Food was fantastic!! We make this style of pizza regularly at home, so it's great to find a restaurant that does it really well! Full size pizza is pretty thin, so it's doesn't feel like it's a heavy meal. Ask for dressing on the side for your salad- mine was a bit overdressed. Atmosphere was good- cool history & building. What in the actual hell has happened to this restaurant? My family and I have been coming to Pizza Campania since they opened in the 2000s. Special occasions, family dinners, and lunches. We came in on Tuesday and it was one of the worst and weirdest dining experiences we've ever had in Bozeman. We got there around 1:00, were seated immediately and waited 15 minutes for a server to welcome us in with water. We've worked as servers and it would have been fine but there were only two other tables besides ours. Our server was pushy and she was instantly irritated with us for some reason. We ordered calamari to start and three pizzas with some substitutions (after asking if they could do substitutions) that we were happy to pay extra for. We got the calamari after about a half hour, at about 1:45, and it was really tough. It had definitely been frozen, but was poorer quality than what we've had in the past. The usual lemon remoulade/aioli was also a let down from what they have served in the past. A little after 2:00, we asked about the status of our pizzas. The woman helping us snapped at my mom, "Go ask the chefs in the back! You can ask them how much longer it's gonna take!" I have worked in the service industry and my sister is a full-time industry worker in town. She seemed irritated at the cooks, and was being a bit sarcastic, still, we were shocked. We finally got our pizzas at 2:30, an hour and a half after we arrived. It seemed like the dough had changed and the pizza was definitely oilier than it had been before. The fennel sausage and prosciutto were lower quality than they've served in the past: greasy, saltier and less flavorful. Our server was, at best, odd and at worst snappy and rude. She didn't bring us enough napkins or plates or ever ask about refills. It was a very uncomfortable and disappointing dining experience. We're bummed about our spot! read more

Disappointed in the carryout service, particularly due to the lack of kindness. We ordered 6 pizzas and 2 salads for pick-up. Caesar salad was good, but pricing for portion was underwhelming. Pizzas were unique flavoring pairings which I did enjoy. One pizza had chili oil I believe that was much spicier than anticipated. Overall, I think I'd pass on coming again for service reasons & pricing/portions. read more

We stopped by for lunch with our two boys. We were greeted warmly and sat immediately. We ordered the mozzarella bastoni, two kids pepperoni pizzas which are a great size probably could have shared one. My husband and I split the Gladiatore and it was delicious, crispy thin crust, ample toppings but the sausage was my favorite and a hint of spice with the serranos. What has happened to our favorite pizza place?? The pizza has changed so that it's like Pizza Hut!! I loved the crispy crust, light oil and light topping they used to have. Not the greasy cheese heavy I got. A good server can make or break a dining experience. This server broke it. After 1.5 hours of sitting I asked how close the pizzas were to done, I'm diabetic and didn't plan on a two hour wait for food. She snapped at me and told me to ask the kitchen. Didn't bother to refill water or bring the right number of plates. Bozeman has so many other dining options. We won't be back. read more

One of the main reasons we kept coming back is because you offered an alternative to pizza -- meatballs -- which was perfect for the people in our group who can't eat or don't like pizza. I had a deeply uncomfortable experience here. From the moment I walked in, I was stared at and ignored, while other customers who arrived after me were served immediately. The service was not only slow but felt intentionally dismissive. To make matters worse, the staff is uninformed about ADA laws. When I asked about my service dog, they attempted to require a vest and "proof," which is legally not required. Being harassed and profiled while trying to go about my day is unacceptable. We LOVE Pizza Campania! So much so it has become a bit of a family tradition, my two year requests that we go to "the pizza shop" at least once a week. The service is phenomenal, everyone is so nice and accommodating and the food is even better! read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza's. Nice selection of artisan choices. Fresh ingredients were obvious. I also liked their beer selection. Not only did they showcase a variety of Montana beers but many world beers too. My husband had 1/2 Caesar salad and pizza. I thought the salad was very garlicky. I love Caesar salads but not this one. However my husband didn't share my view and enjoyed it. Our visit to pizza Campania started out rough with a mix up with our order. However, the delicious pizza more than made up for this poor service. My personal favorites were the pig & fig and the Mela. I highly recommended putting a balsamic glaze on the Mela pizza. Based on the other reviews, I think we came on an off night. Our waitress forgot to deliver my husband's drink and -- we assume -- our pizza. We started with a Fico Capri salad that was okay, not great, thanks to the vinaigrette that tasted more like straight lemon juice. We then waited ages for the rest of our meal while patrons who arrived well after us were served. When we inquired about the whereabouts of our pizza, another server delivered our pie, which was cold. The Sergio (bison sausage, mushrooms, onions, and pancetta) had potential, but was only okay. While traveling, we stopped for lunch. So glad we did. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors because it was such a nice day. Our server greeted us with a carafe of water. I got the lunch special: three slices of pizza and a salad. I chose the pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions (and opted for no pepperoni). Our server, who was so pleasant, offered me to substitute, so I opted to have extra mushrooms. My husband got pepperoni pizza. They are oven-baked with a nice, thin, crisp crust. My pizza came out on the same plate as the pizza which was fine because I don't usually get dressing. My server noticed the cook did not put extra mushrooms on the pizza, so he offered to sauté some for me! We both enjoyed our pizza! The salad consisted of spring greens, cherry tomatoes cut in half, and excellent crisp cucumbers in small pieces. Very refreshing. I wish we had one in our hometown! read more

One of the best wood fired pizza restaurants in Bozeman! The ambiance is amazing, the service is excellent, and the food is scrumptious. I got the pig and fig, the pairing of the fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese is so delicious! It's a unique flavor I have not seen on pizza, but it's definitely a must try. The crust is also not lacking in flavor, it was very fluffy and tasteful. Our waiter Andrew was everything and more, even though we arrived 30 minutes until closing he was attentive, quick, and happy to help with a smile on his face. We were there over lunch, and asked the waiter for some additional descriptions... once he mentioned the lunch specials... 1/2 a 12 inch pizza (two types) and a mixed greens salad...tossed with different dressings... i opted for gorgonzola dressing... it was exquisite. We have been here several times. The pizza is very good. The restaurant is small and doesn't take reservations. I arrived with my three kids and was told that there would be at least a 30 minute wait. We asked if we could order pizza to go then. The waitress said yes, go to the back and order our pizza there. As soon as we ordered we were told it would be at least a 30 minute wait for our pizzas to be done. I said we might as well eat it hot and at a table then, so can we eat here? She told me to go tell the other waitress that's what our plan was. I was added to the waitlist waited about 30 minutes, and we were seated. She asked what we wanted and I said we had already ordered in the back and we're waiting for that pizza to be done. She said you can't do that. Our policy is that they are two separate entities if you order from the back, you can't eat it here. I said OK well we will just take our pizza to go then. The waitress in the back said she canceled our order because we were going to sit at a table. So now we had to start the 30 minutes all over again. This may not have been an issue most of the time, but I had three kids with me. I'm not familiar with the internal policies of Pizza Campania, but I think it would've been fair to allow me to eat pizza that I had paid for at a table that I had waited for instead we had neither a pizza nor a table, and it was late, so we left. The waitresses weren't horrible, but also were not understanding or apologetic. They squarely placed the blame on me, and maybe it was my fault, but I've never worked in a restaurant and didn't know about this type of policy. This must be the worst pizza I've ever eaten, starting with Chef Boy ar Dee. Ordered a tomato sauce, Proscuitto, and arugala to go. When I arrived home I discovered underdone crust, probably 5 to 10 times the tomato sauce needed on a neapolitan pizzza, big slices of tough proscuitto that were impossible to bite through so they just slid off the soupy mess of pizza. In addition the arugula was in a separate box, undressed. Fortunately I could add Evoo and vinegar at home. The thing was such a mess I just threw it away after a few bites Just because you have a pizza oven doesn't mean you know how to make a neapolitan pizza. Honestly this could have qualified as deep dish Chicago pizza but not neapolitan. I don't understand what happened since I had a pretty decent pizza from here a few years ago. Traveling for work and needed to grab something and head to the hotel. I thought the review photos were nice and the menu was definitely interesting. My coworker agreed to go so we went and ordered. I got a Sergio and a cannoli. The pizza was really good. I enjoyed every bite. My coworker got the pepperoni and in the car he opened the box to check on it and his looked really good. Mine did too when I got to the hotel. However, the cannoli... not so much. The filling was unlike any that I have had before (not in a good way) and the whole thing had a hint of something minty. Not sure how that happened to be but although not horrible enough to throw in trash as another reviewer did (which that was the reason I had to try it, surely it couldn't be that bad?). I have eaten here a few times at this this point and every time I eat here I want to come back for every meal! The staff is always incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I like to ask for recommendations and so far I have not been disappointed... even the gluten free crust was great. My favorite pie is the molta carne and the calamari is delicious as well. I have ordered takeout once before and the pick up time was reasonable. When I arrived I wanted to add something to the order and the lady helping me was so awesome. She brought the added items out to my car within 5 minutes. Again, I cannot say enough good things about the service or the food. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the option to eat on the patio is something you can't beat.
