At that point, I told her that I had specifically booked a mani AND pedi online and pulled up my booking confirmation to show her. Her response was, "Oh, I don't read. Don't show me that." She then told me they don't look at the online bookings. Then why offer online booking?? What made the experience even more frustrating was watching other people come in after us, some bringing gifts, and they were immediately greeted and seated while we had already waited over 30 minutes despite having an appointment. I ultimately decided to leave without getting my manicure because I wasn't going to continue giving my money to a business that was treating me that way. To top it off, the pedicure itself wasn't even done well. There was polish left on the skin around my toes, and my toenails were clipped unevenly/oddly. I understand businesses get busy and scheduling mistakes happen. What I don't understand is being rude to a customer because YOUR online booking system apparently isn't being checked. If someone books and receives a confirmation for specific services, they should reasonably expect those services to be available or at the very least be told upfront that they can't accommodate them.
