This place is welcoming and the food is on point! I come here every Sunday for football.

First Responders/Military themed with memorabilia everywhere. This is where the locals go, and our out of town friends want to be taken. Best wait-staff in town. 10 TVs. Dozens of beers on tap. Menu has something for everyone. Happy Hour and daily specials. Owners do a ton for the local community. Come once and you'll be back. Closed on Tuesdays.

    Great draft selection.

This is a great local pub! All bars should be this friendly and warm. Great bartenders. The bar is a 6 star and the food is 4. The food is good and they have a full menu of sandwiches, but don't come expecting foodie uniqueness. It's just good pub food made with care. Something for everyone. They are known for their wings which are cooked perfectly and well sized. Not too small to be nibbles but not so big that you lose the sauce. I got the Buffalo. It was authentic Buffalo. Not spicy but good for everyone to try. Be nice if there was a hotter variety as well. The onion soup was great. Would recommend a bowl if that if that's your thing. Also tried the seafood chowder special. I liked it but will stick to onion and chili I think. Great draft list with new selections all the time. It's the kind of place that when you look around you see more drafts and sidecars than you do cocktails. It's great. Food specials every day. I also tried the salmon sandwich on ciabatta one time. It was fine. I'd get it again. On special I have seen tacos, mussels, burgers and soups. They have their own Heroes branded hot sauce varieties (Garlic and a Chipolte) which are delicious. This place is crowded most nights and weekends. Check them for lunch or an early happy hour if you want to get a seat.

This place has a pretty neat atmosphere with a lot of seating. We were seated quick, but service beyond that was average. Everybody thought their food was just ok and overpriced.

Solid burgers and all that. Good service too. The fish and chips is a good option as well as the crab soup.

Great spot for a happy hour snack or a full blown meal. Stopped in for some wings (Tommy like wingy) and could not have asked for a better serving. Wings were cooked to perfection. Massive flats and huge drumettes. The blue cheese dressing was chunky and tangy and the celery was fresh and crisp. Also decide to get the French onion soup. Great amount of cheese broiled and melted perfectly atop a flavorful onion packed broth.

ABOUT THE AMBIANCE…read more Love the consistent, lively vibe at this Eastport restaurant/bar - seven days a week, it is sure to be clamoring with locals who pull-up by kayak and dingy (a 100-yd walk for the neighborhood dock) or walk in from homes nearby. Davis' is both people and dog friendly, allowing both species to chat it up, socialize and refuel. The outside sports a dozen a so picnic-style tables and a few high tops that bleed into the street. Shade is omnipresent once seated and servers kindly offer up water for your four-legged friends. There's a cozy park with seating just across the street from the hostess stand for those eagerly awaiting a table, right by the community dock. The inside of Davis' Pub is distinctly "bar" - replete with TVs and high tops - though there's a surprisingly large area for table service beyond the often-crowded bar. Don't expect anything slick or shiny here -- a fresh coat of paint may be tough to find. This is an authentic, worn Eastport treasure -- some use it as their comfortable watering hole, others for a cozy meal and a large swath to gather with friends.

We parked in a garage within walking distance. We made reservations ahead. Upon entering, we were greeted by a pleasant young lady and taken to our table. 1747 Pub is located in restored building indicative of that time in Maryland. The ambiance was dated and historic, if that makes sense. It was if we were transported in time and having a spot of tea in the dining room of a well established colonial family. As tea was the main event, we placed our orders: we chose the Colonial High Tea service which included a pot of tea (you chose your own flavor), choice of flavored scone (we chose cherry chocolate and cranberry-orange), and an assortment of bite size tea cakes, sandwiches, served on a tiered serving dish, and an appetizer to start (we chose cream of crab soup and French onion soup- these was an additional $3.50, and quiche Lorraine). Price was $34/pp. The flavor of teas we chose were: Cupid's Arrow (with black tea with cherry, almond, and vanilla), Harry and Megan's Royal Wedding ( which included rooibos, a red tea which is one of my favorites) and Jasmine Green tea (semi-fermented green tea with jasmine petals). The teas arrived in our own individual colorful tea pots and we got to pick what color teacups! They were beautiful in design. They were accompanied by sugar, lemon, and creamer. We enjoyed each tea. We started with our apps of the cream of crab soup, and French onion soup and quiche. The soups arrived hot and were tasty. The quiche was nice, creamy, and fresh with a great flavor and crumbly crust. Next were our scones, the cherry chocolate (special for the month) and cranberry-orange. Both had great flavor, but we liked the cranberry orange better. The tiered serving dish arrived with the savory tarts and finger sandwiches and a selection of tea cakes and pastries. They were all scrumptious! Upon leaving we explored the exhibits at the entrance and saw that they had items found in the establishment that dated back hundreds of years, including some items that belong to the enslaved workers of the establishment at that time. Fascinating! All in all, a fine tea time along with an impromptu history exhibit, was had by all.

My husband ordered the braised short ribs, not realizing it came with a spicy sauce. When we brought it up, Bobby told us if it was remade, we'd be charged for both orders. No effort to check with the kitchen or involve a manager -- just a flat no. Then my husband ordered an Old Forester 1924, but was given the 1920 instead. The 1924 is highly allocated and hard to find. when he saw they had it, he really wanted to taste it. When we pointed it out, Bobby just said, "Oh, okay," and never corrected the drink or offered a solution. The only bright spot was the bartender, who was friendly and offered him a taste of the 1924; that was the only moment of good service all night. Really disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. 1 star only because of the bartender.

Visited with a bunch of guys after touring the Naval Academy campus...a short walk from the campus, it's a great Irish pub with a great ambiance and selection of Irish beer on tap (Guinness, Harp, Smithwick, Kilkenny) as well as the usual American brand. In addition, it houses a great selection of whiskeys: Irish (Bushmills, Jamesons, Red Breast, etc. - the different varieties), bourbons (to include Pappy's, Blanton), scotch (MacAllans), etc. The dining experience pairs well with the beer and whiskeys. The meat for the reuben sandwich and traditional corned beef are selected and prepared in a traditional manner making it delicious.
