At first contact, I wasn't entirely certain that they had accepted my job offer and date. I did have to message a few times to make sure the date and time was actually locked down. I, and so many of us, have been "flaked" on in the past, as I did a few times in Nashville somewhat recently. So I felt I had to reach out a little more as I had a very tight timeline and was just trying to get all my ducks in a row. However with a few messages we did lock in the day and time with a couple days to spare. I would just say that when we are here putting multiple offers on Yelp, you do end up getting blasted by some companies immediately, too much so, but it does make them "seem eager" to lock in the job. Just a little better first contact would be the only slightly negative thing I could say. On to the great: I received a call and message from Gio of their ETA the day before and on the day, which they met. The heat/humidity combination got really bad, still they had surprisingly great attitudes and asked all the right questions when they came up. They wrapped and protected all the furniture as if it was going in a cross country van/semi-trailer. Going down apartment steps, everyone's furniture has gotten scratched and bonked and movers have just said.. oh well. These guys knew exactly what they were doing and everything arrived perfectly. 1 Star -- An Extremely Disappointing and Traumatic Moving Experience…read more It has taken me a couple of months to process this experience and honestly get past how traumatic it was, which is why I am only now writing this review. This was my second time using Evolution Movers, and I deeply regret trusting them with my belongings a second time. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. From the beginning, the movers made me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. There were rude, condescending comments made about my belongings, and my wishes regarding how my home and property were handled were repeatedly disregarded. They insisted on going through areas of my home despite my objections and showed a complete lack of care when it came to doorways, floors, and my personal property. I even purchased drinks for the crew, only to have one of the movers tell me, with an attitude, that he didn't like grape Powerade. My belongings were made fun of, and I could hear complaints about having to move certain items, including my plants. As a customer who had hired and paid for a professional moving service, I found this behavior incredibly disrespectful. Unfortunately, the problems weren't limited to their attitude. Multiple items were damaged or broken during transit. Their truck also tore up my driveway while backing in, once again demonstrating what felt like a complete disregard for my property. Perhaps one of the most unprofessional things I witnessed was the movers working out on our gym equipment while they were on the clock. I did purchase insurance through the company to protect against damage. However, getting the damage addressed was not a simple process. It ultimately required me to have a contractor come out, assess the damage, and provide a written estimate before the company would cover the full amount of the insurance I had purchased. I did make management aware of what happened. The explanation I received was that they were understaffed and hot, as though those circumstances explained or excused the way I and my belongings were treated. Being understaffed or working in the heat does not justify disrespecting a customer's home, belongings, property, or boundaries. As a veteran and healthcare professional, I have always believed in treating people and their property with respect, professionalism, and dignity. I expect the same when I hire a company to come into my home and handle everything I have worked hard for. This experience was far beyond simply having a few things damaged during a move. It was the overall lack of professionalism, respect, care, and consideration that made this experience so upsetting. I gave Evolution Movers a second opportunity based on my previous experience with the company. I sincerely regret that decision. I cannot recommend Evolution Movers based on my experience. If you are considering hiring them, I strongly encourage you to ask very specific questions about how they handle property, damage, employee conduct, and customer complaints before trusting them with your home and belongings.

Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. I was initially told that the company offered a healthcare/first-responder discount. Later, I was told that it did not, but that a military discount would be substituted. When I questioned the unexpected charges, the original representative who sold me the job suggested that perhaps the discount should be taken away because I was upset about the bill. I found that comment extremely unprofessional. Afterward, that representative would not take my call. I had to call multiple times before I was finally able to speak with a "Raving Fans" representative about my concerns. This made an already frustrating situation even more difficult.
