The ambience and vibes are always 10/10, with not one but two Ami jukeboxes you can control music from the bowling alley or the cushion lounge bar. The cushion lounge has recently been redone and tricked out with Detroit memorabilia as well as brand new diamond pool tables. These pool tables are the nicest pool tables in Oakland county hands down. If you want a bowling alley/bar that sums up how cool Oxford Michigan is collier lanes/cushion lounge is the place for you.

If you're not wanting to spend top dollar for your kids party, then this would be a good option. The kids had a blast, the staff was polite & overall we were pleased with the day. However, here are a few warnings... They are clearly understaffed. You, as the host, will be facilitating all aspects of your party. Do not expect any customer service beyond the bare minimum. They said they would call 3 days before the party to confirm head count & menu, they never called. I called all day 2 days prior, finally made one last call before heading there in person & they finally answered. During the party, I had to basically take care of everything. Never once did anyone come and ask if we needed anything. I had to walk away from our party, find an available staff member (which usually ment waiting in a line) & ask for them for every single thing. To bring pitchers of drinks (if refills were needed I had to go to the bar & get them refilled myself), the food was late coming out so I had to go find a person to bring out the food (it had clearly been sitting in the back, it was barely warm), etc. Do not expect to be sitting and enjoying your kids during their party or socializing with guests very much, you will be making sure everything is being handled & walking around looking for staff or waiting in line. I will say, all of my interactions with staff were polite and positive. They are handling the chaos of the place very well. At the end of the day, it was nice to not have to clean up or have a party at our home, but I don't feel I was able to really enjoy my guests or experience the party with my kids because I was running around making sure everything was being taken care of. My advice to the bowling alley would be to assign a host/staff member specifically to facilitate all the parties to make sure everything is running smoothly. Actually check on your guests who are spending hundreds of dollars in your business. A little customer service could go a long way.

The problem is the way the lanes are oiled. Even though they use an oiling machine the programming is messed. Every week the shot has been inconsistent. While bowling in leagues we all averaged between 195 to 215. We dropped out of the league due to the late finishes in the evening. We keep our own averages & everyone has dropped to the 180's. This does not make the experience enjoyable to the average or below average bowler. This should be addressed. Personally I have been around bowling for over 30 years and have never seen such inconsistency.

The food is pretty good considering it's bowling alley food, but it does have a bar and if you are having a party they have a service for that too. I have been there many times even when I'm not playing with my league. Very friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. Overall, two thumbs up. Even more if I had any. Check it out. They even have a store where you can buy your own bowling ball and have it fitted for you.

One of the pool tables is too close to the video games and some tables for drinks. One of the tables has a bit of a slant to it and when you shoot a ball it does not go straight. There is no rake so forget using that to make the hard shots right now. There was only one rack for two tables and it is broken. I'm getting sick of going there and having very substandard equipment. If this goes on much longer I won't be back. The felt on one table is ripped and it could have been repaired quite a while back. There's a nice VR game there but the headset has a messed up strap. Last time I was there it was broken so only one of the two positions was usable to play. They did some ghetto fix for it but it's really not up to par. When that place is busy it's packed and I know they have the money for maintenance. There's no reason for this.
