This bar was adequate. Nothing to write home about. Beer was shockingly good though. Bald bartender was a little rude but I guess that Boston pubs for ya.

Our Parrish bartender, Christina, recommended we go to The Banshee in Dorchester to watch the Sunday Packers game (sadly the Browns won in what should have been an easy win for Green Bay). We were to tell Joy (our Packer game Bartender) that Christina sent us. Joy welcomed us and was expecting us! She was so kind and warm and sat us at a huge table where she promised we'd enjoy other hometown fans. Which we did! 6degrees of separation conversations ensued with people from Hartford Madison Milwaukee GB Kenosha Waukesha Muskego. The AC was cranked so a delish hot creamy clam chowder warmed us up. The nachos were amazing and plenty for 4 or more! Warren ran a drawing for free Boston Packers Merch and we won a scarf! We're definitely adopting Joy and the Banshee as our Boston GBP HQ!

Nice bar to watch the games in. Saw a few euro games in there. Service is very quick wings were very good had a nice kick to them. Not a bad little bar.

A classic American bar conveniently located in the corner of dorchester that's great for hangout with friends. We got the chicken tenders with honey mustard which was delicious!! We also got dumplings and the screaming banshee for drinks but they're your typical bar food/drinks, nothing really stood out to me. The service was quick and our waiter was friendly. The atmosphere was nice with a moderate amount of seatings and the music wasn't too loud which I enjoyed! I had a great time catching up with friends there. Food: 7.5/10 Service: 7/10 Experience: 8/10 Value: 7/10

Service and drinks were awesome- but the mirror in the woman's bathroom was too small :(

Rosemary steak sandwich was decent, not dry

Very dark, somewhat dirty, and tables are cluttered. Empty at 12:30pm on a sunny Wednesday. Very limited menu of poor options, Super dark bathroom. Server was low energy, took a while to get two iced teas with only one other person in the house. Iced tea was not good. Burns the throat like Nestea from a can. Food was okay. Sandwich better than entree. Not very appealing in the presentation. Expensive. Nothing worth returning for.

I thought this place was okay. The steak tips and side salad I had were good, but the mashed potatoes I got had no flavor at all, they completely lacked salt. When I asked our waiter for some salt and a glass of water, both times it took them forever, it was like they completely forgot about me. Personally I wouldn't come back.

The only place I want to watch a Packer game when in Boston. Loud fans and plenty of good times. Can't wait to return. Go pack go!

Not perfect, not terrible. A couple of the bartenders are kind of pretentious, but the food's great and the beers are always fresh.

We were advised light snacks so figured we should probably get a base before heading that way. We walked in to the coolest Irish pub that opened up in the back. It was way bigger than I expected. We quickly ordered drinks and I ordered a Moscow mule (my go to). It was in a copper mug and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a beer, which he enjoyed too. We ordered some oysters and corn ribs for an appetizer. I had never had corn ribs before and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I split the fish and chips and I'm really glad we did. The fish was extremely large and almost filled the plate. It was crispy and delicious. It was definitely well made. The sauce on the side was even better, too. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite and a pint.

Super relaxed atmosphere and tv's, so it would be a great place to watch a game. Friendly bartender and the fish and chips was good. They also have pizzas that looked great. My friend had a pesto with burrata and she said it was awesome. They also have gluten-free pizza, whihc is good to know. Our table neighbor had the pork chop, which also looked great. They have a small parking lot, which would fill up quickly. We went on a very "off" time, so we were able to park in that lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find street parking.

Too. The best part was the art. They are known as the "Museum of Bad Art" which I have seen on Facebook before. Haha. They have an attached BBQ restaurant. I wish I could say that was a great experience but the brewery closes at 10 and the BBQ place at 8. Which wasn't clear online. So when we arrived and went to order, they were out of most things. Like fries and Mac and cheese. But you also couldn't substitute these items and they couldn't adjust the price. We also only have 5 minutes to order. Since we were starving we ended up gulping down our beers and going back to the hotel for dinner. Definitely a disappointment. Just keep that in mind when you come. You also have to order your food at one counter and your beer at another. There is no wait staff.

The restaurant was very clean and well lit. The group at the bar was larger, but the restaurant remained not too loud. I did notice no changing table in the restroom, which was a nuisance. We dropped in for an early dinner for our group of 8 with kids and had a wonderful time. When you first step inside, you are welcomed with a buzzing atmosphere of live music and conversation. The decor is a mix of modern bar with nice touches of an Irish pub. There was live music from 4-6 which set a nice festive mood but does result in a louder atmosphere. A beautiful bar with large TVs were available for catching the game. I got the fish and chips which I recommend. The fish was tender and flakey and the breading was a proper batter that added a nice crunch. The portion was quite large, and I was a big fan of the spiced curry sauce that came with the dish. My wife had the sausage roll which had a nice flakey pastry crust to it. The menu had quite the variety of Irish dishes, and I can't wait to come back to try more of them. The restaurant is also kid friendly. They provide crayons and coloring sheets and offer a decent kids menu. It's nice to finally have a higher end and more modern Irish restaurant that I'm certain will become a neighborhood staple.
