I asked the worker what kind of business is this and he said it's a liquidation store. I've never heard of it but they buy items from big retailers when the shelf life has expired. After the worker, took the item of the box for me to inspect, he asked if I wanted to look around. I was very curious of what they had to sell. It seems like most of the items are brand new and at very low price. I only went there to spend $50 on one item, but left with four more items spending $106 if you pay cash; otherwise, it would had been $126 for card. It was definitely a good buy day and I will be returning.

My family came here a month and a half ago to purchase a TEMPUR Mattress and Base. He made us feel like this purchase was super safe and that we had a lot of options so we shouldn't be concerned. Flash forward a month and a half, we feel that the mattress is too firm/not comfortable for sleeping overnight. We've had guests over who like firm mattresses and they also said they would wake up multiple times in the middle of the night. We called to see if we could exchange to the Medium Hybrid and they said we would need to pay $250 to exchange and it would become final sale. This made us very hesitant as we were now no longer confident that we would be happy even if we switched the mattress. This was also not specified when we bought the mattress that the exchange would become final sale. After a lot of thought and considering the mattress is thousands of dollars, we decided to return as a whole. They then told us that we cannot return the base. This felt super misleading because as a customer, why would we want to keep the base if we aren't getting the mattress? They said that it's because it's compatible with other mattresses but that's also assuming that you are getting a foam mattress elsewhere. In the end to return, they subtract any discounts you got on other items (even though you are forced to still keep a purchase of thousands of dollars) and have to pay the $250 restocking fee. They make the idea of returning complicated and unattractive which was the exact opposite vibe when we purchased. I ultimately did not appreciate this experience or sales practice because it felt misleading to only disclose positive parts and none of the negative parts when we explicitly asked about the return policy. He mentioned that it was on the receipt which is provided AFTER the purchase is made. I would not recommend buying from Mattress Firm at all. Save yourself the headache.
