One more automotive business to add to my "trusted" list. Over the weekend I was in Parker, we had a day full of appointments and when I got in to start my car, the battery was dead. We contacted Parker Automotive because they were recommended by AAA. They met me at my location, changed the battery and we were on our way. The gentleman who helped was super friendly, even though it was an oppressively hot day, the battery was fairly priced and I feel good knowing that we found another service repair shop for our cars. read more

First, they charge a $183 "diagnostic fee" even if you go ahead and have them do the work. Most shops will only charge you if you don't use their services. Then they add on a 3% credit card surcharge as though you should have thousands in cash sitting in your wallet. No shop I have ever dealt with has charged me extra for using a credit card. Business practices like these are unsavory IMO... save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I had a 2018 Jeep Cherokee misfiring and researched all automotive repair shops in Parker. After extensive research I determined the best option for repairs was Parker automotive. I took it in and met the owner phillip and others. They immediately repaired my misfiring and I even waited for two hours to get it back. They did it very cost effective and I would recommend Parker automotive to anyone in or outside of Parker to use for any repairs. They are absolutely the best automotive repair in Parker. read more

i brought my car here a few months ago for a transmission problem. it had all the signs of transmission problems (rpm's acting crazy, slipping and catching gears, lurching, etc) and i explained that to the owner. the man who towed my car there knew the owner, and he also explained what was going on when he drove my car up the tow truck. i get a call the next day from the owner saying that nothing was wrong with the transmission, and that i had acted like "it was the end of the world" when i brought my car in. he said it had something to do with the rotors getting stuck in my strut. said it'd be $1400 to fix. so i okayed the fix. i pick the car up and immediately know that the issue is still very present. did they even test drive my car?? transmission issues are pretty obvious with a drive around the block. anyways, so i take the car back. they look at it again. they call me and say "we looked more into it and there IS an internal issue with the transmission and needs to be replaced." they quoted me $8000. not a "sorry for making you pay 1400 to fix the wrong thing". not discount. not anything. i find it insane how when they first "looked" at it, they say the transmission was totally fine. i bring it back THE NEXT DAY and all the sudden my transmission needs to be replaced. 1400 for nothing. i took it to parker gear and transmission and they found the problem within MINUTES. they quoted me half the price to fix it. now car works great. don't go here. they'll half-ass diagnose your car. overcharge you. and screw you over. read more

I got my brakes replaced a while back, including pads and rotors at Parker Automotive. Pros - They got my repairs done quickly, and also gave me a lift home and back to the shop which was convenient. Cons - They dramatically overcharged me, both in parts and labor. After I researched the parts online they used, I found they charged me 1.5x-2x the price. Their labor was probably charged 'by the book' at 1.5 hours, and I know professionals generally can replace brakes within 30-45 minutes - so I overpaid both per hour (labor is $138/hr), and they charged me 90 minutes. If you're content paying about $600 for a straight forward brake job, this is the right place for you. If that seems like too much, it is - and you may want to consider somewhere else. They won't sell you what you don't need, when they charge so much extra that they don't need to. read more

This is a very stand up garage. I was desperate and got a quote from a chain here in Parker. They seemed very corporate and knowledgeable. The quote was outrageous on top of testing fee. I made a few calls in Parker and saved hundreds of dollars. Going through PARKER AUTOMOTIVE My car ended up fixed and ready same day. I didn't meet the technician but HOLLY was amazing! I took my truck to Parker Automotive after having some issues with a dealership and had an amazing experience here. Right out of the gate, Holly knew what she was talking about and was able to get me scheduled for the same week. When I came to drop my truck off, I was given a time frame for when my truck would be ready and offered a ride to wherever I needed to go. I decided to sit and wait for my truck to be done as it would only be a couple of hours, everyone was friendly and professional. WHO DOES THIS?! Broken parts and other parts were taken off and put into my trunk? Excuse me, what? This is ridiculous after I had to pay for something that didn't work this is what they do? And now I have more and I'm just now seeing this because no one would think that spare parts and broken parts would end up in your trunk after taking it to an auto shop. My car broke down after my Costco run I called roadside assistance and they where going to tow me to the nearest Midas. So glad my husband found Parker Automotive! My car was towed there and Adam was a great help. They closed at 5:30 but stay after hours to wait for my car. Late morning the next day they called and told us it was the fuel pump. Ahh! Luckily, my husband purchased the extended warranty for my car and it was covered, phew! Adam worked with the warranty company and we only paid the deductible. My car was ready the next morning a little over a day after going into the shop. Adam gave us a quote for other minor things my car needs but was never pushy about getting them done. I just got a vehicle inspection done here and I couldn't be happier. The techs were friendly and they truly didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. I am taking a road trip to California and back and wanted to make sure my truck (with over 100k miles on it) was in good enough shape for the trip. The inspection was done earlier than expected, they gave me a list of minor issues that weren't a major concern, and when I went to pick up my truck they said. "Merry Christmas, no charge." My 2006 Toyota Tundra with 272,000 miles had a coolant system blowout on the road on my way to work, so my first step was to Yelp a garage near my home in Parker. Based on reviews I chose Parker Automotive. Had the truck towed there and they immediately looked at it. The staff was excellent and the next day had a list of things that needed fixed, along with the radiator. With a no pressure conversation I was quoted a repair plan and price. It wasn't expensive nor was it cheap, but definitely reasonable. After three days I picked up the truck and it drove so much better than before. Had been going to another shop in the area trying to get my car fixed. Every time I went it was "something else" and at an additional cost. I finally went to Parker Automotive and they took a look and said it is most likely my sway bar. Well that did the trick, I was expecting a huge bill but that didn't happen. The cost of repairs not only for the sway bar but the brakes and an alignment were incredibly affordable and much less than what I had been paying at other shops. I found this business online and just lucked into getting a great service. I needed two things done to my car before I delivered it to my son to have as his car. I described the issues, they fixed the first one (a plastic cover under the car by the right front tire), and then asked me to drive the car and let them hear the growl in the engine. I drove it, they heard it, and determined what was wrong and repaired it. They were fast, efficient, and only charged me under $40 for the whole repair. There was also a 24 month warrant provided. They were extremely polite, nice, friendly, and professional. I met the owners, and had a nice visit with them, as well as the young man who assisted me. I brought my Honda Civic in here to get my AC compressor replaced. 10 days and less then a 110 miles driving the car it broke down on me once again. I called them and asked if they would offer to pay for a tow truck back to their place since it was the same problem. They told me I should take it to a different shop and were unwilling to fix their mistake. I then had to have 2 certified mechanics tell me that the mechanics at Parker Automotive did not tighten two of the bolts at all and they stripped one of the bolts on my alternator. Parker Automotive offered zero refund for their irresponsible work. Take your car here if you don't want the problem fixed! read more

Parker automotive was recommended to me by my dad, and I'm glad I listened! My dad started bringing all our family cars there, and when my car started acting up my dad told me to give Dan a call at Parker Automotive. I called on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving needing a turn signal replaced and needing my check engine light to be checked out, and they said they could see me immediately. I couldn't bring it in till Wednesday, and when I did they told me they'd try to get it back to me asap. I was very understanding with Thanksgiving being the next day, hoping maybe they'd be able to get to my car by Friday. Sure enough, on Friday afternoon (when they said they would call me) they called to let me know that my car was ready. They fixed my turn signal, fixed the check engine problem, and explained everything to me. They didn't treat me like an idiot because I'm a woman who doesn't know as much as they do about cars (which happens to me ALL THE TIME at other car places). Dan was very friendly and I appreciate him telling me what was wrong with my car and what I should do in the future. I brought my truck here a few months ago to get a window motor fixed. They were not very quick and had not so good communication through the process. Finally after a few days they called with their diagnosis, saying my master switch was the source of the problem. I had explain to them that the switch had already been replaced twice and that it was not the problem and might be broken wires in the door jam, but instead of using the information I had given they proceeded to change the switch (Not a cheap item might I add). When I went to pick my truck up I was told by who I assume was the owner/manager that everything had been complete, I was told not test the switch until the glass from the previously broken window had been cleaned out from the regulator as it might impede the motor from working. So what do I do? I went and tested the brand new switch that has been replaced three times now and as I had expected nothing worked. When everything was said and done I was out about $275 (for a master window switch). Needless to say I do not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I took my SUV in for some work, told them brakes were making a bunch of noise. They replaced front brakes. When I picked it up and drove away , same screeching noise. Unbelievable! Took to another shop next day and they said the rear brakes were completely shot . Needless to say we will never return. If they keep this up they will go out if business! read more

Dealership quoted me $1600 to replace a bearing and several other (cosmetic) issues. I asked if they would not replace the cosmetic stuff and they refused. took it to Parker Auto and they replaced the parts that needed replacing and it cost me $200. I called Parker Automotive to see if they would give me an estimate on repairing the air conditioner in my 1999 Prizm. They said they would and had me bring the 1999 Chevy Prizm to the shop and they give me an estimate. I talked to Adam and told him , being the car is so old I would have them work on it only if it was under $200.00. After checking the car they told me It would cost $196.16. I told them to go ahead and fix it. After they worked on it, the air conditioner blew cold air at first, but started getting warmer and warmer after a few days. After I took the car back in and they looked it over again. After a short time, Adam told me it would cost another $1800.00 to get it working . When I said I already paid to have it repaired and it was not fixed, and remind him I paid the $196.16. He said he was mistaken telling me it would cost $1800.00, and he meant $800.00. I told him previously during the initial appointment I only wanted to have repairs done if repair could be done for $200.00 or less. Adam agreed to the $200.00 ( the car was not worth spending more than $200.00). I tried to reason with him, but after he talked to the owner, Adam told me if I wanted it fixed, it would be $800.00 more. The warranty they gave me was 90 days or 3,000 Miles. I had only driven the car 486 miles in the next 56 days. I returned to Parker Automobile July 22nd for warranty work. I am pretty careful , so I tried to get an honest deal originally and took them at their word. This last conversation with Adam, seemed so scripted and rehearsed, that I had the impression Adam knew I would be coming back. I also had charged the air conditioner using A/C refrigerent and dye before originally taking the car to them, so the mechanics would see the any leaks. According to Adam all they had done on the first visit was fixed a used hose fitting and recharged the A/C system. I am out $196.16 and the air conditioner doesn't work (same as before). I am only happy I didn't let Adam talk me into another $800.00 or $1800.00, because he sure tried to do that, by telling me "The car was worth it". read more

My 2004 4Runner was in dire need of an alignment, so after reading the reviews on them, I decided I would give them a try. My appointment was at 1pm. I showed up a few minutes early and they got me in right away. 50 minutes later, my car was ready to go. I live about 30 minutes from their shop and while driving home I was amazed at the job they did. I am very meticulous and critical when I pay someone to work on my car, but the steering wheel was perfectly aligned while driving straight and the car did not pull either direction. This was amazing to me because my tires on the front we pretty badly worn from the Toe being almost 10 degrees out. I also had a little vibration at the steering wheel which I attributed to the worn tires and that wasn't there either after their work. I called them up even before I got home and talked to Dan to let him know how much I appreciated their attention to detail and how nice my car drove after their work. I have lived in Colorado since 1979 and I swear I haven't had an alignment that good since I've lived here. I have already let a couple of my friends know how well they treated me and that is THE place to go for an alignment! I'm certain their other work is quality also. While I was there another, long time customer came in. He said that he had been trying to get air in a tire and drove around to 3 places where they had those portable compressor stations and none of them were working so he stopped in to see if they would take care of it real quick. So they did and he waited for it. He was out in 10 minutes. While he was sitting their, he told me that he had been coming here for over 30 years and he will not go anywhere else. Parker automotive is run by good honest people who care that customers get what they pay for and are happy after they leave. I met 4 of their people while I was there and they all treated me like I was 1st priority. I am telling everyone I know about them and I recommend them to anyone who likes their cars worked on right and wants to be treated fairly and cordially. Best place in Colorado that I have seen yet!
