I requested service from The Appliance Guys in December for my dishwasher. From the beginning, they were very honest and transparent. I was informed that ordering parts from Whirlpool could take some time because they place part orders once they have accumulated enough requests. I appreciated them setting the right expectation. James explained that it was worth repairing my dishwasher since it is a good brand and still had plenty of life left. To my surprise, he personally called me sooner than expected to schedule the appointment because the part had already arrived. James is very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. He replaced the broken part efficiently, and my dishwasher is now working perfectly. He even advised me to keep the old parts for at least one year since they are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, something I truly appreciated. The price was very affordable, especially considering they use genuine parts. I highly recommend The Appliance Guys. Their work is outstanding, and their customer service is excellent.

I called about a repair to my ice maker and some leaking in the line. Nick came out right away and he was the first one to say , yes, he can fix it. I guess no one in the antelope valley likes to repair G.E monogram refrigerators? Well he did! He was easy to talk to and gave a fair price. Extremely responsive and knowledgeable! Definitely worth the price. James was quick and efficient and enjoyable to talk too. I appreciate that even though he was just out for a dryer repair he was insightful and helpful explaining what we did or didn't need without trying to sell us anything. Definitely would suggest them for future repairs anyone would need done as they'll get the job done 100% without charging an arm and a leg. read more

I wish I could rate Nick from "the Appliance Guys" at 10. Rating him at 5 just isnt high enough. Not only did he repair my furnace, he saved me over $3000.00 & restored my faith in humanity. A bit of a back story: When my furnace went out, 1st I contacted my home warranty company. HUGH mistake. They said a repair tech would be sent out anywhere between noon & 6 PM. At about 6:15 when no one had arrived or even called to give me some kind of explanation, I called them & after being put on hold for what seemed like an hour, I was told, "Oh right you DO have an appointment today. Let me contact the tech & see what the situation is". Well the tech finally called & said they would be at my house in approx 20 minutes. When they finally arrived, they said a $75.00 service call charge was required before they would even look at my furnace. Well the total extent of their "service" was to take few pix of my furnace. They were gone less than 10 minutes later, saying they would have the company contact me in a few days with an estimate. Well they did contact me in "record time" saying the repair would cost me +$3,000.00. I was furious. That's when I found Nick. Nick is proof that there are still people who actually do the right thing & aren't just in it for the $. He went above & beyond to get the part needed to repair my furnace & when it arrived, he installed it the same day & didnt leave until we were both certain it was working properly. I wont hesitate to recommend Nick (the Appliance guys) to anyone looking for a proper, qualified, responsible individual who will come into your home, fix your problem, & not take advantage of your situation for his bottom line. They offered suggestions for quality replacements and no, they weren't trying to sell their stuff. They just wanted us to know the products they had the best luck with on warranty repairs as well as normal repairs. read more

My parents washer was not working properly so I called and James answered. He asked a few questions and said he would arrive in 30 min. He literally arrived 30 min later the same day and diagnosed the problem of the washer. He ordered the parts once he figured what the problem was and the parts arrived the next day. James called me the next day and said he would be arriving to fix the washer between 8-9am and once again he got there at the time he said he was going to be there. I really appreciated the punctuality, he's not lying when he says he going to be there at a certain time. I've experienced having to wait a lot longer with other companies than the projected time so it was awesome that he got there when he said he would. Anyway he installed the new parts and fixed the washer right away. James customer service was 10/10, really nice and kind person. I definitely found my new appliance guy, and would 100% call him back if I or my parents have any other issues with any other appliances. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Read the good reviews so I thought I'd give them a try to fix the washer and dryer. The washer was leaking and the dryer was making a grating noise when in use. James responded quickly to the call and was on time. He figured out what was wrong and ordered the parts. The dryer is now noise-free and the washer doesn't leak anymore. I contacted the appliance guys because my fridge was was not freezing properly. Somebody came over and all they did was just look up the barcode of my fridge to see if it had warranty didn't even check any parts to see what was actually wrong. He told me my fridge had a leak and was going to be $1800 to get fixed and then told me my type of fridge was really bad and recommended me to just buy a new fridge. Just for the visit they charged me $100 just to come and look at my fridge. I contacted somebody else and told me all my fridge needed was refrigerant and it did not have a leak they charged me $180 for the service. My fridge is working perfectly fine now. I don't recommend the appliance guys they overcharged just for a simple visit and didn't even even check properly and were overcharging me for a simple fix. read more
