A cute little spot right in downtown concord across from the capitol. The chicken pot pie was great. Our server, Colin was great as well.

Good comfort food and nice comforting atmosphere. The chicken pot pie and sweet potatoes fries were great. I didn't love the turkey burger but that was user error in my part for ordering it. They did say they make everything in house!

Stopped by after a great tour of the State House. Service was okay. They were friendly enough, but nothing memorable. They were out of the chicken pot pie (which I was really looking forward to ). We tried a burger and the stew. Both were fine, decent portions, just nothing that stood out. The atmosphere was cozy but a bit dark for lunch. Overall, an okay experience. Not bad, just not particularly exciting.

Met family / friends after arriving in town. Great burger. Nice atmosphere sitting out on patio. Perfect service.

Man, this is the place to be for lunch on a Thursday. I was visiting my parents for the holidays and was leaving that afternoon, so we stopped in for lunch before I had to head out. It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Concord, and my parents live just a few blocks away. My sister and brother in law do, as well, so it's been a relatively frequent spot for my family for years, but this was my first time here. I think the entire town was there for lunch - we actually had to wait for a table, but I think it was only about 10 mins. While we were waiting near the entrance, I was perusing all the photos on the wall - lots of political candidates, some athletes and other celebrities, and then I spot a photo with my brother in law in it. He interviews politicians for a local radio show sometimes. Anyway, it was funny because no one in my family had ever noticed the photo before and it looks like it's been up there for over a decade. Once we were seated I ordered a spiked hot apple cider, which was tasty but room temp. If they weren't so busy I would've asked to have it reheated, but it was good enough as is that it didn't feel worth troubling anyone. My dad got a non-spiked hot apple cider that was in fact piping hot and he was very pleased with it. It was pouring rain that day, so it was a perfect day for a hot bevvy. We started off with the Blarney Puffs appetizer - it's fried little pockets of potato, cheese, and scallions served with Guinness cheese sauce. It made me wish I was in town more than once a year because I would eat those things every single day. Then I had to try the lobster BLT. Can't travel all the way to New England and leave without any lobster, come on. It's market price, which was $36 that day, but that's about what I was expecting. It was so filling that I could only finish half of it, so you're getting your money's worth. My parents got to enjoy the other half later. I also liked the coleslaw I got as my side. I don't know that I need to do the lobster BLT again, as that was more of like a novelty thing for me, but I'd get on a plane right now for more Blarney Puffs. I think my parents are hooked on them now, too. And they can get them whenever they want, so they'd better take advantage or I will have some sort of existential crisis.

Ratty and tattered, but the best place to be when in Concord. Local; authentic; full of area…read morenatives; distinct ambiances across two different levels; and a wide assortment of rare craft beers, largely from the greater area. My sole complaints are that some of the beers are a bit pricey; other games should perhaps be incorporated; and that it may be to the customers' interest for the seating and interior to be a little less grungy.

"Wow" is not quite the informal exclamation I would use to describe this place. "Gee whizz" seems…read moremore appropriate... Maybe "Erm"? I'm really not sure. What I am sure of, though, is that "Billiard & Bar" are excellent words to describe this place. Tryna escape your depressing 9 to 5 and go shoot some pool? Boom, 8 pool tables (All green) Tryna escape your depressing 9 to 5 even more and drink some alcoholic beverages to hide the pain of your sad sorry life? Boom, full bar (Not all green) There's even a few things in here that aren't even mentioned in the name. For example, there are two brand new arcade basketball games that look so cool and fun! If you're not a paraplegic, you'll probably get a kick out of these. And speaking of paraplegics, my Great Uncle fought in WW2 and lost every single one of his 5 limbs. He probably wouldn't enjoy these arcade basketball games any more than he does his life. So if you aren't my Great Uncle, then you gotta try them. Now if you're looking to escape your sad boring life through means other than liquor and beer, well you're in luck! This place comes fully equipped with one of those arcade punching bag games that rate how hard you hit it. And what better way to get all your anger and frustrations of your boring everyday life out than to punch something as hard as humanly possible. And the best part is, there's no legal consequences because it's not a person! This place should be called: "Erm, Billiard Bar Arcade Escape! (Anger issues welcome, Great Uncles not)" Will definitely be coming back here since I do have all my limbs! (Sorry Great Uncle Ronnie)

So i thought at first well this is ok if its busy it must be a ok place. Then i noticed they dont sell any booze. No license it seems. ok new owners so they must not be approved yet. no biggie. I bought my wife a cue stick for league match when we join in a few weeks. It was a decent used condition. Figured i would get it at 60 percent of retail. Sadly my cell phone was dead and i didnt have a way to check the retail. I was not familair with the cue. seems i paid over retail for a used cue. Not happy about that. but it is what it is. BUT iif there was one complaint and why i will never return. This room was probably 20k square feet. and they had 1 single wall unit ac and it wasn't doing crap. it was 90 degrees outside. and 95 inside. I was covered in sweat after a single game. we waited for a table to open about 15 minutes. when the league play started. and i heard people left and right complaining. when i sat and drank a soda it was warm inside. but when we started to shoot the ball. i couldn't even see the ball half the time due to the sweat falling into my eyes. everyone was complaining about the heat. An why it was so packed. it was a league match and they had to be there or loose. They where not happy about the heat. if the owners cant afford ac. I dont see busters being here in 2026

I used to take advantage of the six hour special, which was all-you-can-play pool for $5 from noon to 6 PM on weekdays, except in the summer, when they closed most weekdays in the daytime. I was in training to become a professional pool player and needed the table time to up my game. I started out in their showroom, which doubled as their non-smoking room, since I didn't like smoke. After a few weeks, I just sucked it up and moved to their main room since it was very lonely in the enclosed showroom, since no one ever went there. Plus they had the better Simonis (tournament) cloth on the front tables outside. In my time there, I played on a number of local tours and in Busters' own in-house tournaments, which were weighted. There were weighted 9-ball and 8-ball tournaments, a few of which I won or placed in the money. Frank had just joined in a the "Four Tour" league with pool halls in Portland, Sanford, and Waterville, and I played in that too. The most exciting time was when they hosted the New Hampshire State 8-Ball Championships, and I got to watch some extremely talented players. At the time, there was a small snack bar up front, as well as a small pro shop. One of the employees also did work on cue sticks on his lathe. They always had the TV on up front. I liked it when they had ESPN's 9-ball matches on, usually with Allison Fisher. Most others there didn't want the channel on that though. I am not sure why, since it was a pool hall after all. Frank actually started giving me free lessons after a while, which I appreciated. All in all, I had a good time and learned a lot. No complaints from me. By the way, I see the new owners have put a lot of their games on their Facebook page, including live videos (https://www.facebook.com/pg/BustersBilliards/videos/). Very nice! These are fun to watch.

The sushi is actually one of the highlights -- good quality, fresh, and definitely worth ordering, even though it's not the absolute best you'll find. The Chinese food itself is decent and pretty typical for a local spot. Nothing extraordinary, but it gets the job done when you're craving classic takeout-style dishes. The prices are reasonable, which makes it a convenient option for a quick and affordable meal. One unique item I'd recommend trying is the habanero chicken wings -- just be warned, they are very spicy, so order at your own discretion if you're sensitive to heat. The downstairs area adds a fun touch with a bar-style setup, music, and karaoke, making it a good place to hang out with friends and enjoy a relaxed night out. Overall, this isn't a place for fine dining, but it's a reliable choice for takeout, casual dining, or when you're simply in the mood for Chinese food without overthinking it. The service here I will say is like any other Chinese place it's fast straight to the point as always so that's something I will say I almost forgot to mention the service, but the employees are still very nice and friendly to you.

Our Mother's Day late lunch at Tandy's Pub & Grille was unforgettable and I am so grateful we wandered in. The chicken & lemongrass dumplings were genuinely one of the best appetizers I have ever had in my life - perfectly balanced, deeply flavorful, comforting and bright all at once. Every bite felt intentional. The rest of the meal was equally flawless. My Chicken Caprese sandwich and my husband's Club sandwich were excellent, but the dumpling appetizer just stole the show for me. My mouth waters writing this and remembering! We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful spring Sunday, listening to the nearby fountain and the happy sounds of families celebrating together. It was the kind of atmosphere that reminds you how special simple moments can be when everything comes together just right. What truly elevated the experience from excellent to exceptional was the service. Greg (and another gentleman whose name I did not catch) made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed from start to finish - warm, attentive, welcoming, and effortlessly professional without ever feeling intrusive. Hospitality like that is rare. Perfect food. Perfect atmosphere. Perfect service. I'm already looking forward to our next visit where I will immediately order those incredible dumplings again!
