These beignets are SUPER sweet! Drove by the Beignet Stand and made a U-turn so I could have my first ever beignet! The Stand is a little shop with an outdoor dining area, so if the San Antonio heat is too much for you I'd recommend ordering to go. The staff members were super kind and our order came out in no time at all. While they were sold out of sandwiches when we went, we were still able to order a bunch of beignets which turned out to be a LOT larger than we expected. Beignets came in threes, so we chose a Classic, a Strawberry, and a Churro Honey Butter. For our drinks we ordered a Blueberry Lemonade and an Orange Blossom Latte with oat milk. The Blueberry Lemonade was tangy and refreshing, while my Orange Blossom Latte was mild in flavor but very sweet nonetheless. The Beignets were absolutely COVERED in their respective toppings. When I bit into the Classic I ended up breathing in a puff of pure powdered sugar because there was so much. The Strawberry had quite a coating of the sugar as well but it fortunately didn't end up overbearing the yummy strawberry jam. The Churro Honey Butter was the only one without powdered sugar, but instead a heavy coating of chopped nuts and, you guessed it, honey butter. They were all incredibly delicious, but I think the Churro Honey Butter was my favorite of the trio. Though I really enjoyed the Beignets, I will caution those who don't enjoy super sugary treats or can't handle too much sugar. After consuming one and a half Beignets and my Latte I ended up having the worst sugar/caffeine crash of my life at the end of a four hour sugar high. I can normally handle a decent amount of sugar, but I was knocked out for the rest of the evening with a CRAZY headache. I'd like to return to try their sandwiches, but am admittedly hesitant to try out the other Beignet flavors despite how delicious the ones I tried were.

Amazing! Stellar! Absolutely delicious!! The beignets are omg mouthgasm soo freaking good! We got the strawberry, Nutella and churro the names says enough. You have to go try to find out for yourself. It doesn't end there the breakfast sandwich and Cubano limited edition Sandwhich omggg it's soo freaking delicious and great portion and flavor! Swing on by no cap this place is bussing! Service is always great and fast, they have outdoor seating and get their coffee beans from estate coffee which is amazing coffee overall this place is a win!
What a find! Beignet breakfast sammies ya'll....sooooo good! More like a sweet bun with the fluffiest souffle-like eggs you've ever had plus bacon, ham or both and a yummy aoli. Absolutely delicious find.
The food was amazing! Beignets as big as my husband hand! The fried chicken is made fresh to order and was not prepared for the flavor. It's marinated or brined it was so good. The clerk was so sweet to explain everything and half my family is lactose intolerant and they had Oatmilk and non-dairy whip. Highly recommend!

I went here in the morning and got specialty beignets and it was soo good I came back with my wife for chicken sandwiches and more beignets. My wife was recently in New Orleans on a business trip and stopped by Café du Monde said The Beignet Stand place was hands down better.
Found this place as I was looking for a quick breakfast running late for work. WOW what a good deal I got here. They're friendly and helpful . I got an iced vanilla late and their bacon breakfast sandwich. Doesn't taste fake or artificial, it's awesome. Would recommend 10/10

Drive thru is a bit tricky on the way it is constructed. The service is amazing. I'm pregnant so I need my eggs well cooked and they offered to accommodate a fried egg instead. I thought that was very generous considering it isn't on the usual menu. The only reason for not 5 stars is because the inside was still runny BUT the effort was there and I appreciate them. Food was delicious regardless.
Picked up breakfast before we headed to bracken-ridge park. We got one of each breakfast sandwich. The egg was so good and fluffy and the beignet was larger than average to hold up the ingredients of the sandwich. It's definitely hearty and will have you wanting to take a nap after. Careful pulling in it's right off the road and pretty busy with the other business around.
Stopped by a beignet stand for breakfast and it was absolutely worth it. We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast beignet, and it was incredible. The egg was so creamy, fluffy, and perfectly cheesy. Definitely something I'd highly recommend trying. There was about a 30-minute wait, but honestly it didn't feel too bad. We grabbed a cup of coffee ORANGE BLOSSOM LATTE , relaxed, and just chatted while waiting. By the time the food came out, it was well worth it. Would happily go back again. read more

Cool place! Very tasty beignets for sure. Very nice touch to SA as you don't find a lot of this kind of stuff here. The staff was nice but seemed kind of in a rush to get us out of there, understood tho! Reason for the 4/5 is the pricing, you pay an extra $2 for a small amount of Nutella on your beignets, seems very unreasonable almost half the price for a small jar and with that I could put a lot more then a little dolp. Overall good but I wouldn't be able to enjoy a special flavor for that extra price! But at least the coffee was pretty tasty. read more
Wow! Just wow I have been to different places in New Orleans including Cafe Du Mont and THIS place is 10x better. They are made fresh to order and it is delicious worth ever penny! I need to come back to try their fried chicken with the beignet bacause it is HUGE. The service was great and the outdoor seating area was nice as well! Will most definitely be back! read more

Really good breakfast sandwiches. I got the ham, egg & cheese. I was nervous about getting it because I had donut sandwiches before and they were super greasy. The breakfast sandwich wasn't greasy. The dough was fluffy & had lots of egg/ cheese/ ham. It was nice and full with all the ingredients. Probably a new favorite. I got an iced mocha & it was good, but I like more chocolate. I ended up adding more chocolate when I got home. That's the only con & that's a personal preference. The stand was super cute. There is parking & seating outside. read more

I used the drive thru which is a bit rough to get into, but I had ordered two breakfast beignets and a latte. I guess the person who took my order didn't hear me correctly so I got classic beignets instead. I called once I got home which is about 20 minutes away, and although they did offer to correct the order, the phone call felt rushed rude and somewhat snippy towards me. I understand accidents happen. I'm grateful that they were willing to correct it. It's also on me that I didn't double check the total and the bag before leaving. I just wish they would've read me my order when I went to pay that way we knew we were on the same page of what I had ordered. Overall disappointed I drove 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back and now I have these classic beignets instead of breakfast for me and my kids. I didn't wanna drive another 40 minute's round trip with my children to get it corrected. However the beignets are delicious as always. read more
We were on our way to the shop two spots down and I saw the sign for this with no line. Immediately doubled back. My go to coffee is Cafe Au Lait and I knew the other spot would not carry it and the Beignet Stand had to serve it. Sure enough it was on the menu! The drink was perfect. We ordered the beignet breakfast sandwiches. Wow were these huge! The egg was so delicious and bacon crispy. Next time we'll share one and get an order of the classic beignets! Service was great! I see they have a drive thru. Anyway do not pass this place up to go two spots down. You won't regret it! read more
5/5 out of this world! This was my first time trying a beignet and I do not know how I will ever live on. Ok, a bit dramatic. But these things are delicious. We got a cream cheese and raspberry one. The raspberry one was sour and light. The cream cheese was what dreams are made of. If I ever come back to San Antonio, I will have to find this stand again. One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is visit the Pearl farmer's market on Saturday! The beignet stand always has a long line, but the wait isn't too long! 2 of their specialty beignets are $5. 2 of their original beignets (just powered sugar) are $4. There is nothing too special about there original beignets. We tried multiple flavors (they always have 2-3 seasonal flavors). I liked the Arnold palmer one and the honey maple one! The Arnold palmer flavor was lemonade and black tea. Points for creativity! The acidity of the lemonade balanced the subtle tea flavor. The honey maple beignet reminded me of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll. Love the crunchiness that the nuts added on top! The dark cherry and blueberry flavors were okay. The service was good. There are lots of seating around that area in the Pearl! read more
Straight indulgence!!! Service was great. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful Ordered specialty beignets and a beignet breakfast sandwich. Again...STRAIGHT INDULGENCE. All items are delicious. Beignets are soft, fluffy, and all what a beignet should be. I wish the sandwich was a little more balanced as it's heavy on the egg. But nonetheless, still delicious. You can't go wrong if you want to treat yourself to something different and that you won't find anywhere else around San Antonio read more

Ok... it's been a bit since I've done a review at a place I really enjoyed and this was the place. If you haven't been you need to check it out!! Fresh strawberry Lemonade on a hot day with a beignet on the side. Also trying a hot and fresh with a beignet burger loaded with grilled onions pickles and cheese melted up and a beignet Chicken Burger. That was the master piece this beautiful and huge fried chicken in between a hot beignet.... Wow I can't explain the explosion of flavor that hits your mouth. It's bigger than my hand. I placed a banana next to it to compare. Don't skip this place if you have been craving a great chicken burger... get it. So worth it!! And let's talk about the service... the person taking your order was so sweet and amazing. Explained the menu and kept checking on us to get us refills. The lemonade was prefect and chilled on this hot day. People please go and support this restaurant on Broadway. It's to cute not to go!!! And enjoy read more

I'm already a super fan of beignets, but getting to NOLA only happens so often. Now San Antonio has a stand that specializes in all things beignet. Rotating seasonal flavors, classic beignets, or jazzed up Nutella, churro or fruity flavors. The stand off of Broadway now has a drive through, or a small patio to enjoy outside. The people working here are so friendly and will explain the flavors. If the craving strikes before the Saturday farmer's market then head over for a fix. read more
Cafe du Monde, you have been beat! So very soft and fresh. The filling is messy but ohhh so worth it. I did not expect to get three fairly large size beignets for $8, and then be asked which flavors, plural. Like being in Willy Wonka's Factory. I think my mind exploded with beignet deliciousness. You'll know by the portion size that you are getting what you paid for! Service was quick and the cashier was so sweet. People are lining up for their early morning fix with no problem waiting. These were all AMAZING! They had a great assortment of flavors, fluffy, great taste, and super warm. The staff was great! They all helped us decide which to try and even shared some specials with us. We always appreciate a staffs recommendation. For a pink lover, I loveddd their outdoor seating! It was so cute! read more
Fresh beignets at a farmers market is an elevated experience. Nothing beats the ambiance of that. This stand is always here whenever I visit the Pearl Farmers Market and there's always a line! The line goes fast though, and the service is incredible. Super friendly and helpful. I love how they have a variety of flavors to choose from and how the beignets are fresh! You can literally see them rolling the dough and frying them in the background. I ordered the churro beignet and the black cherry rhubarb beignet. Both were delicious! The churro one had a thick cinnamon/sugar coating around it while the black cherry rhubarb jam added a nice tartness. I really enjoyed the black cherry rhubarb jam and it was a flavor that I've never tried before! Definitely pretty unique. They say 2 beignets per order, but you can definitely mix and match flavors, which is what I did by getting 2 different flavors. I would give this place a shot if you're ever in the area. read more
