Excellent sandwiches and pleasant staff. My husband and I went in for lunch one afternoon after a long walk and ordered a few sandwiches. They only had a few options that were vegan. A tofu banh mi and a falafel wrap. Both were really good. My only issue would be the size of the wrap and sandwich for the price. The banh mi was $14. and the falafel was $15. and no other item came with the sandwich. Like potato chips etc... I also wish they had more vegan options. The space is really nice inside and out. We drew 35 min to this spot because the reviews were promising. Ordered Brekkie bowl which comes with 3 eggs and you can add your toppings to it. We added guac, salsa, black beans and maple sausage. The bowl came with eggs scrambled with beans, there was no guacamole and a large amount of salsa. Also this came on the bed of dry tater tot's that weren't mentioned in the menu. So presentation didn't impress. But the taste didn't help the situation. Too salty, had large pieces of egg shell and the sausage made me nauseous. Given that it was a holiday it made sense that the restaurant was about half occupied when we walked in. The space encompasses what seems to be a one story home, but only has about 8 or so tables for seating. Regardless, large windows allowed lots of natural light into the space which is always great. We were able to find a table near the window and were excited to see what this sandwich shop had to offer. When it had come time to order I went with the pulled pork sandwich ($9) while my friend ordered friend chicken sandwich ($12). WOW, I honestly don't think I've ever had a more well prepared pulled pork in my entire life. Everything from the meat to the bread and all the other ingredients in between came together to make one of the most savory sandwiches I've ever had, period. If you're here and contemplating what to order, DEFINITELY go with the pulled pork. The staff here was extremely kind as well! Stopped in Sunday after flying into SWF. Parking is scarce so plan to park in front of a residence a couple blocks away. The young lady who took my order was friendly and efficient. I found a seat at a small table in the very front of the restaurant directly in the morning sun. Problem with the table was freezing cold air hitting me and blowing the napkins on the floor every couple of minutes! The guests sitting next to me wore winter coats during their meal, it was chilly. My food was delivered very quickly, Fuster Cluck sandwich and salad. I believe the chicken was previously fried as the food arrived very quickly and the breading was gummy. The sandwich had finely cut onions, melted cheddar, crispy bacon, BBQ, some chicken and a huge kaiser roll. I realized after a few bites I was eating mostly breading, the chicken was micro thin. I ate about a third and finished the side salad. The salad was fresh cherry toms, pickled onions, cukes and simple romaine. The one thing this place has 100 percent is Green Goddess dressing. For $20 I wish the sandwich was more than a kaiser roll and a sliver of chicken. read more

After a somewhat gruelling 6 mile hike up around Mount Beacon, a delicious and satiating lunch + beer combo was in desperate order. The Beacon Daily, a relatively new addition to the area, proffers both - and each in esteemed quality. The range of beers available in the fridge is impressive for sure (the Light & Tight Sunday Beer being our choice this time), but it's really in the realm of sandwiches that this place freaking excels. We had a roast beef sandwich and a brisket sandwich... and holy hell, it was sandwich nirvana to the point that we returned the next morning to sample the breakfast fare. Charles, one of the owners, is exceptionally friendly and passionate about the business and in ensuring that the quality of food and service is top notch.
