L-R: Mary, Joy, Cyndi wearing her Boston Packers scarf won during half time.

Our Parrish bartender, Christina, recommended we go to The Banshee in Dorchester to watch the Sunday Packers game (sadly the Browns won in what should have been an easy win for Green Bay). We were to tell Joy (our Packer game Bartender) that Christina sent us. Joy welcomed us and was expecting us! She was so kind and warm and sat us at a huge table where she promised we'd enjoy other hometown fans. Which we did! 6degrees of separation conversations ensued with people from Hartford Madison Milwaukee GB Kenosha Waukesha Muskego. The AC was cranked so a delish hot creamy clam chowder warmed us up. The nachos were amazing and plenty for 4 or more! Warren ran a drawing for free Boston Packers Merch and we won a scarf! We're definitely adopting Joy and the Banshee as our Boston GBP HQ!

Nice bar to watch the games in. Saw a few euro games in there. Service is very quick wings were very good had a nice kick to them. Not a bad little bar.

Service and drinks were awesome- but the mirror in the woman's bathroom was too small :(

A classic American bar conveniently located in the corner of dorchester that's great for hangout with friends. We got the chicken tenders with honey mustard which was delicious!! We also got dumplings and the screaming banshee for drinks but they're your typical bar food/drinks, nothing really stood out to me. The service was quick and our waiter was friendly. The atmosphere was nice with a moderate amount of seatings and the music wasn't too loud which I enjoyed! I had a great time catching up with friends there. Food: 7.5/10 Service: 7/10 Experience: 8/10 Value: 7/10

Very dark, somewhat dirty, and tables are cluttered. Empty at 12:30pm on a sunny Wednesday. Very limited menu of poor options, Super dark bathroom. Server was low energy, took a while to get two iced teas with only one other person in the house. Iced tea was not good. Burns the throat like Nestea from a can. Food was okay. Sandwich better than entree. Not very appealing in the presentation. Expensive. Nothing worth returning for.

I thought this place was okay. The steak tips and side salad I had were good, but the mashed potatoes I got had no flavor at all, they completely lacked salt. When I asked our waiter for some salt and a glass of water, both times it took them forever, it was like they completely forgot about me. Personally I wouldn't come back.

Nice Irish pub. Good vibes. I haven't had the food there, but the drinks are great and not totally unreasonably priced

Awesome bar. The Guinness pour was the best I have ever had in Boston. Dooley's is really good. Will have to do a taste test to be sure.

Super relaxed atmosphere and tv's, so it would be a great place to watch a game. Friendly bartender and the fish and chips was good. They also have pizzas that looked great. My friend had a pesto with burrata and she said it was awesome. They also have gluten-free pizza, whihc is good to know. Our table neighbor had the pork chop, which also looked great. They have a small parking lot, which would fill up quickly. We went on a very "off" time, so we were able to park in that lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find street parking.

We were seated right away at a table in the middle of the floor. Told that was best that could be done. Like eating in an aisle. After a few minutes we were asked if we wanted still water or not. Still, we said. Then if we wanted drinks, told her water would be fine. Service started to decline from there. Also no condiments come to the table, but water. We ordered bread and butter and a spice bag, but vegetarian. No bread today ran out. And no plans to bake anymore. We wait close to 25 minutes for our appetizers. Spice bag arrives and I had read rave reviews about this. Open it and its filled with chicken and french fries. Server grabbed it and told us, kitchen error. They would make another, be there in a minute or two. I asked would this show up with our entrees. No, be spaced apart. We waited over 15 minutes, it arrived. Was supposed to have cauliflower, peppers, onions and french fries. There was three pieces of cauliflower and no peppers or onions. What was there was tasty and well spiced. And as soon as we opened the bag and started eating, entrees show up. Fish and chips portions are huge and very nicely fried. Excellent crisp and fantastic steak fries. The Pizza #1, excellent tomatoed base and the crust had a good chew to it. I ordered the Beyond meat lasagna. Huge portion with a green salad and cole slaw. Cole slaw was creamy and very nice. Green salad was fresh but drenched in dressing. My fault should have asked for it on the side. The lasagna was disappointing. No seasoning, no garlic or onions or oregano. It was, I think a British version of lasagna. Ate about half could not eat more. No desserts, but drinks, tea and hot chocolate. Or I did not see it. Server apologized for the timing of the meals, the error with the Spice Bag and the lack of bread. She was sweet. Lots of sports being broadcasted, and a huge long bar. I would come for beer and soccer or football. If I wanted Irish bar food I'd be better going to the Burren. And parking is a challenge. They have a very small lot, we got lucky and found a spot. Hard pass on McGonagle's.

We dropped in for an early dinner for our group of 8 with kids and had a wonderful time. When you first step inside, you are welcomed with a buzzing atmosphere of live music and conversation. The decor is a mix of modern bar with nice touches of an Irish pub. There was live music from 4-6 which set a nice festive mood but does result in a louder atmosphere. A beautiful bar with large TVs were available for catching the game. I got the fish and chips which I recommend. The fish was tender and flakey and the breading was a proper batter that added a nice crunch. The portion was quite large, and I was a big fan of the spiced curry sauce that came with the dish. My wife had the sausage roll which had a nice flakey pastry crust to it. The menu had quite the variety of Irish dishes, and I can't wait to come back to try more of them. The restaurant is also kid friendly. They provide crayons and coloring sheets and offer a decent kids menu. It's nice to finally have a higher end and more modern Irish restaurant that I'm certain will become a neighborhood staple.

They have a wide open resturaunt area with two parallel copper bars and 3 large TVs. A great spot to sit and stand to watch the game. I've been here two separate times, and both times had 5 star service (please note that this is a BAR ONLY review) Staff is friendly and professional, food comes out in a quick manner. The drinks I've had are also good, simple house margaritas but were made well. They have a nice selection of craft beers and everything is well priced. I cannot stress enough how phenomenal the Cauliflower is at this establishment. BEST cauliflower I've ever had in any location. For $6.50 it's a steal, because it will fill you up and make your tastebuds crave more even after finishing. Now, I must note that I have only been living in Massachuttes for 1 week at this time (I'm originally from Rural PA). However prior to my Move I frequented the state for work so meeting new people when I'm on travel is second nature to me. The first time I came across landmark was about 1.5 months ago on a Thursday night. Everybody was super friendly and I made two friends that I intend to meet there again in the future. Everybody was all smiles! However, last night I went to the bar alone again and had a completely different experience. as soon as I walked in, was pleasantly greeted by the hostess and made a beeline for the bar. No seats were available, so I went to a corner space to grab myself a beer. However, immediately a drunken "masshole" as the bartender put it, berated me for standing near him? I replied I'm placing a drink order and he said no dont stand here go somewhere else, because the waitresses come here and u are blocking them. I just walked away and then about 30 seconds later his friends came over and blocked the waitresses out completely. They had to ask them to move out of the way.... ok buddy. So a seat cleared up and I take my spot. Had some very pleasant convos with the Barback and bartender while watching the game and having my beer. But anybody I turned to speak casually with I was immediately met with hostility, which is very unusual. I got up to use the restroom, was blocked by the 95% of men who were all in their groups trying to pick up girls. I was shoulder checked several times as I politely excused myself through the crowd. Upon making it to the bathroom, a belligerently intoxicated man came in and asked if I was this one celebrity and then continued to harass me and insinuate that I use heroin??? I was appalled at this, as another guy chimed in with the harassment. I told them to not speak to me again and left the bathroom. I went back to the bar, again being blocked and shoulder checked by the sea of single guys thirsty for any girl that would make eye contact with them. I took my seat and noticed the Nice bartender was in a heated verbal argument with another inebriated guy who didnt like that there was a bouncer that had carded him. This argument was very obnoxious and lasted 3 minutes. Since I'm not from the area, I asked why everybody was being so rude tonight and told the bartender about my two hostile expierences. He said the "massholes" come out on fridays and Saturdays. I cashed out and left him a 40% tip since he was a hardworking bartender and more than respectful to me, as anybody should be to a complete stranger. Morale of the story is DO NOT go to this bar alone on Fri/Sat nights. There is no security to control the "massholes" and you are left to your own resources. I have no doubt I was a target because I was dressed nicely and the girls seemed to be interested in me, judging by the glances and smiles I was getting. So perhaps the guys were jealous of my looks? I'm not sure but I call it "small d*ck syndrome" when strangers are rude and arrogant for no reason. Clearly they wanted to start a Bar fight because I was an easy target being alone, and they were all in groups of 5+. I suggest Landmark invests in security that walks around and takes care of the unruly types that come around, at least on Friday and Saturday nights. I would have reported the second hostile encounter for sure, as extremely offensive things were being said and I would not retaliate because They are all in large groups. Additionally, please do not serve people who are being belligerent. Get them out. It is bad for business. I will be returning but only on weekdays because of this. I was very upset with how I was treated and how the bartender didnt have any resources to fix the issue for him or I. I love the food and service but the people there on the weekends are complete "MASSHOLES" with small d*ck syndrome. PLEASE MGMT DO SOMETHING!!!!!
