The gentlemen they sent out were very nice and did the best they could with what they had. The hoses on their machine kept breaking apart sending insulation EVERYWHERE. In the house, into the garage, into the car. what a mess. Time after time this happened. They spent more time cleaning up the mess then actually doing the job. I don't blame the gentlemen doing the job as they were sent out with faulty equipment. There is more to the appointment and I will have to finish in another post. Never again will we use Barrier Insulation

After recovering from the sticker shock, I began searching for alternatives. I happened upon All State Insulation's favorable Yelp reviews, and did a little research (i.e. Better Business Bureau, Registrar of Contractors, et cetera). I then contacted All State's owner, Tony, for a bid. I was pleasantly surprised with the proposed cost and engaged him to perform the work. Briefly put, Tony was on time, effective and efficient. I was so pleased with his performance and candor that I also engaged him to restore the insulation at my mother's home. He was a fraction of the cost of the big shops, much easier as to scheduling, and did not attempt to over-sell the project. I heartily recommend All State.

I compared all the options and chose blown‑in rockwool because 12 inches gives R‑49, compared to about R‑22 with spray foam. Both crews were great. The demo crew cleared out the old insulation and prepped the attic. The install crew put in the radiant barrier and the rockwool. They were tough, trustworthy, and respectful of my home. They kept the dust down, protected everything inside, and cleaned up afterward. They did solid work and I'd hire them again without hesitation.

The A/C tune-up was never scheduled or performed, so a month later, I had my A/C rep do the spring servicing. He went into the attic and took these photos of shoddy work (see below). I asked for photos and had questions about the blower device they installed, but never heard back on my emails or voicemails. BTW - no text access to this company. The work was partially done but no follow-up provided.

Not only did you install a low end water heater in our home, but Jonathan didn't feel like nor had the proper tools with him in his truck to fix our water heater leak and pawned it off to have a handyman fix it and then proceeded to tell us it's just a TPT Valve issue. Our handyman spend hours trying to fix this problem taking multiple trips to ace hardware, he couldn't fix it. So, we then had to have a plumber come out (another additional cost on top of paying our handyman) to replace our water heater completely because that was the issue the entire time. We are in this situation now because of your company and I'm livid. You should really cover all these additional charges we had to fork over to our handyman and plumber as this water heater you installed is still under warranty. The water heater your company installed is busted and this was your responsibility to fix in the first place. Very poor company. We spent 10K making our home "energy efficient" and you don't have the decency to replace our water heater when it's under warranty and also THATS YOUR JOB! What a scam!
