Ten of my friends and I went to this bar and presented our Arizona IDs. We are all over 21 and the bouncer said he could not confirm our IDs because he is not familiar with Arizona IDs? He was also trying to check the IDs with his phone flashlight. They told us to come back later when another bouncer was in. This was oddly a very fun spot. I was not expecting to enjoy myself as much as I did. I came out here on a Friday night by myself and ultimately met a group of girls who took me in and we were able to enjoy our night. The music was good and the vibes were really fun. I would say the bartenders worked really well and making sure to keep a nice quick flow of making drinks. Overall, I would recommend it to others. First of all I have never written a review before but the experience here was awful enough that I have to say something. I wish I looked at the reviews before going lol. If you don't want to read the whole thing, please trust me and don't waste your time. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Me and 2 of my friends were honestly having a good enough time, we are all sober but just wanted to have a night out. It was fun until an older man grabbed my friends butt unprovoked. She came to me right away and told me, pointed out the dude and everything, so I went outside and told one of the security guards who said he would go talk to him. My friend specifically told him she didn't want him knowing it was us who said anything and the security guard agreed. Watching the security and the man talk was disgusting, they were laughing and smiling, and nothing came of it. Whatever, we're still trying to have a good time and just avoid the dude. Fast forward about 30 minutes and the 3 of us (my friends and I) step outside to get some air and talk without the music when the man who grabbed my friend comes out and starts yelling. Mind you me and the girl he grabbed are young women in our 20s and he is pushing 60. He's screaming and saying "who the f*** said I touched their a**," "there's no f****** a** to grab anyways," "yall are some b******" etc. and getting in my face. To be completely fair I was screaming back and wasn't doing anything to deescalate but I wasn't going to let him talk to us like that. What is making me the most upset about the situation is how security handled it. This man is yelling, getting aggressive, and getting in our faces, and what does security do? Nothing. The guard we initially told is there and is barely putting his arm out to hold the guy back, and he's telling me and my friends to back up and leave it alone while not saying anything to the guy who is provoking the situation. When the guy finally turned around and was done yelling he just got to walk right back in like nothing happened, while we're being told "you guys can't go back in if you're going to go fight him" when we didn't even start anything in the first place. When I asked the security why nothing was being done he said "I can't just take your word for it," after he witnessed this man trying to start a fight with us. I'm still upset and this might be my emotions talking but if you're not going to protect women in an environment like this you're not good people and need to do better. I won't be back and I hope other people read this and don't go either. Edit to reply to the owner: yeah that's a crock of shit. All 3 of us literally live in sober living and were stone cold sober. We had to go back home and breathalyze so nice try there. The guy who was with us never said that to your security guard, period. Also me and my friend, the "two girls" your security guard mentioned, NEVER confronted the man who grabbed my friend until he was out front screaming at us. Check your cameras and it'll prove your security is a liar. If you're gonna run a shitty club with shitty security at least own it and don't make up stories. This is pathetic. read more

I went in with my husband 10/3 but it was already passed midnight soo technically 10/4 I decided to go to the bathroom and I noticed the lady's in the bathroom in the second stall that the door was falling off towards the wall and I decided I didn't want to deal with that so I waited to use the stall closest to the door to avoid dealing with a broken door however as soon as I got out of my stall looked to my right to go wash my hands the bathroom stall door that slides fell off its hinges and busted my lip open scratched my chest up I was crying loud asf and bleeding a lot with in 2 minutes the manager "Robert" came inside and gave me an ice pack and immediately picked the door up no greeting no apology all that before I could even get a photo of the door on the ground for proof i proceeded to find my husband who was outside waiting for me at the bar and tell him what happened and we asked for him and he came my husband tried talking to him and since it's so loud in there he obviously needs to talk louder and he was talking with his hands which made that guy mad and got kicked out when Robert finally spoke to me all he said was send me the bill mind you he gave no contact info no last name just his name is Robert we then called the police to have this documented since it's a civil matter there's nothing they could do however the paramedics looked at me and it's not quite deep enough for stitches and this all could've been avoided with an actual sincere apology I'm hurt and left bloody in the face and your first reaction is to kick us out right so I will not be coming back and be telling everybody I know not to come back this was ridiculous and he was rude when someone is hurt due to your faulty equipment that should become a priority it could have been worse had my mouth have been open or me shorter that could have knocked my teeth out or knocked me in my head unconscious DO NOT COME HERE A girl waiting outside the bathroom told me that he also lied and told people I ran into the door not that a literal door fell on my face read more

This bar during karaoke sucks! They have the same people singing over and over again. We waited for our turn to sing a song and they skipped us. Then announced that the same person who's been singing literally every other song is closing out the night. Like wtf we didn't sing at all that night. soo i came here based on a recommendation that this place was probably one of the most lit places in Carlsbad. it really did meet expectations. the bartenders were super welcoming and on top of it. The chad-looking security dude is absolutely awful. If you go out with a beer he will not hesitate to aggressively grab the drink out of your hand and pour it out. I walked out with half of my drink and politely asked him if I could finish it before I leave. He said 'don't play or fight back' and tried to wrestle it out of my hand then proceeded to pour it out. TLD;DR Don't waste your time. Slow service. Drinks are prepared terribly. NO REFUNDS EXCHANGES OR BAD OPINIONS. Atmosphere was okay. Large dance floor & music was good & loud. That's where the positive aspects end. Line when we got there. $10 cover fee. Cash only, with a convenient broken ATM with a fee right outside. Asked for Vodka Redbulls & a margarita (hard to mess up you'd think) & bill was $27. Vodka redbulls were okay, tasted a bit off but doable, but the margarita was absolutely terrible, completely undrinkable. I went to the bar & told the bartender, he rolled his eyes & put some more triple sec in the drink. Nope, still unbelievably sour, like if I drank that I'd def be throwing up soon after. I returned to the bar, with the amount of drink in the picture & asked the same bartender "hey man, I'm sorry but this is just TOO sour, it's undrinkable still, can I just swap it for a beer bottle" (assuming it would be cheaper than the mixed drink). I got another eye roll, & told "I could charge you for a beer" .... "That's what margaritas are, tequila, triple sec, lime juice" I was in disbelief... repeated myself again about it being pure sour tasting, & he just stared at me. Then AGAIN rolled his eyes (I thought only teenage girls did that this often) & then he pours the tiniest amount of soda into the drink (because it was so full still) & puts it in front of me & walks away. This is the most disgusting establishment I have ever came across, I was ASSAULTED by the security guard named Cisco. My friend and I had just arrived and had ordered our first drink. We go outside on the patio and out of no where, Cisco the security guard aggressively pushed through me causing me to not only spill my drink, but to almost fall down. Luckily my friend was there to catch me and Cisco was far gone to apologize for what had happened. Since he was the security guard we thought maybe he was trying to catch someone, but nope. He just went out for some fresh air. My friend then talks to a security guard named Juice who was also outside and witnessed the ordeal, and calmly apologized for the inceident on behalf of Cisco. Cisco later came back in and my friend calmly and collectively asked Cisco to apologize for almost making me fall. Cisco at this time appears to be intoxicated and rudely instead of apologizing tells us to leave. Not only that but he made us give back our FIRST drinks that were still FULL since we had just bought them. I can not believe that a full grown man could harm a women like that and can't even be an adult about it and apologize. Instead he wants to act like a child and kick us out. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and have never in my life been treated so poorly at an establishment. I will never come back and I will also tell every female to be careful when they step foot in here, the staff does not one bit care about their customers if they hire someone like Cisco. read more

Large African American bouncer with the cornrows is truly useless as security and as a bouncer. My fiancé was attacked at random by a drunk women in the bar, she did not fight back, my fiancé was literally drinking water of all things minding her own business. When I arrived at the bar I asked the large African American bouncer if he could escort me to the back to check on her since no other security guards were helping during the situation, he absolutely refused to get any help and proceeded to insult me and try to fight for simply trying to attend to my girlfriend. Granted this guy is much larger than me yet he was stating that I was "threatening him" when I first approached him I asked very kindly if he could please help me but he proceeded to become hostile towards for not apparent reason. Thankfully another security guard with some gold teeth came to the front as me and the larger bouncer were arguing and proceeded to actually help with situation. He went to the back helped my helped girl get out of the bar. Moral of the story here is that there was a clear random attack on my girlfriend and staff there was not willing to help. All they did was kick the other girl out but did not try to get any information nor did they try to call the police. Stay away from this bar, it is clearly dangerous considering bouncer are not willing to help. I truly cannot believe that the main objective for the large African American bouncer was to fight me rather than to help me... what a joke. read more
