I decided to go here today since it was close by. Unfortunately, I'll never be going here again. I ordered a plain bagel (not toasted) with a side of cream cheese and an iced coffee. The side of cream cheese is comical, they said they were running low, but this is ridiculous. The bagel has no flavor, which is surprising for a New Jersey Cafe. The iced coffee is pumped with way too much caramel and ice. It also took over 10 minutes for them to make my order when no one was in the shop. The prices are also super high, especially with the quality and getting a pathetic amount of cream cheese. I will not be going back and am disappointed in the service. read more

My wife ordered Bean Street Cafe today from DoorDash. A couple of issues when our food arrived - no condiments (no syrup for French toast, no cream cheese for the bagel - incredibly overpriced for what you get. - Missing bagel DoorDash gave us a credit of $9 but Bean Street should offer some kind of partial refund. Just visited this place for the first time. It was freezing in there and the guy behind the counter defended it saying it was to detract the kids from lingering too long inside the shop. Ordered a small coffee, which I got from a pump that dispensed lukewarm at best coffee. It wasn't fresh and it most likely was made early in the morning. This is one of my new favorite spots to grab an iced coffee and toasted bagel. I went here during the grand opening and was not extremely impressed, but I was told they have come under new management and I can definitely tell. I am always greeted as I walk in the door. There is a nice seating area to wait and relax. I always get an iced coffee or cold brew with a toasted plain bagel with butter. The price is reasonable and the quality of the coffee and food is right on point. The bagels are delivered fresh daily. The customer service is always exceptional. They also have a punch card, so the 10th coffee is free. The only reason why it is not a 5 star review is because the quality of prep between different associates is noticed. I know everything is going to be perfect with one, but 50/50 on a few others. This is a great place to go! read more

I had heard good reviews about this place and was excited to try it. I give it 3-stars for average. It's a standard cafe that offers bagels, sandwiches, pastries, and more. It is in a good location for those who live in Kings Grant, but I am not wowed by the bagels or the sandwiches as I could easily make them at home or find another location that steps it up a notch. I stopped in on whim and had Turkey BLT sandwich on a croissant and my husband had a Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese on a croissant. The food was tasty, but I was expecting more based on the reviews. The fake positive reviews for this place must have cost Bean Street quite a pretty penny because it seems they've run out of money for actually making sandwiches. Ordered 3 bacon egg and cheeses and 1 pork roll egg and cheese, got 4 small drinks with it, and it cost just under $40 but the sandwiches themselves were thinner than Nicole Richie after a 10 day fast. One ultra small egg, three pitiful pieces of bacon that couldn't feed a starving Ethiopian, and a gigantic bland tasteless bagel that reminds me of a bigger version of those church wafers. I get that you guys are new around here but it's not a good look when you unwrap your sandwich and it just looks like you only got a bagel and nothing else between it. If you wanna pay for "atmosphere" for your hipster vlogs and terrible Instagram page that will never make you a model or earn you income, maybe this place is for you! But if you're like me and don't care about that and just want to get good food for the price you pay for it, find another cafe. Edit to reply to business owner's comment of this review: I appreciate the family owned business. That fact and the "meanness" of my reviews however has no bearing on how you make your sandwiches. Calling and complaining is quite frankly a waste of my time because while my situation may be rectified, others will suffer the same poor fate. I will call out any deli or cafe that makes these thin "sandwiches" but charges like it's Beverly Hills. Love a good bagel spot! Bean Street is very conveniently located for those living in King's Grant and a very lovely addition to the area. The cafe is super cute and cozy. Everyone who works here has been very friendly and efficient. I've sampled cinnamon toast and cinnamon raisin and while both were great I liked the raisin the best. Pro tip-ask for it toasted twice. Just had a great grubhub delivered breakfast from Bean Street. Greek omelet with feta cheese, tomatoes and spinach..very good. Not greasy and just enough of each ingredient. Potatoes are the same, not greasy. And Larry's baking is soooo good. The cupcakes were light, tender and spicy. I think they were a ginger or apple spice. Nice early morning treat. read more

No exaggeration here, but I visited Bean Street Cafe this morning and it's hands down the best bagel and coffee in town. I went in at about 9:30 AM. There were a ton of customers, but the line moved quickly and there wasn't a long wait. I ordered a vanilla latte and an everything bagel toasted with butter. My order was under $6, which is remarkably inexpensive. I waited about 5 minutes in total. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bagel was the best bagel I have had in a long time. It had so much flavor and it was a large size. It was toasted, but not burnt, which is the best! The latte was out of this world. The cafe is clearly working with high quality food and beverage products. As someone who grew up in Kings Grant, this is exactly what our neighborhood needed. No more will I have to go into Medford or other areas of Marlton when I am in need of a breakfast sandwich. I will 100% be back! read more

I'm beyond upset at my entire experience. I just left bean street after waiting 50 mins for 1 egg sandwich and 1 bagel and cream cheese. That's it. When I walked in there were only two girls in from of me and two tables outside that already had food, but after I sat down I heard one of the girl say how busy they were. they didn't say anything to me about a long wait. As I sat there there a line formed, it was a lot of pick up orders coming, some super obnoxious trying to cut the line and others just waiting. The Two girls ahead of me come back in waiting for the coffee they haven't even received yet, but still had to wait. 10 mins go by and The counter girl walked it to them, and apologized for such a long wait, they seemed annoyed, but fine. I'm still waiting, again still no one said anything to me. My sandwich finally came out of the kitchen, they call my name and hand me the bag. They said nothing, just handed me the bag, no apology, no thank you, nothing, I walk outside open the bag and it doesn't have the bagel in it. The simplest part of the order was missing. I walked back in went right to the counter and they barely cared. waited another two mins for my bagel and left. When she handed me the bagel she did apologize for the mistake. When I got home I opened the bagel and there isn't even enough cream cheese to cover one side of the bagel! I get they were busy, though it doesn't excuse poor quality or customer service. All they needed to do from the beginning is give me a choose of if I wanted to wait 45 mins. read more

The first time I went here, the service was very slow for having no more than 2 other customers in here. Finally got my breakfast sandwich, went home to eat it only to find out it wasn't the pork roll, egg white and provolone that I ordered. Instead, it was regular egg with American "cheese". I gave them another try this weekend, chalking up the first experience as a simple mistake. This second time it took 15-20 minutes for 2 pork roll, egg and cheese's on a muffin to come out. All while other customers that ordered after me had gotten their breakfast sandwiches. I checked in twice and was told it would be right up. Needless to say I had to ask for my $14 back and get out of there since we were now running late to where we had to go. I highly recommend this cafe!! First of all their coffee is well-brewed, organic and high grade! The French toast was the best I've ever eaten with a nice-sized portion! My husband had a pork roll with egg and cheese sandwich which he thought was excellent! The owner was very friendly and gave us free cookies as we were there close to closing time! Recently moved to the area and decided to try Bean Street Cafe. I was very impressed how welcoming they are when you walk. They signed us up for their really cool rewards program. The coffee was also very good. It is a little more then what I would spend on a coffee, but the experience is worth the little extra money.
