This is my wife and I's go to bagel spot near our home. The parking can be a bit of a struggle sometimes since it is street parking on a busy street. Inside it is your typical bagel spot with the normal options. We love the bagels and cream cheese from here. The prices are also great, and they often have specials for bagels. The only thing that lacks sometimes is the service. The people are always friendly, but sometimes it does take a bit longer just for a bagel than it probably should. Their coffee leaves a little to be desired, but it is what it is. It's a small store, with about 4 bar seats by the window inside. When the weather is nicer they have a few tables outside. I usually take my order to go. Depending on the day and time you arrive, service can be very slow (especially during the mornings on a weekend). I'm usually not in a rush, so it's fine by me. I am probably one of the rare people in the US who does not like ketchup. To me it covers up the flavors of what you are eating. I absolutely hate ketchup on eggs. If you do not like ketchup on your egg sandwiches DO NOT go to this bagel store. It has happened to me too many times, I don't like to complain. My 3 star review is based strictly on the fact that the store never seems to have everything that's listed as available on the website. I've ordered through UE like 3-4 times now and each time there was something they didn't have--whether it be the tea I selected or the bagel choice and they swapped it for something else without consultation. I've been calling you for over 5 minutes!" So I stay calm through her rudeness and I said "Well, they said it wasn't ready yet, and it's 184" and she goes "Same thing, i've been yelling for you and it's been sitting here." Ok... I said "Alright, I am here now, it's not that big of a deal, you have a good day...thanks." I took my food and I left. The woman who was rude is a short, stocky blonde older woman. I am more than sure she was rude to me because I look young- I look REALLY young, I could pass for a highschooler. I am in my mid thirties by the way. OR, she is just a hateful woman. I ordered quickly and then waited aside. I waited A LONG TIME, because I was CLEARLY seeing other customers who had come in after me get their bigger orders before me. Figure that one out... I was bothered, to say the least. Not cool. I had a few other things (drinks in hand) when she was ringing me up. She disgustingly looked up at me and rang up the drinks as I was holding them.
