I tried to place an order for Christmas to take with me to PA, but was told they don't take advance orders. You have to go in the same day and buy whatever is available. I purchased a fresh strawberry cake, 1 lobster roll with custard, one with crème, 2 small cannoli, and one semolina bread. The strawberry cake was tasty and not super sweet. The cannoli was delicious and crispy. The lobster tails were amazing. And the semolina was one of the better breads he has found. Service was prompt and the bakery was clearly marked with entry and exit. The line was orderly and I only regret it is not super close to our home.

He went to get the coffees and then checked back in the kitchen for my order. He came back out and asked, 'Are you sure you called the right location? There are no orders under Veronica being made.' I took out my phone and showed him the 10:32 AM call. I asked if it was their number, and he confirmed it was. I explained that I called, placed the order, and had it repeated back to me. He looked shocked. The chef then came out and asked another counter employee if she had taken the order. She didn't speak a word and just kept staring at the chef without acknowledging me. I got extremely aggravated by the situation, especially because no one apologized and no one offered to quickly make my breakfast. So, I just left. The Super Mario decal was not centered and there was a wrinkle on the left side of the decal. It appears that the wrinkle is from a break in the cake and there was an attempt to cover the mistake. When mentioning to the staff the mistakes, I was presented with a "sorry". As a patron who has used this company for over several years, I am highly disappointed in the quality and response. The quality of this cake appears to be one of an amateur and not worth the $90 spent. Please review the photos shared below.
