    Burc!

Simply the best! Great beers on tap and a wide selection of cans/bottles to go. Burc and crew are fantastic.

This place invented "laid back." I had one of my favorite beers ever (Lagunitas Waldo.) And who doesn't love shuffleboard!

Rather than checking TapHunter for what's on tap, look up Beer Authority's Facebook page.

We live 3 blocks away. So you'd think, that for Sure the Noise wouldn't be a problem. Right? But When ever they have a "Concert" (mind you this is a small brewery with a parking lot which have bands play on weekends. These bands play outside, so that not only their patrons inside the bar can hear, but that their Parking Lot (filled with patrons) can hear the music as well. And this goes on for 5hrs. We live on 33rd, and every time they have a concert, they not only play for the Bar, but they play to the entire community!!! I Love Music!! But I can't love This Music! Most of the bands are bad, but the ones that are good are still ruined by how loud they choose to play the music! It's one thing to listen to good music, but it's a totally different animal to have a Car sitting outside your house blasting Ghetto Punk Rock. (Wouldn't even matter if the music was good! If we didn't pay for it, why should we be forced to listen to it in our own house!!) We shouldn't have to struggle trying to listen to and watch our tv without subtitles, and not being able to do so because the Bar 3 blocks away has decided to hold a Concert for their small venue like a stadium!! T hat is a little bit A lot Too Much!!! Soo, Dear Hellbent From the Lake City Community: We hope you get over yourselves soon, because your "Joy" is disrupting the entire Lake City Community!! Same as those Preachers dressed in purple shouting over a megaphone and speakers on the corner of Lake City and 130th who had the entire neighborhood calling 911, because it was soo intrusive. And what's funny is that You Guys called 911 about them too. (You told us) When you live 3 blocks away from a bar and it sounds like you're in the front row, there's something wrong there. Why should an entire community pay for your lack of effort in your Sound Department? Seems to me that it's You guys who should curb your sound rather than expecting the entire community to curb our routines in our own homes....just saying. I know, I sound like a Karen. And Maybe I am, but in this instance, we pay too much to live in a home that sounds like we live above a dive bar who take payment from a small handful of people at the Cost of an entire Community. Where is Our Cut?? Seems like We Pay More than You Hellbent!! What do We Get Out Of Your Gains?? Sent by an Irked and Concerned Citizen.

Have always passed this place over the years and finally decided to check em out…read more This place is lk huge lol. Their bar area is centralized w indoor + outdoor seating options circling that area (+ an entire downstairs basement area they use for events e.g. weekly comedy nights, karaoke/DJ seshes, etc). Oh and their bathrooms are comically huge haha But yeah their outdoor seating options are insane. Long tables, patio type couches, fireplace seating arrangement... just a whole array of options yall. Ton of TVs + games such as darts, corn hole, board games, etc. As for beverages. Also helllla options on draft which range from classic offerings like Guinness to more unique things like peanut butter stouts. I wanna say there were like 40+ different types of beer on draft Their food menu featured typical bar options. We went w their mozzy sticks + bone in wings. Tbh nothing special bout them, but they were solid! The best thing bout this place was prob the service. The workers all seemed happy and that reflected back on how they treated their customers yall. Sheeeeesh treated us like family

The European flair and intimate setting (only about 10-12 tables) make it feel like a well-kept secret. The quality is amazing! Everything is locally sourced and prepared with care. It is somewhat difficult to get a reservation, because the space here is very small and packed with tables. The one downside is that it is a little tight and can be difficult to hear. But I'll take that for the opportunity to eat here. And as long as you go in with the mindset that you might drop some serious coin on the meal, you're gonna have a phenomenal time. Because we were so close to our dining neighbors, I was actually able to ask them what they were eating since it looked so good. And that's how we ended up with some mind blowing fritters. A perfect appetizer to start the night. They have a great selection of wines that are actually reasonably priced to buy by the bottle. I'm pretty sure I saw someone taking one home that they drank a few bottles out of also, which is a first. I was impressed by the creativity of the dishes as well. I'm not one to be impressed by cabbage, or ever order it, but the charred cabbage looked enticing. The cheese on the bottom, seasoning, and dates transformed this ordinary vegetable into a star. And of course you gotta see what they're doing with the seasonal veggies. I can't seem to ever cook squash the right way, but they crafted it into the ideal consistency where it was almost meaty. That New York Strip was out of this world though... the garlic sauce that accompanied it was just enough of a flavor enhancer that it didn't take away from a steak that was cooked to the ideal temp. I'll be back for more!!
