The food here is absolutely delicious but know that you're going to get a large portion. So if you wanna share you order with someone go right ahead, it's a family affair. The restaurant is a typical café setting with a twist. Enjoy.

Had to wait around 20-30 minutes on the waitlist before getting seated which was fine, and waited a bit before being able to order. I got the French Madeleine latte which honestly just tasted like a regular latte with a madeleine on top, so I didn't think that was anything special. The Briskillet was tasty though with the meat, potato, fried onion, and veggies! I definitely enjoyed it more with Chalula sauce on it. The potatoes got a little tiring after a bit, but still solid. I got buttermilk pancakes as a side and I was surprised by the size of the entire order for around $20. It was a huge amount of food for the price, so I took quite a bit home for leftovers - worth it though. This place was very cute inside and had Christmas decor when I went. I liked the vibe and it started dying down after peak brunch time. A good spot for brunch overall!

I'm from California and was visiting a friend and she recommended we come here for brunch. We came around 11:30 am the day before Thanksgiving and there was plenty of parking. We were also seated right away. My friend ordered Eggs Your Way with blueberry lemon pancakes and an iced matcha latte. I ordered the B&G and Add the E which was biscuits and gravy with eggs (I chose sunny side up) and crispy potatoes. I also ordered an iced honey pistachio matcha latte. The gravy was amazing and the portions are huge for the price. The latte tasted watered down so I wouldn't get it again but I liked that there were actual pistachio pieces in it. Overall, a solid place for brunch!

Got seated right away after being on the waitlist for about 5 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. Started off with a decaf vanilla latte, a strawberry orange juice, and a tomato juice. They brought me a regular orange juice by mistake, but I just kept it and it was still good. For food, I got two sunny-side-up eggs with some potatoes and a side of their specialty pancakes--the lemon blueberry ones. Also had to try their biscuit, which was different from the usual ones I've had. It was a bit sweeter but still nice and fluffy inside--really good with jam! A little on the pricey side for brunch, but everything was really good and definitely worth trying.

My husband and I went to this new location of Buttermilk for Brunch. It is spacious and they have a few booths, and plenty of tables. The food was good. They have vegan and gluten-free options. Where they fail is service and their prices are far too high. We had a fairly long wait for menus and a 15 minute wait for the server to come and take out order. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and requested shredded has browns vs. The standard cubed potatoes, with the hash browns served on the side so that I could share (I do not eat meat). There was an upcharge for the shredded potatoes, plus a $2 charge for plate sharing. Only one meal with no beverages was ordered, yet the check was over $20. They do not have QR code menus or a way to pay without waiting for the check, paying the server and then another wait for the server to return with your card. We were not impressed and do not plan on returning.

Sorry for be missed this! Alabama Benny was amazing. Creative, tasty, huge. I was shocked and appalled to see pickle slices on it cuz they're not mentioned on the menu item, and I have a horror of dill pickles. LUCKILY, the lovely server and manager checked with the chef to find they're not DILL, they're SPICY so I dared to taste them and I lived! (Believe they're spicy bread & butter pickles, which are suitable for human consumption unlike dill.) Kind manager appreciated my feedback for the next menu update lest an even more rabid dill pickle-hater send back the dish! I didn't anyway but if they'd been dill...they'd have heard my howls from the dining room. Latte was lovely as was the fruit cup substitute for taters. It's all pretty pricey, more so than most other breakfast joints I frequent, but it's perfectly clean, shiny, spacious, amazing menu, lovely people, and I'll be back!

Stopped at Buttermilk for a late brunch with my wife and cousins today! We decided to sit outside and soak the sun due to great weather - The customer service was friendly and the speed of the service was decent too. A whole bunch of food was ordered and tasted very good. Definitely worth checking out!

Came here, now, 3 times. I usually like to wait a bit to review a place like this. The third time I came, I was with a group of 20 people. We sat in that private room by the entrance. It was really nice to be able to have that room, especially that you can reserve it. Just do it in advance of 3 days at least. I have to say their food is just something else. It is really good. It has unique menu items that I don't see at other places. Even comparing it to Wildberry, they have more unique options, but just to note, their pancakes aren't as good as Wildberry's. I love the indoor seating area, the design is really nice. Yes, sometimes the service can be slow, but just speak up. They'll take care of you. I always used to say that Wildberry has the best sweet potato fries, but these come pretty close, if not exactly as good as Wildberry's. I am comparing it a lot to Wildberry because that's my favorite all time brunch place and Buttermilk is pretty much at the same level.

What a beautiful, new Buttermilk location! This may be THE best designed location of the four. The inside is very spacious with a large coffee bar, (2) open dining areas, and even a smaller private dining space if needed. The parking was a bit difficult based on how crowded the restaurant was. Either way, I didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. Their menu included all of their classic items. They have almost too many options that sound good. Be aware that portions are huge so come hungry, split a dish, or expect leftovers. I split the Croissant Sandwich with Bacon. This made the portion perfect for me. The bacon wasn't cooked quite as I requested but everything else tasted great about it! Our server checked on us often and was nice; but, definitely seemed to be pushing us out at the end. If you are a brunch fan, be sure to check out Buttermilk's newest location here! Tip: Call before going to get the waitlist link to join virtually & Bar Seating is first come first serve.

This place is always packed in the weekends, and for great reason! The food is absolutely delicious - don't miss getting a biscuit somehow with your food! This entire restaurant is super bright and light, and just a great way to start your day.

Then there's the old-fashioned donut. Holy heck. Crispy edges, soft inside, and flipping phenomenal. I don't know who they're getting their donuts from these days, but whoever is responsible deserves continued employment and possibly dental coverage. The ambience at 7 a.m. is also kind of fantastic. It's basically me, the barista, and whoever is standing across the street waiting for the train. Quiet, relaxed, and just enough civilization outside the window to remind you that other people have places to be while you sit there eating a donut. Next assignment: come back in the afternoon and investigate the cocktails. I take these reviews very seriously. It would be irresponsible journalism to base my findings solely on breakfast without conducting a thorough investigation of the cocktail menu. I didn't choose this responsibility, but I intend to see it through.

Today was a good experience. I just worked out and called to ask about the dress code. No dress code, I'll be right there! I walked in and was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and gave me time to decide without feeling rushed even as I changed my mind a couple times. I ordered the salmon and Mad Rose to drink. The drink has a lot going on and wasn't for me. It reminded me of a cinnamon orange tea, citrus and spicy. For dinner, I waffled on a couple fish dishes, but went with the salmon. It has a nice, crunchy glaze on it with some nice citrus flavors that weren't overbearing. I wasn't sure how the risotto would taste with the orange, but it worked. I was asked several times how I was doing and how my drinks and food were. Dining solo, I get ignored at times with subpar service. Not tonight access I appreciate that. I would recommend based on service and the dish I had. I will return to try more.

I ordered from Entourage Downers Grove and was honestly impressed with how well everything held up for delivery. The standout for me was the lobster bisque. It arrived at the perfect temperature, which is pretty impressive for delivery. The bisque was rich and luscious without feeling overly heavy, and the basil oil added a nice brightness that balanced the creaminess beautifully. It also had a generous amount of lobster, including several large chunks, and was a very solid portion overall. The filet mignon sliders were another highlight. Each slider had a substantial piece of filet mignon topped with pickled onions, microgreens, and horseradish cream on brioche buns. The onions and horseradish added enough acidity and bite to balance the richness of the beef without overpowering it. I also tried the Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, and rice noodles, served with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Everything tasted very fresh, and the sauces complemented the generously stuffed rolls nicely. My only small critique is that cutting them in half made for a prettier presentation, but made them a little awkward to dip and eat. Overall, this was a surprisingly strong delivery experience, and I would absolutely order from them again, or better yet, make it over to the restaurant itself next time I'm in the area.

When our drinks arrived, our waiter sat them in front of the wrong people and that made for a doozy. We placed our orders and noticed that our waiter was the only one serving about 3-4 tables during the lunch hour! I ordered the barria tacos with black beans and refried beans. The refried beans didn't taste very good, but the black beans were flavorful and complimented the meal well. The Barria tacos were dry and then it hit us that we were not given the consommé that goes with our meal. I also ordered a side of chicken tortilla soup.......it was served lukewarm to cold. She was friendly, attentive, patient, and never made us feel rushed, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. The Queso Fundido was absolutely incredible. For my entrée, I ordered the Poblano Rajas Burrito, prepared suiza style. It was a unique dish that I enjoyed, although it wasn't what I would consider traditional Mexican cuisine. In hindsight, I would have skipped both the mushrooms and the potatoes. The potatoes, in particular, changed the overall flavor and took away from the more authentic experience I was expecting. The rice inside the burrito also wasn't traditional Mexican rice, but it was still flavorful and well prepared.
