*~*REVIEW IS FOR FOR TAKE OUT ONLY*~* Friday after the boyfriend and I are home from our vacation, we did not want to cook! But we also did not know what we wanted to eat either..... So we play Russian Roulette on Uber Eats and found this place! We were initially were confused as to the portioning,so i went ahead and I called the restaurant. Satisfied at the number of fried fish items that came in the combo and satisfied with the questions about other items on the menu,we placed our order via UberEats as they do not do their own delivery. 2 fried fish fillets came in our fish and oysters platter, and everything looked and smelled SO GOOD - we decided to pour our Etouffee over it! Everything was flavorful and fresh, and we were not disappointed. The dirty rice had chunks of liver and the the red beans were thick. I only WISH we took a picture before we devoured it! Yahtzee (spelling?) was the one to help us over the phone. We called her back again 15 minutes before closing to tell her how much we enjoyed their food! Based on the exceptional customer service Yahtzee gave, and the delicious food the kitchen cooked up, we will be ordering again! My boyfriend wants to make it known that this is a hidden goldmine and he wants to try other things on the menu. My boyfriend also feels this review is understated(LOL). Bless y'all.

Placed an order on a food delivery app due to the reviews. The food was good and everything was packaged well. There were a few things I didn't care for but everything was tasty. The cornbread is great. Tastes like it was baked when I ordered it and you can taste the fresh jalapeños (but not overwhelming). The gumbo was also good...the soup had alot of seafood and vegetables. The cajun corn was ok...not my favorite. I love red beans and rice but was not a fan of the red beans. The flavor was ok but for me it was too "soupy" ...very watery. The boudin was good, seasoned well and the fried fish and shrimp was great. I will definitely eat here again.

Great food and service. Very clean. You make your own drinks. We did the 2 meals for $25! We will be coming back!!

I was looking for Cajun town and I couldn't find them. After searching I was able to find the bayou Cajun Café. Come to find out I talked to the manager Arsenio And he told me they indeed changed the name but the food is still the same. I was relieved! I got their amazing Cajun pasta. I have been eating this dish for many years. I can confirm the food is still indeed the same. So if you are in the mood for some amazing Cajun pasta and or Cajun food. This is your spot! Everything is so good here. The Cajun pasta is simply the best! I have also had the crawfish etoufee which is extreme good! The lunch portion is huge and can probably feed two people. The chicken tenders are so dam good too! My picky brother in law said these are best chicken tenders he ever ate In his life. That's a lot coming from him. Trust me if you are in the area stop on in and try some amazing Cajun good! You will not be disappointed. *** also you know you go out to eat too much when this happens. After talking more with Arsenio he told me he worked at the little York location for 14 years. I knew he looked familiar. *****. Come support the local businesses!!!!!

Swai fish. NOT CATFISH!! They may tell you it is. But it is not. You can taste the difference. Fries were great.

Not catfish!! if you prefer swai fish and this is the place for you. Fries were good. Not what I was looking forward to with the fish.

The food was amazing. I can't believe there was hardly anyone in here. We did t wait long for food. Also you get discount if you pay for cash. I was skeptical about this location because I always go to Cajun Town on Little York but this place did not disappoint. I will be visiting this location more.

Quaint restaurant... it is really quiet on a Wednesday, although I am not quite sure why because they have nice size TV screens. It would be a great place to watch the game. The restaurant was clean. The waitress/cashier was attentive. She was also very knowledge about the menu and made several suggestions. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat in this area, stop here. Looks can be deceiving, as the food tastes better than I thought.

Orders are ready quickly, whether in-person or to-go. The food tastes just as good as the old Cajun Town restaurant.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

Just before closing, we had the place to ourselves and got to shoot the S with the owner who gave us its very cool history. 38 years in, and a few miles on his ledger, Marty still cranks out some fabulous food! The place was like walking into the 50's, with the old school metal tables and ample linoleum. I LOVE Louisiana cooking, and it couldn't have been more authentic. The only problem I had with my shrimp gumbo is the bowl was too small (actually a filling portion) and loaded with succulent, tender shrimp. Yummmmm! The cornbread was sublime and dipping it in the gumbo was killer! John had a Po Boy and said it was heavenly. The fries were obviously fresh cut and perfect. We finished with the bread pudding as we are both connoisseurs, and boy did it not disappoint. Thank You for yet another 5 star experience and a return visit will be on the horizon! Cheers, JimG

The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.
