Yikes, I wonder what 2025 will bring. It just gets lower and lower each year.

I've only been once so far, and everything was on par for what I expected from a bagel sandwich joint. I had the lox and cream cheese on an onion bagel. I hope to give it a few more tries, and if the consistency is there then I'll bump it up another star. Edit: After seeing the business manger's response to my review I've decided to change my review to 1 star. I had read his unprofessional responses to previous 1 star reviews before writing my initial 3 star review and decided not to let it influence my review. But after seeing his sarcastic response to my honest review of my mediocre experience at his restaurant, they don't deserve 3 stars. No manager should be responding in such a manner to honest reviews from long-time Yelpers. I'm a local, but I will not be giving you any more business - I'm sure you're heartbroken about this. As the 1 stars continue to pile up, your business will no doubt decline, and you may begin to regret your unprofessional behavior. It cost nothing to be polite; you should either give it a try or get out of the hospitality industry. And for crying out loud go wipe down those sticky tables. I left that out of my initial review in an effort to be polite to a local restaurant.

My veggie egg bagel sandwich really hit the spot the other day. Needed a hearty, but not too heavy or greasy, breakfast before a big day of hiking. Thrilled I found this bagel shop. The guys taking orders were very friendly & efficient. Cafe was clean with easy parking. Bagel was fresh & soft and so tasty. I liked my non dairy latte as well. Reasonable price for the size of the sandwich. Zero complaints here!

This place is a local gem! Being from the north east, its hard to find a comparable bagel anywhere else, but the Bagelry nailed it. Their bagel selection is on point and the breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. I also love all the grateful dead art and how kind the staff is. Definitley check it out if you're craving some carbs!

My mom and I stopped here on our way up to Echo mountain for tubing! The workers greeted us when we came in and helped us in making a decision on what to order! We both got a bagel sandwich and a coffee. I love that you can choose the flavor of bagel for your sandwich!! The shop has a punk/rock vibe with decor, but is not too loud. There are lots of spaces to sit and eat or chat (tables, couches, etc). You can tell it's nestled in a small town because as we say and are the workers knew many of the customers by name

The Secret's Out: Why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge is Our Forever Favorite…read moreFor a few years now, my wife and I have considered this place our little "under-the-radar" sanctuary. But let's be honest--when a spot is this good, a secret stays a secret for about as long as a fresh loaf of their bread lasts on a table. (Which is to say: not long at all.) Here is why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge remains our absolute go-to: * The Vibe: The atmosphere strikes that perfect, rare balance between sophisticated and soulful. Whether you're there for a quiet morning reflective coffee or a lively evening drink, the ambiance just works. * The Bread (Oh, The Bread!): It's the undisputed star of the show. It's consistent, artisanal, and frankly, addictive. If you haven't tried it yet, consider this your formal intervention. * More Than Just a Bakery: They consistently turn out dishes that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. From the first bite to the last sip of coffee, you can tell the kitchen actually cares. * The People: A restaurant can have great decor, but it's the staff that gives it a heart. The team here couldn't be warmer or more attentive; they make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The Verdict? If you're looking for a spot that nails the transition from "morning bakery bliss" to "evening lounge elegance," this is it. We're already counting down the days until our next visit. Highly recommended--just don't be surprised if you have to fight us for a seat!

They were busy but churning tables in and out. Limited parking is available in front but we did what most were doing, parked on the side of the road across from the restaurant. It was great to see how young people (teenagers and early 20 years olds) were working at this local spot. They were also doing an amazing job being attentive. We got the tea of the Tillman drink to soothe our thirst after a hike and the summer heat. It was tart but refreshing. I have never had a drink like it before. I highly recommend trying it. We ordered chilaquiles, breakfast burrito, and the mushroom omelette. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and came away full! If you're in the area around breakfast or lunch time, stop in. They have deserts and hand pies to-go. We didn't try them but they looked delicious.

What surprised us was a small crew of 3-4 men pouring concrete, at the entrance to the cafe and patio where we all sat. Literally 3-4 feet away from our particular table. Who knows, maybe a Saturday morning time slot was the only concrete pouring time slot available. It was odd though. But not odd enough to deter us from the delicious breakfast that we had, lol. We started with the cinnamon roll. Not too much icy and enough to provide the sweetness you're expecting. My breakfast burrito and his chicken fried steak and eggs were scrumptious. We thought about returning on Sunday, lol. The mountain drive was just enough to leave the suburbs and remind yourself that the mountains are literally next door. We'll def be back and back out in that patio, maybe newly expanded for the second time, haha.

Very torn on the Muddy Buck - it didn't live up to my expectations…read more The good: 1) The ambiance! They have the mountain town atmosphere and decor down. The seating is a fun mix of tables and comfy couches, plus outside patio seating. There is a selection of board and card games available, and a slightly tucked away book for those who want some privacy (as I did on my morning visit, to take a work call). 2) The chocolate chip walnut cookies are SO good! Definitely get it warmed up. 3) Free wifi. The less good: 1) Given they roast their own coffee I had high expectations on the taste of my latte but it was just okay, nothing standout. 2) The cinnamon rolls are another thing the Muddy Buck is known for and maybe I just got one from a day-old / less fresh batch but it wasn't that great. The edges were crispy - not sure if that's intentional - I prefer my cinnamon rolls soft & pillowy. 3) The service is hit-or-miss and their overall workflow needs some adjusting. After most orders the cashier would walk away and tell the next person in line they'll be with them in just a few minutes, even if it wasn't that busy. When I got my Italian soda, I didn't get my cookie - I was told they were still working on it (it was in the display case) - yet my friend who ordered after me got her soda and cookie at the same time. I had to go up again to ask for it. 4) They're inconsistent with their use of disposable vs reusable packaging. My latte was in a to-go cup despite dining in and plenty of reusable mugs hanging there. Cinnamon roll came on a plate. Italian soda was a to-go cup. Cookie was in a to-go bag. They have both reusable and disposable silverware. Some adjustments are needed IMO.
