No body likes allergy shots but when you're like me, where you've suffered for years with aggregating symptoms, it seems like your only option. The reason I like this place is two fold: 1) it's open Saturdays which is RARE so I don't have to speed over to a clinic in Houston weekday traffic. 2) they have this option for expedited weekly allergy shots, where they can build up your immunity to the allergy in three months (what would traditionally take a full year), after which you only have to go once a month. It's called "Cluster", and its intense BUT totally worth it if your body can tolerate it. The only downside I can think of is that the wifi in the waiting room is terrible, and this place tends to get crowded after 10am, SO SCHEDULE EARLY! Also the nurses who give the shots are great, super friendly and almost painless when they give shots (I should know, I hate needles!!) read more

I chose to come to The Allergy Clinic in Pearland because it's right by my apartment, but that is the only convenience. I never know which doctor I am going to see, because they have so many physicians there. There are 2 front desk ladies, one of them has the worst attitude ever. She never has a smile on her face, she's rude and not helpful (the African American one). My insurance changed and needed to get my PCP's referral to go see my allergist to give me a different prescription for my allergy meds. On the morning of my appointment I called to make sure my referral has been sent, they told me my PCP claims that i was never there. Which was not true., because I had just went to see my PCP on Thursday. They said they tried to call me on Friday, but they never did, nor did they leave a message. I have a very busy and demanding job, I can't always take off during the week to get my doctor's appointments in, I can only do it on the weekend. Because of this incident, I couldn't go to my appointment that was supposed to be today (Saturday) at 10. Now I will have to wait another week. Actually, no, I will need to find another allergist to go to. The hell with this place. If their physician didn't screw up on the why he wrote my allergy pill prescription in the first place, I wouldn't have to go through this. I will never go back because their office personnel are incompetent. Yes, I am mad. p.s. There are 2 nurses that work in the clinic, they are SUPER NICE, I appreciate them very much. read more

If you care about your wellness at all, do not go to this chain clinic. I had been going to The Allergy Clinic for a year without incident after having a rough time with seasonal allergies. Although the service was fine, something always seemed off. Even after getting my allergy shots, I would not feel the best. I even came in to ask if there was something else that I needed to be tested for in which they told me just to take Allegra. Also, I have almost never interacted with any of the doctors. Despite reservations, I continued to come in and receive allergy shots until this June. The clinic was supposed to order the next round but forgot. I was told that my next shots were delayed and so I had to wait until the serum arrived. I ended up having to schedule the appointment for November. In the mean time, they proceeded to charge my insurance for issuing me the shots even though I never got them. On top of this, they sent me a bill a few weeks ago for the unissued and delayed shots, I called to pay even though I had not been seen yet and it turned out that they sent my bill to collections. The front desk receptionist kept making excuses but really had no idea what she was talking about and overall did not care and now my credit is damaged all over a small bill and incompetent people. read more

Words can not explain how much a blessing Dr. Alnoor Malick has been for me. After a year of previous physicians not listening to me, my cousin suggested that I go to Dr. Malick. He is an awesome listener. After a year of seeing my pcp, 3 ENTs and a pulmonologist, he was the first one to perform PFT. Unfortunately, do to several misdiagnosis, I ended up having a not so necessary sinus surgery and taking several steroids that resulted in another medical condition! Never thought I had adult onset allergic asthma! I am so thankful for him! He works with me to find the right medication cocktail for my asthma! Thanks for your patience and hard work, Dr. Malick! After going to two other Allergy Clinics in Houston and also having sinus surgery, I found The Allergy Clinic in Pearland for my allergy care. The advantages versus the other clinics were several. 1) They always put patient care first above all else. 2) Open Saturday for BOTH allergy shots and to see the Doctor, NP, PA 3) Allergy serum more comprehensive and stronger than most 4) Rush accelerated options for getting up to maintenance dose 5) Very comprehensive root cause analysis approach of allergy issues, including CT Scan & other scope analysis with ENT and GERD doctors 6) Front office always try to fit me into the schedule and very courteous I really appreciate the through approach of Dr. Saraf, Dr. Malick, Nef (NP), all of the medical assistants, office manager Kelly and entire front office and remaining staff. I really appreciate the allergy clinic and highly recommend it for all of your allergy related needs. read more

I went to this clinic because it was convenient and I had seen good reviews on the Fannin location. So I figured, "Ok, it's the same doctors and its close to my house so I'll just go with convenience." I had cancelled my appointment once and changed the date twice because I go to school in another state and rarely go home. When the dates had come around, I ended up cancelling because of school conflicts which is why I had scheduled it for today. The lady on the phone had told me it was later that day around 2pm. Did not receive a reminder call about my appointment the day before, nor did I get a voicemail from them. I came 30 minutes early and the front desk lady had told me that I had an appointment earlier that morning, called me out on cancelling my previous appointments, and said there were no available appointments that day. Then, I proceeded to tell her that I did not receive a voicemail and that I had written it on my calendar on my phone. She claims that she had called beforehand to remind me about my appointment but I did not receive such call. This is when I got extremely frustrated. I told her, "I need to see the doctor today because I have school on Monday." She said she couldn't promise anything but told me to sit down and she would talk to her manager. I look around, and there weren't many people there, at least two other patients. Talk about "busy". I understand if a clinic is small and busy but do not say you are "busy" or have no available appointments when no one is in the lobby. I sat and waited for 15 minutes, the PA/NP(?) asked about my previous medical history and after had told me to wait for the doctor. 5 minutes later, she comes back in and attempts to do the allergy test. First of all, I wasn't even given any notice about how this procedure worked so if any one was going to poke around me, I would like some notice of how the procedure was going to go. I asked her many questions because I was caught off guard and have a slight phobia to needles. She then goes, "No one told you the procedure over the phone?" And I say, "No, they had told me to worry about it when I got to my appointment." I have NEVER EVER experienced such a lack of professionalism in a medical clinic. I would really liked to know how this procedure worked before getting the allergy test. It gets worse. I asked if I could have a blood test instead because I know how my body reacts to certain things and I had a bad hospital experience in the past concerning my skin. She goes, "Well the blood test is not accurate and this allergy test is better." And I go, "I would prefer the blood test because my skin is super sensitive and I don't want my skin to react badly." And she goes, "How do you know your skin is sensitive when you've never gotten an allergy test?" Excuse me, you've just met me do you know my body? I was baffled after that and said I was scared since I had gotten boils on my skin in the past and she goes "well you won't get boils from this." Thanks for knowing it all, ma'am. I left shortly after that without notice, not that they would care. Not coming back. Never been treated so horribly in a clinic like that. You're better off somewhere else. read more
