They never call to schedule regular check-ups or to make sure progress is being made with the treatment. There have been no-follow ups. When we follow-up, there is always something else that needs to be done. We don't have good visibility into when the treatment will end. It is a like a subscription you cannot end. Your child is asked to wear rubber bands then retainers for a very long time. No one tells you the orthodontic treatment will take a life time to complete.

She is a very conservative dentist (treatment wise) and she saved probably three or four of my teeth that my previous dentist wanted to remove! Years later I've had no issues with these teeth and I'm so glad I got a second opinion before pulling them. She did very fine fillings on each of the teeth and saved them from extraction. You will find that she is very focused and attentive to detail, as well as not in a rush. You feel that her focus is 100% on doing the task at hand. I recently went in for a deep cleaning and I was bit nervous about it I explained to the hygienist my concerns and she took the time to explain the procedure to me and how I would feel after I was done but what I love the most is how gentle she was and asked me every few minutes if I was ok.
