Good bagels, great service Was in the area and was looking to bring in some bagels for the guys in the shop. This place was rated well, so I made the trek. It's a nice little shop in a plaza. I was greeted warmly and the phone orders were starting to roll in. I ordered a bakers dozen of bagels, going for a mix of the standard plain and everything, to the exotic French toast and the cheddar bacon bagels. I also got a few containers of their cannoli, scallion, garlic, and plain cream cheese. The dozen bagels and smears set me back about 40 bucks. A little pricy but the quality was good, the bagels fresh, and the staff was nice. I rate them a 4 because despite my best efforts, I was unable to actually try them. The 13 or so bagels were placed on the conference table and devoured almost on the spot. A cavalcade of bagel toppings littered the table like glitter on a child's arts and crafts table. The smears were not smeared, but dunked in the cream cheese. Any semblance of order was tossed aside like the paper bag that housed them. The general consensus was that the bagels were good, but I needed to get more next time. Given the battleground scene that played out, I'm slightly reluctant to repeat. So I can't say if they are good, but I can say that they are a bit messy and are a little pricy if serving a crowd. read more

Local bagel place in small town of Southern Jersey. My husband and I were visiting Camden and exploring new cities around Philly then encountered this cute bagel place. At first I was not sure what to or how to order but staffs were very friendly explaining how it works. It was simple enough but they had different unique flavored cream cheeses to choose from. I grew up in Jersey so this type of local shop hits home. I enjoyed their warm bagels and hot coffee (given free when you check in on Yelp). Service was really great. Bagels were okay in my opinion. The chocolate chip and French toast were VERY hard. They were difficult to cut and the taste just wasn't there. This is hands down the best bagel shop I've ever been to. I grew up in New York and a bagel for breakfast was a Sunday staple in my house. Today was the second time I got a BEC on a jalapeño everything bagel and it HITS. The bacon was perfectly crispy, when you sink your teeth into the chewy bagel (toasted slightly) you get the perfect ratio of egg, cheese, crispy bacon and doughy bagel. One of my pet peeves is when the everything seasoning falls off the surface of the bagel as you eat your sandwich. This bagel joint could never. The everything seasoning adheres to the bagel and you don't lose flakes of salt, onion, etc. as you eat your breakfast. I cannot recommend this place more. Of note, the people who work here are so approachable and friendly which makes it all the more worthwhile! read more

We ordered 2 bagels through Grubhub for a quick breakfast on the go this morning. 1) an everything bagel with lox, red onions, capers, cream cheese and tomato and 2) a jalapeño bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. The bagels were good, arrived within a reasonable time of ordering (about 20-25 min) bagels were room temperature. Maybe I should have asked for them to be toasted? Doughy homemade bagels! I've had a bunch of the flavors of bagels, but no breakfast sandwiches or drinks. My favorite bagels are plain and sesame, but my children and husband loved the cinnamon raisin. The bagels don't get super brown when toasting, which I don't mind. I can't remember if I've ever had a really good bagel before. But I've had some that I liked,.. And some that were freshly baked right out of the freezer... This place here makes their bagels fresh daily, offer several types of spreads, along with making breakfast and lunch sandwiches.... While I didn't leave speechless and blown away, this is a much better product than what you'll receive from DD, Wawa, or your supermarket... I love supporting places that produce their own products. My husband and I Usually get bagel sandwiches from another place that's close by but they open at 9 AM which I think for a breakfast/bagel spot is strange. So that's what made us try this place which is literally three minutes away from us so I don't know why it took us so long to try it! I got a French toast bagel with bacon egg and cheese, my husband got an everything bagel with steak egg and cheese. The bagels were amazing, so soft and fresh. They do large variety of all different bagels and spreads, sandwiches etc. Were the sandwiches overstuffed and husky, no and while my husband enjoyed his he said he would order something different next time because the steak was "steak um" but nonetheless they were fresh and tasty. The coffee was delicious apparently it's from a local Pennsauken place. But this place gets five stars because the staff was super cool and friendly and they were playing great music. It had good energy, a good vibe to it. You can have the best food ever and miserable staff or you can have decent food and good service and a good feel to the place and that makes all the difference!!! Will definitely be back read more

the bagel wasn't "bad" but can you guys please just make the sandwich like you'd make it for yourself? a bagel with tomato, onions, and cucumber should have it in every bite. this half slice of thin tomato for an entire half a bagel and 4 tiny chunks of onion and 2 cucumber slices is kind of pathetic. on top of that two little slices of turkey bacon - that's it? if you were making this sandwich for yourself at home i guarantee you'd put an adequate amount of toppings on it so please do the same for your customers because this was lowkey shitty. read more

Awful. Employees without gloves touching and cooking food. Guy was counting money then bringing fresh bagels out from the back pressed up against his shirt instead of on a tray. This place has fallen apart in the past few years, used to be really good. Got a Cinnamon raisin bagel, tasted nothing like Cinnamon raisin, there were no raisins in it and I think whoever made it forgot to proof it ( pre-cook to help it rise before baking) thing was dense and flavorless...I don't know how you can even serve something like this. It's only ever two people working and you can tell English isn't their first language but they do it well. They made my Western omelette fresh. Not real happy with this place since new owners took over. I used to come in about 1-2 times a week for lunch for their chicken salad; that's how much I loved it. I don't know if they changed the recipe or maybe they are ordering it premade from a different supplier, but it's awful. Please, please bring back the old chicken salad!
