Our 13 year old Frigidaire refrigerator freezer started leaking water from underneath the unit. We called The Appliance Guys on Monday morning, and we got a same day appointment. That is unheard of. James showed up early after a phone call from him to confirm I was home. Again, unheard of. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and what caused it so we can prevent reoccurance. I wish I could rate Nick from "the Appliance Guys" at 10. Rating him at 5 just isnt high enough. Not only did he repair my furnace, he saved me over $3000.00 & restored my faith in humanity. A bit of a back story: When my furnace went out, 1st I contacted my home warranty company. HUGH mistake. They said a repair tech would be sent out anywhere between noon & 6 PM. At about 6:15 when no one had arrived or even called to give me some kind of explanation, I called them & after being put on hold for what seemed like an hour, I was told, "Oh right you DO have an appointment today. Let me contact the tech & see what the situation is". Well the tech finally called & said they would be at my house in approx 20 minutes. When they finally arrived, they said a $75.00 service call charge was required before they would even look at my furnace. Well the total extent of their "service" was to take few pix of my furnace. They were gone less than 10 minutes later, saying they would have the company contact me in a few days with an estimate. Well they did contact me in "record time" saying the repair would cost me +$3,000.00. I was furious. That's when I found Nick. Nick is proof that there are still people who actually do the right thing & aren't just in it for the $. He went above & beyond to get the part needed to repair my furnace & when it arrived, he installed it the same day & didnt leave until we were both certain it was working properly. I wont hesitate to recommend Nick (the Appliance guys) to anyone looking for a proper, qualified, responsible individual who will come into your home, fix your problem, & not take advantage of your situation for his bottom line. My parents washer was not working properly so I called and James answered. He asked a few questions and said he would arrive in 30 min. He literally arrived 30 min later the same day and diagnosed the problem of the washer. He ordered the parts once he figured what the problem was and the parts arrived the next day. James called me the next day and said he would be arriving to fix the washer between 8-9am and once again he got there at the time he said he was going to be there. I really appreciated the punctuality, he's not lying when he says he going to be there at a certain time. I've experienced having to wait a lot longer with other companies than the projected time so it was awesome that he got there when he said he would. Anyway he installed the new parts and fixed the washer right away. James customer service was 10/10, really nice and kind person. Read the good reviews so I thought I'd give them a try to fix the washer and dryer. The washer was leaking and the dryer was making a grating noise when in use. James responded quickly to the call and was on time. He figured out what was wrong and ordered the parts. The dryer is now noise-free and the washer doesn't leak anymore.
