Went here for lunch at least once a week once we found out about it. It's big open space inside that has a bar and plenty of tables. It can get a little loud at times with it being so open and having the bar with a game on. The menu isn't that big but everything on it was made well. The pizza was always a big slice that was thin and had a little bit of a crisp to it and had a good amount of toppings. Salads were a good size as well even for the small ones and always seemed to be fresh ingredients. Sandwiches were really good I recommend the meatball sandwich. Everyone that worked here were as friendly and we always enjoyed talking with them. Don't let the outside of the restaurant fool you as it looks like a big barn and we drove by several times and didn't realize it was such a great place. read more

One of our friends suggested we try The Buck, it's in four corners just outside of Bozeman. We got too go and had a beer while we waited for the calzone to be ready. The on-tap beer selection has local beers along with national beers. We got home to enjoy the calzone and, wow it was delicious. It is filled with great quality ingredients, and filled with those ingredients to the max. The barn is open and welcoming. They have high-top table and tables. Stopped in The Buck with a buddy for some dinner while in Bozeman and I'm sure glad we did! This establishment is amazing, to say the least. They offer a full bar and tons of items on their menu. I went for the Hawaiian style pizza and a couple of Modelo's. The pizza was probably one of the best pizzas that I've had in a very long time. I honestly think the sauce they use is what made the pizza so great. The staff were all super friendly and the restaurant was well-kept, even in the middle of dinner rush. Boy do we miss Buffalo Bump! First, other reviews have mentioned the overwhelming haze of smoke when you walk in the door. Obviously their ovens aren't ventilated properly or exhaust fans aren't working. Second, the CONSTANT LOUD BANGING is f'ing annoying. Came in for dinner and our receipt was time stamped 5:58 pm....we ordered an appetizer and a small pizza ($32!!!!!). At 6:26 pm when we still hadn't gotten our APPETIZER, I went to the register and asked what was going on. One of the very young kids behind the counter told me he would go check on it. He came back and said the appetizer was just getting ready to go in the oven. When I complained further, someone a little older than a 16-year-old came up and told me their pizza takes 25 minutes to cook (not that they tell you that when you order). I told her "it's been almost 30 MINUTES and we still didn't have our appetizer which hadn't even gone in the oven." We asked for a refund and left. What a shithole. Please, save your time and money and skip this dump. You'd get better service from Joe Biden read more

Super bummed to say, but my last 3 orders here have been so bad I've taken them back. I was refunded for 1 and had to wait a couple weeks for a manager to go in the system and refund it because there wasn't one working. I had to call several times to make sure it happened. Pizza should not be burnt and doughy at the same time. It's really not rocket science but I feel like either the oven isn't set at the right temp or the kids just haven't been properly trained. I kept giving this place a shot once a month or so, but I think I'm done. Shame because I live in 4 corners. read more

The food, when properly prepared, is outstanding. The trouble they have is it's never consistent. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks and pizza rolls as an appetizer. The service was prolonged, and the bartender was high. She had no business being behind the bar. The Moscow mule had so much lime juice in it that it was difficult to drink. She even asked if it had too much lime and was told yes, way too much, and she thanked us so she knows next time, with no offer to make it right. The pizza rolls came out black / burned on all sides of them: top and bottom. We couldn't believe they served them. Walker and the team at the Buck are some of the most wonderful Individuals I've worked with. incredible food, excellent pay and hours, and support and training beyind most restaurants. FYI entitled one- your ONE faithful day of service in our restaurant to turn around and make excuses to not show up for day two as well as leaving such trash for a review is pretty unprofessional and disgusting. first- when you work for ANYONE LEGALLY- you have to provide your social security number and personal information. Id be interested to hear how many jobs you have lost due to your lack of integrity or ethics. glad I don't have to share a shift with you!! read more

I got a 4" cheese steak which came with a disappointingly skimpy portion of meat and veggies that didn't justify the $2 an inch price tag. Very pleased with this restaurant. The staff was patient as we decided what we wanted having never been there before and trying to wrangle out rambunctious 4 year old son. We ended up ordering a 16 inch half and half pizza, half bacon half cheese. TBH I was eerie that the menu described the cheese pizza as ricotta and mozzarella but boy was I wrong! The pizza was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The cheese had a slight browning to it and the crust was as fluffy and airy. . I loved that the restaurant served alcohol but it didn't give off the bar vibe and still felt Kid friendly. The outdoor dining area with a playhouse for kids was an added plus. Best place for pizza outside of New York! Whether you're a local or just stopping by after skiing, this place will warm your belly and your heart. Laid back, fun vibe but the staff is perfectly attentive and make great recommendations for drinks. The bathrooms are always clean too. Everyone from the cooks to the guests are having a good time. This place is truly genuine. They don't put on airs. You feel welcome and might even make a few friends at the bar. While on a trip through Montana, Belgrade became the spot where we would stay a night. Wanted an unknown type of food but knew that when we found a place with cold beer, the food would be the deciding factor. Searched for about 15 minutes and on our way to The Garage in Bozeman spied a billboard for The Buck. "Get Bucked" it said. It was a bit closer and pizza seemed like a good choice. We ordered a Large "The Buck" pizza and a pitcher of Baringia Pilsner from New Hokkaido Brewing. Maybe a little on the loud side, but the place had a great atmosphere and the crew so far was awesome. Baringia was a new beer to us but a pleasant surprise. Excellent beer. The pizza looked amazing when it arrived at the table and tasted just as good when it hit the palate. We decided we needed another pitcher of the Baringia but while waiting on the bar tender noticed him pouring a nice looking beer I had to ask about. It was Dirt Church Hazy India Pale Ale from Bitter Root Brewing. I guess we will try our luck at another beer.
