New York is known for its bagels and now I fully understand why. I ordered the cinnamon raisin bagel with classic cream cheese and my colleague got the sesame bagel with onion cream cheese. I got a super green press juice and he got an energy pressed juice. We split the bagels so that I could try half of each. They were both incredibly delicious. I really loved the texture of the bagels, crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. This bagel shop was more than just a bagel shop. They had sandwiches and other food in the deli, cakes, cookies, and so much more! The shop is super clean and the ingredients are very fresh. The ladies at the counter were very sweet and welcoming. I'm always surprised when I go out for breakfast. You never know what you will get. "The Bagel Shop" was a place my brother wanted me to check out for a long time. I'm surprised he recommended it. Parking is a breeze, they share it with a few businesses. The building doesn't really stand out, it blends in with the store front. Inside the place is incredibly beautiful. Wooden floors, comfortable seating and a counter the length of the store. The digital boards are a nice touch as well. At the counter I made my order. They recommended these store made drinks so I decided to go with it. When my egg sandwich came out, I went to pay. I was surprised two egg sandwiched and two drinks came out to over thirty dollars. I paid and sat to eat. The drink was made fresh and delicious. However, the egg sandwich was disappointing. The content of the sandwich did not cover the entire sandwich. I asked for extra cheese and it was not on it. And sadly, it was mostly bread. I was surprised it wasn't special because it cost so much. Maybe, I should have gotten a bagel at a bagel shop, but I wanted eggs. I just have to temper my expectations going forward at bagel shops. Maybe eggs aren't there thing. read more

This review is purely speaking to their baked goods and not their bagels, sandwiches, or other menu items (which I have not tried)! Tried their banana bread slice, cookies, brownies, and crumb cake. The banana bread slice tasted of soda in every bite. The cookies were alright but ran overly sweet. The brownie was dry and cakey and not chewy. The crumb cakes had a very bland crumb that was just overly sweet without any of the richness of crumbs. The cake portion was also lack luster and dry. Overall, wouldn't recommend the baked goods to anyone. read more

I like this spot. I think it's newer side and like most places they are in a shopping plaza so there's plenty of parking. The store is set up long way and you follow the counter on the left down towards where you order and then at the end you pay. There are menus hanging right above the counters, so easy to read and they have way more than just bagels. I noticed, smoothies, acai bowls, pastries, sandwiches and more. The fridges with drinks are also in the back. Seating is the right side and is separated by a half wall. They have tables and counter seating. This is our go to spot for breakfast. They have a variety of options. Lil man likes his rainbow bagels with plan cream cheese. Wifey waffles between bacon egg cheese on a toasted egg bagel OR the grand slam - eggs, ham, pancakes, sausage patty (enough for the two of us). Sometimes I'll get a mini everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. One thing I'll say is that I really enjoy the taste of their coffee. Not sure if it's the hazelnut creamer or the actual coffee itself but I do look forward to getting their coffee. Breakfast sandwiches and platters comes with a small coffee or small orange juice. Service is always friendly. They have plenty of staff taking orders and ringing you up. Never had to wait expect for maybe one time when there was a large group ahead of us. Plenty of seating inside. Updating my review from last year. I rated it 4 stars at the time, however they've raised their prices. I used to pay $3 for two bagels, however now am being charged $3.80. This isn't specific to just this place, as a lot of newly established food places raise their prices once they develop a consistent customer base. Taking raised prices into account, there's not much that really makes The Bagel Shop stand out compared to other bagel places in the area IMO. I still think it's a solid place to get bagels and gets plenty of traffic from what I've seen but 3 stars seems to be the more accurate assessment from my POV in late 2024. Cheers. read more

The Bagel Shop has a wide variety of choices for breakfast and lunch. The bagels are great. I love their Mexican tuna salad and their cranberry tuna is a must try. The staff is friendly and hard working. There are ample tables and chairs if you choose to eat there. However, like other reviewers have mentioned, the place is a bit pricey. This place is ridiculous how many times they get the order incorrect, then they have the audacity to give their customers a nasty attitude when we call to get the CORRECT order. They fight saying that's what you ordered- excuse me? I KNOW what I ordered! I have to argue back and forth with 2 different people just to get a sandwich!?! Great deli, great selection, very clean, high prices. I've been going here for lunch since it was Brendels for about 6 years. When it transitioned to The Bagel Shop, I was worried my favorites would be gone! But thankfully they aren't and I still go for lunch all the time. My favorites are the apple ctuna salad, the honey mustard tuna salad and the cranberry couscous. Sadly, they did change the macaroni salad from a unique one into an average one with too much mayo. Always extremely clean and organized. I've never had a problem with the food, it's always cooked correctly and as ordered. Been coming here for a few years now, I stop in before work at least once a week and pick up a bagel or an egg sandwich. Over the last few months, i've had a real problem with them giving me the wrong orders. It's happened several times and usually it is a minor mixup (plain bagel instead of everything or something like that). But today I ordered a bacon egg & cheese on a roll and received an egg, ham & swiss on a whole wheat bagel. I mean, she took my name down when I ordered, wrote down exactly what I wanted, charged me $7.59 and still handed this to me. Went in to the shop past Wednesday and purchased a dozen bagels for $5.00. Going back two days later, they charge me $8.00. I asked why and the guy told me it price has increased. I said prices don't increase by 60% in 2 days. It's definitely not the $3 difference. But I don't think it's ethical to do business this way. I told them they just lost my regular business and I'll will tell my friends and family not to give any business to this shop for such actions.
