They park their safelite van right on the corner of Grant and 28 in such a way that its nearly impossible to see past when trying to make a right turn onto Grant (to head south) from 28. Several times I've been at the red light trying to turn right and nearly got into an accident because their van blocks the view of traffic that is heading south on Grant. So, I guess I'd give 4 stars for the service and minus 3 stars for creating a safety issue with thier free advertising technique.

She showed me the tint displays and explained the different options/coatings available. I needed some hand holding, so we went in the parking lot and she pointed out the cars and what percentage tint each had--this was extremely helpful and made it really clear as to what to expect. They have pricing clearly displayed. They had quick availability for scheduling, but since it was close to the end of the day, they offered to put everyone on the job and get it done for me same day (took about 45 minutes but 3 of them were working together). They invite you back for any air bubbles that haven't resolved within a week--I had one and it dried out and went away within two days--part of the cutting process. Also, they put a sticker over your window buttons because you cannot roll them down for 3-5 days after the install--no drive throughs allowed, haha!

To be fair, the $1900 estimate came from a place with a "show room" displaying various models of units and speakers, which is something Sound Tech and Tint doesn't provide. But what they did provide was the same end result, for about 40% less! I saved over $700. In addition to that, the guys at Sound Tech were much more personable than the Sudley Road guy, and they took the time to break down and explain the costs line by line beforehand. After the fact, they took the time to familiarize me with my new system by sitting with me and answering any and all questions I had, which was much appreciated since I was new to CarPlay. I have no hesitation in recommending them!

BIG MISTAKE, they completely FUBAR'd the job and wouldn't stand behind their work. After a call to John it was determined that a cheap quality aftermarket window was used and would most likely need to be replaced with a new OEM window. John located a window and I brought the truck to him and he did a fantastic job . From now on I will be scheduling any Auto Glass repairs to coincide with our trips to Virginia. Yes folks, they are that good and reasonable that I will drive 650 miles to get it repaired before I'll let another company do it.

I checked out TJ Autoglass - they said they could fit me in that day and that they had the replacement window in stock. When I came over - the technician went out to my truck with me to inspect the window in question. After looking at the "crack," he advised it is just a scratch on the glass - and not a crack. He advised that they could replace the window if I wanted - but it was not a safety issue. I appreciated their honesty and candor - and declined to move forward with the replacement. #TJAutoglass
