We stopped in for a quick slice of pie to go. The place had a steady flow of customers, but there was only one person working behind the counter. She was juggling multiple orders and answering the phone, so service was understandably slower than usual. We ended up waiting about five minutes (maybe a bit longer) just to place our order. My wife was ready to head out, but I decided to stick it out since we weren't in a rush. Once we were able to order, things moved quickly, and our pie was ready within a few minutes. That said, the initial wait was a bit frustrating--especially for what we expected to be a quick stop. It felt like they may have been short-staffed, which can happen, but it did impact the overall experience this time around. Because of that, I'm landing at 3 stars for this visit, even though I've rated them higher in the past. Still a place I like, just not their best showing today.
