For our anniversary we like to try new steakhouses. We've never been to the steakhouse at Boulder Station. So we decided to go there. The service was great the steak was delicious, it was a nice night. Laid back atmosphere.

The seating was great. It ws my daughters 21st bithday and we wanted to take her to a great steak dinner.. the food was excellent the view from inside was amazing and looked upscale. The service however was very unpleasant and frustrating, slow as well. Dirty plates were not removed from our table after finishing each plate. Refills on cocktails were not offered and that was importantly due to the occasion. I hope they fix this because I would like to return.

I'd heard over and over again that The Angry Butcher is a place to try if you're in the mood for a great steak with a great price, and amazing service. We finally made it to have a family meal. The Angry Butcher wasn't too crazy busy when we walked in, so we were seated right away- but there was a giant party so I figured we would probably to wait for our server if they also had that table. We were seated and given glasses of water and waited a while for our server who took our drinks. After several minutes of waiting our server came back and apologized for the wait and advised that they were also handling the large party so they apologized in advanced since it might be a while. We were understanding, and were not expecting the best service, since it was a huge party. We ordered the calamari, crab and lobster cakes, Caesar salad, and the lobster chowder to share. We each got a filet mignon, two were going to be medium well, while the other two medium and added mashed potatoes, classic oscar style, and of course, those rolls whenever we got a chance to ask for more. Our server did their best, we did have to send a steak back, but the food was great. The chowder is a must try. The other three steaks were great and tasty, and the Caesar salad was enough for the entire table to share and take home. All portions at The Angry Butcher are huge and enough to share. The steaks were beautifully cut and cooked, and even with the one we had to return, we enjoyed our meal. While the service was a bit rocky, and our poor server seemed stress, we had a great time! We ate, we were able to try a variety of their menu, our server was great, and we were also very grateful they did their best with how busy they were. I would come back to the Angry Butcher, and I would recommend an appointment, so you do not wait around to be seated! It is a must try in Vegas for sure.

Always delicious meat (and hot, fresh bread)! My gf and I made a reservation for Valentine's Day and the service is always so warm and welcoming. They seated us right outside which was perfect since we made it just in time for the waterfall light show inside the Sam's Town casino.

Came back after two years. Our reservation was for 7:30pm and we were seated promptly and got a booth as requested. It was not too busy. We shared the mushroom ravioli appetizer; my boyfriend had the fried chicken again and I ordered the 12oz prime rib. Service was friendly and smooth. We always enjoy watching the Sunset Stampede which is a free laser light and water show in the Mystic Falls Park My original review still stands, and we'll continue coming back here in the future.

The food is really good. The atmosphere inside the restaurant and the sitting area in the Mystic Falls park area is very elegant. Definitely a place to have a romantic dinner at. I loved how the restaurant used real linen on the tables. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing time, but were invited in with smiles. The service was was good and we received our dinner in a timely manner. The macaroni and cheese and the mashed potatoes seemed handmade. They were delicious! My husband enjoyed his prime rib. I ordered my ribeye well done. (mainly because most restaurants when I order well done, they're still pink.). But as you can see in my picture, it was definitely well done. To the point where I really couldn't eat much of it. (my fault there.) overall, the place was really nice and I would eat there again.

Perfect New York cooked rare. Heaven on a plate.

Everytime we come to the nest kept secret in Las Vegas Eva's, we always have the best experience.. The meat selection is always cooked exactly to order, portions are very gracious and amazingly prepared. Our server Blanca was the epitome of a professional and so attentive and the management staff echoes this professionalism. The environment is absolutely perfect and I HIGHLY recommend adding this to your Vegas adventure. MAKE YOUR RESERVATION NOW...

A hidden gem located in Sam's Town Casino. We opted to sit on the patio and it was beautiful. The plants and waterfall displayed a great ambiance as if you're outside. The monstera plants reminded me so much of home, Hawaii. Service was good and the buss boy was also very nice and attentive. Fiod: Complimentary Bread Crab & Lobster Cakes 22 Oz Bone In Rib Eye Steak Mashed Potatoes The food was delicious. We ordered chimichurri and I enjoyed that acidic taste for my steak. My steak was cooked perfectly but the only thing is I wished my cut had more marble. Still good though. My friends enjoyed their meals too. Definitely will be back. Great service, good food and beautiful patio ambiance.

First time ever having to send a steak back -- ordered medium rare, but it came out well done all the way through. To their credit, the staff was friendly and quickly brought me a replacement and the second one was rare not medium rare but good . The quality of the steak itself was excellent, just not cooked right. My husband had the cioppino and absolutely loved it -- fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Overall, great ingredients and welcoming service, but the steak cooking was hit or miss for us.

I had many positive recommendations before booking. Sadly this did not meet expectations. Most of the issues may be from a weak server. Many misses. With so many excellent steakhouses in the city, not sure if I will return. Disappointed

The wedge is small but it's loaded with goodies!

We absolutely love The Angry Butcher and come every time we're in Las Vegas, a couple few times if we're staying at the hotel or KOA! We've always had a stellar experience with the food from appetizers to entrees and of course desert! Service can be a bit haughty, not sure if that's the nature of the beast or just the restaurants "style" but it's been that way every time! On our most recent visit we enjoyed the patio, which we always request, and were treated to two fountain shows during our meal! We were immediately given ice water and a basket of bread, I absolutely love that! No waiting, no asking, just service! We started with espresso martinis and a bowl of the rich, decadent lobster chowder, no better way to start! Hubby had the ribeye (as usual) and I opted for a wedge salad and the short rib appetizer, no entree this time as the chowder filled me up! The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the short rib literally melted in my mouth. The grits were a bit thin, needed a spoon to eat them, but still had a nice mild flavor to let the rib shine. Unfortunately no room for desert this time but next time we'll definitely have some bread pudding, it's to die for!

Ask the Community - The Angry Butcher

Where are the steak cuts from and are they USDA prime?

The manager told me they are Choice cuts

Does Angry Butcher offer military discount? Thx

Hi there, and thank you for your service! Although we do not have them for The Angry Butchter, Military Discounts are currently provided at the hotel.

Do you need to make a reservation to get it or can you just walk in and get a seat?

Hi Kimberly, reservations are highly recommended, however you can walk in. If it's a holiday, your best bet would be to reserve a table. Hope to see you soon!

What made the experience especially uncomfortable is that, after reading many positive reviews, I found myself wondering why my interactions felt so different. We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

After a few songs, we decided to order a couple of drinks. I ordered a Mango Cart, which is a perfectly fine wheat beer. My fiancée ordered a gin and tonic. That's where the issues arose. The tonic was served with no gin in it. When this was brought to my attention, the bartender was very slow to get to me. I had just picked up my drink, and I'm pretty sure she knew why I had come right back. She insisted that there was "a lot of gin" in the drink. It was a small glass, and I know what both gin and water taste like. There was no gin in the drink. She knew that. A second bartender, upon being asked, said they typically put a shot and a half of gin in the drink, so we asked for the shot separate from the tonic, and we'd mix it ourselves. We were told it doesn't work like that, which tells me all I need to know about the integrity of this business. They knew what they were doing. If you come here, order a beer or order the separate components for your mixed drink, then mix it yourself. I know everything is getting more expensive, but you're already making money on well gin. There's no need to cheat your customers like that.

We have found the staff to be patient, knowledgeable, and friendly with suggestions on pairing their delicious brews with food. On recent visits we tried their brats with chips, and really enjoyed them. I tried the beast brat, which is a combination of a few different meats. It's something I feel like I can regularly enjoy. My fiancée tried the traditional brat, and preferred that one. We enjoyed these with the Czech Plz slow-pour and the Sugoi! green melon mochi IPA. We also recently ordered the Smorgasbord, which consists of two types of sausage, beer cheese, radishes, pickles, and warm pretzels (we ordered ours without the pretzels). It was the ideal shareable meal. We paired that with the Evocation, a delicious farmhouse ale, along with the Resinate, an American IPA. These beers went perfectly with the meal. The ambiance is very welcoming, suggesting a German Biergarten. They host different theme nights throughout the month, from tabletop gaming to trivia. They have a selection of board games, and are family friendly. This is a great stop anytime when visiting the Booze District.
