They moved me from Lakewood to Fairview Park, Ohio, at a speedy rate, but were very cautious and professional. I was given a time range and they arrived within it friendly and ready to go. Prior to the move, they called a couple of times to confirm locations, prices and optional add-on's. They were able to supply me with a cover for my mattress (that I got to keep!) and proper care for some more fragile items. I was absolutely blown away by their help! Thanks again guys.

Patient states that she had hired a moving service to help move a lot of heavy items to her home. She states that she originally agreed to pay a certain price but yesterday when they arrived they wanted her to pay more money for them to move heavier things such as barrels and bags. She states that she refused to pay them so they left her stuff in the street. She states that she had no other way to move the items so she forced herself to move all of her things. She states that she used the right side of her body to help move and push the items. She states that now since then she has had pain to the right shoulder, side hip, leg and lower back. This increases with movement. Pain can radiate up the back and down the righ leg. " Nuff said! but I wanna state that it was a combination of Tina and Tim that literally tried to "milk The clock " not work -stand around while the one employee Jamison was busting his behind all by himself literally ...while the other bully Tim was standing above me, (while I was packing or even in front of my building )not working ! wasting time, charging me per minute, while standing still waiting for money letting minutes pass and then billing you for that !!!!practically as I reminded him he was" wasting time" (7 hour job - should have been left in its completion ) he took 7 hours and still couldn't compleate it ...btw I payed for 7hours $1500.00...! Tim procrastinating and was constantly offended ...and not working at all !!!!! not keeping accurate time clock (by not telling ME whe his timer went off although he SAID he would ...and not being proactive with me, belligerently aggressively trying to extort the money from me, and I would rather him push my stuff from the side of the road, wich he did then be extorted for money from ZZ Top. No answer and the mailbox is full. Impossible to communicate with. - December 16, 25. My in-person experience was relatively good - good enough that I was posting about it to family and friends with high recommendation. But the day after the move I went to set up my TV and discovered that the screen was severely cracked, having been (it seems) pinched in the top two corners. The crack spread across the entire top half of the screen. The TV works, but is unusable. I had to buy a new one, which cost me almost $200. I submitted the damage complaint twice and was not even contacted. For a company that calls and emails every day for a week trying to GET my business in the first place, that is particularly gross. As it stands now, I can't imagine ever using or recommending College HUNKS again purely because of the lack of response to my complaints, let alone lack of resolution. If you don't have anything fragile, sure, go ahead. But maybe move the fragile things yourself (my TV was the only fragile thing I did not move myself, and I sorely regret it). I will add that it was a 3.5 hour job that involved moving down from a second floor in a house and then up to a third floor in another house, and the TV was the only thing damaged. It was not packed in a box and the movers assured me they could use their TV bag and it would be fine. It was not fine.

Our first phone call was prompt and positive to arrange the move. He called prior to the move to confirm the detail, (items, location and contact). His arrival was timely and very professional. Items were wrapped and carefully taken from the unit to the trailer. No time was wasted and everything arrived at the destination quickly and in the exact condition they left the unit. I highly recommend using his services.

I would NOT recommend this moving company…read more The move started out well. They arrived on time and initially seemed professional. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. First, the movers started putting items on the truck that I had clearly set aside to throw away, including a dryer. After loading things that weren't supposed to be moved, they then told me they were running out of room on the truck. Once we arrived at the new place, the pace became extremely slow. There were four movers, but at times it seemed like only one person was actually going back and forth upstairs and putting furniture back together. I was told they were using a "chain line," but whatever system they were using was not efficient. The move ended up taking two hours longer than expected, which added approximately $500 to my bill. Even worse, they broke my daughter's TV, which she had only owned for about four months. When I tried to file a claim, I repeatedly called and was told that a manager would contact me. I kept speaking with the same person, John, who would act surprised each time that no manager had called me back. Eventually, they stopped answering my calls altogether. As we've continued unpacking, we've discovered another serious issue. The TV stand had been taped closed with belongings inside of it, but when it arrived at the new place, those items were missing and the TV stand was empty. My biggest problem isn't just that things went wrong during the move--it's the company's lack of accountability afterward. Items were damaged, other belongings appear to be missing, my bill increased by hundreds of dollars because of the additional time, and my attempts to resolve the issues have been ignored. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them. If something gets damaged or goes missing, don't expect them to make the claims process easy or to take responsibility.

They helped from beginning to end and they were in contact step by step. Everyone was super nice, professional and prompt. The unit was securely built and arrived clean. My brother, the packing guru, used straps to secure items. When I opened the door upon arrival in California, not a thing was out of place or damaged. It truly could not have been easier. We emptied the unit at our leisure (3 day window) and they promptly picked it up. I'm so glad I arranged to have items shipped. My kids were right - I would gave regretted not having my dad's desk. The customer service was impeccable each time we communicated. Once dropped off, we had three days to pack it up and lock it and they took care of everything from there. They moved the unit from Ohio to MN and even stored it for us for a small fee until we could move in. They dropped the storage unit in front on our move day and had it picked up and out of the way the next day. Highly recommended!!!
