Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and orange juice
    Rachel G.

This place has so much on their menu! So many unique and fresh cream cheeses. I wish I could try them all. The everything bagel was crispy and scallion cream cheese was just the flavor it should be. It was quick to order and there were tables in there to sit and eat after. Quick bagel cafe. Will be back to try more cream cheese flavors.

Got the Diablo on Pumpernickel and the flavor was absolutely fire but it was not spicy at all... but still very delicious and they give you a ton of avocado which is great

Everything bagel w/ chocolate chip cream cheese

Quick Service and you can get some work done if needed... I had an everything bagel toasted earlier this week w/ chocolate chip cream cheese and I didn't love it. I came back and had the cinnamon raisin bagel w/ roasted apple cinnamon cream cheese toasted and it was a 10/10. $5.25

The blueberry cream cheese is SO GOOD. I was craving it later that day. I originally wanted the Lox, which also hit the spot. But the blueberry cream cheese taste was so smooth and not over powering. I loved how the taste melted in my mouth. Service was quick. I got my food pretty quickly after ordering, even thought there was a line before and after me. I came on a snowy day, but I would definitely love to come on a sunny day. This is a nice quick to-go breakfast/brunch spot. Or a nice sit down bagel spot where I can people watch and enjoy my bagel.

This is my neighborhood bagel shop and it is honestly the best one in the UES! Usually theres a line out the door but they have an efficient process that makes the wait go by very fast. I take all of my visitors here and they always end up wanting to go here more than once on their trips.

The bagel shop is highly praised and was recommended by a lot of different New York travel videos that I watched. I wanted to love this place so badly and came in with high expectations but was honestly pretty disappointed. The bagels themselves were just alright (I feel like I've had better bagels from Costco) and the flavors of each of the sandwiches weren't anything special. When I came, the store was packed, so be prepared to wait in line. There are some seats available but they're very limited and it felt like everyone was hovering over each other to try to get a seat as soon as it became available. Service was friendly though. Overall, for the food and the experience here, I would say it's not worth the visit.

Loved this place. Both were terrific. Chocolate chip bagel with cinnamon raisin was so fun and tasty as a dessert kind of bagel. The everything bagel was so good. I'd come back and try the Doritos next time!

I love this place. Feels like a neighborhood staple, always busy but quick getting your food, TONS of options, the bagels are all really good and fresh, the cream cheese top notch, especially the strawberry and blue berry which actually have real fruit in them. The staff is nice, the other customers are nice. They have lots of seating inside (although it's a bit noisy) and even more seating outside of the wether is nice. Personally only thing I would recommend is the breakfast sandwich, I feel that the cheese isn't melted enough and there is a TON of eggs but not as much meat which is where I feel most the flavor comes from.

    Upper East Sider Sandwich

Food: I got the Upper East Sider sandwich on an everything bagel, which is a classic lox with scallion cream cheese, capers, tomatoes. Although it was relatively pricier, the portion size was yuge. Such plentiful amount of fish and everything was so fresh. The bagel was decent with nice sweetness, chew, and density, but not overly so. Service: Service was great! The cashier was really nice and greeted everyone with a smile. Fast to get the sandwich. Ambiance: Super packed on a Sunday morning, I loved the vibes of this neighborhood UES bagel spot. Simple name with no frills attitude. Everything was clean and seating was plentiful even with so many people around. While it's not the best bagels I've ever had, it is a solid UES spot with great options, fresh ingredients, and good customer service.

I liked how tall and open this place was! There's a pretty extensive menu and there was a constant flow of people. There are some tables inside and more outdoor seating - though the pavement is kind of uneven. I got a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cheesecake ($5.72). I feel like that is reasonably priced compared to other bagel places in NYC. My friend got the Upper East Sider.

    Breakfast Lox Sandwich

This is my go-to bagel shop every time I'm in NYC! I ordered the Loux breakfast bagel sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bagel was fresh, everything was made to order, and the portion size was huge. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend checking this place out. This is the spot for a classic NYC bagel.

Sesame bagel with matcha cream cheese and red bean azuki!
    Alyssa C.

My go to spot for a bagel sandwich in the UES/East Harlem area! I love the bagels at PopUp, but when I crave a sandwich I come here. staff is soo friendly, there is so seating, and it's so much cheaper than Tal! I don't have a go to order, just love trying things so will try to keep a running list. - matcha cream cheese w azuki red bean on sesame bagel is 5/5 and so unique - upper east side lox sandwich was very good, ~$17 - presto pesto was good but would not get again, the egg didn't hit for me, ~ $13

Pumpernickel Tastes so good today with Butter and Cinnamon. From my freezer. 06/06/2020

The Bagel Shop is still a classic and top two of my favorites! I love so many of their huge varieties of cream cheese and bagels, Flagel and bialys. The Olive Pimento and the Pumpernickel Bagels are just two of my go to for a special breakfast treat. If you are visiting NYC make this a to go but be prepared to wait in line if you don't arrive when they first open. I'm highly recommending as usual.

Great bagel sandwiches (sausage egg & cheese was my favorite!) and their iced coffees were amazing! They serve them in plastic/metal sealed containers so they tend to stay cold longer. I tried 3 different coffees in 3 days and they were all great! Service can be a little slow at times because it gets CROWDED in the mornings, but I won't knock them for that. For it being our first time, we were a little confused with the ordering process, and they were so busy that it took a while to be acknowledged. There were kiosks to place the order, but we couldn't find a place to request special requirements, so we had to figure out how we could order at the register amongst the slew of other customers. Our order for 2 bacon egg and cheeses were called with a biscoff iced latte and we were excited at first. But when we opened the sandwiches our bacon was just 3, maybe 4 fatty pieces when we specifically asked for crispy bacon. My husband settled for his, but I requested a reorder where they corrected the bacon issue, and even put more slices. Besides that snafu, I was excited for my latte, but was also underwhelmed by the taste. I assumed since it was a biscoff cookie latte (which I love) that it would be sweeter... The establishment was nice, and there were so many selections, so we would give it another try before writing it off completely.
