Order area, coffee station and comfortable seating area

I've always wanted to stop in and have a pastry here and I was not disappointed. I ordered the recommended favorite, a yummy , fresh and warmed upon request cinnamon roll. I asked about coffee and was shown to the self serve drip coffee station. They offered small and large coffee options. At the coffee station, a house blend, decaf, Costa Rican and snickeroo blend. Then I sat at one of their nice bistro tables and listened to a book. The cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious and so was the snickeroo coffee. Thank you Broadway Daily Bread!

Food was amazing. There are so many options on what to order. My only criticism is, I wish the employees were a little bit more welcoming. Other than that I had a great experience and will be returning.

I have lived here all my life. I just found out about this place. I'm addicted to the number seven. I have not been able to try anything else. Although I have tried different pastries. The plain cinnamon roll is absolutely delicious. I even bought some for my coworkers. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is OK. The lemon bars are to die for. Now the service. The girls at the counter look so unhappy. Never greet me or thank me. It sucks that they are miserable and work at this fantastic place. I will continue to go back simply because the food is amazing. For some reason, the same guy keeps handing me my sandwich. He's always very nice. Ask me if I need a bag and thanks me. The place looks like your typical Deli. Very open a few tables not sure if I would go to study or get some work done there. It can get a little noisy. But overall, this place is amazing and advise anybody to give it a try.

Love love! Pictures of our favorite items. Love the vanilla cupcake and pecan bars the most. We've also purchased loaves of bread here & the pigs in blanket/sausage rolls. We prefer this location over the broadway location because they serve the vanilla cupcakes here. Staff also very friendly.

Came here looking for some cupcakes to share some cheer to my friend during this unusual time (COVID). I knew she loved Broadway Daily bread but I had never been here. I got a variety of 5 large cupcakes they had (two being red velvet) and then bought 2 minis for my husband. Everyone loved them! Large cupcakes were $3.xxish each but looked delicious. I'll be back to try some sandwiches and other bakery items! I should add I was really happy with their ordering system. They are being very sanitary - you can see the item thru the winder, order outside on the left side with appropriate distancing and then move over to the other side to wait for your items.

This is easily one of my favorite lunch spots in San Antonio! Every time I come here, I'm reminded that I don't come here frequently enough. The sandwiches are delicious, made with the freshest ingredients, served on house-made bread and always filling. I was first introduced to Broadway Daily Bread over a decade ago, when my dad would bring home banana chocolate chip muffins for us for breakfasts, and the quality of there product is just as delicious now, if not better, than before. 10/10 recommend this bakery :)

I got the cheddar bacon scone and the raisin cinnamon roll. I will be going back at the earliest chance I get.

Bakery opens at 5am but they do not have bread available until "maybe" 10am? Just bizarre. Have never heard of a bakery operating this way.

My sister & I bought milk toast, a berry tart, hokkaido custard bun, matcha red bean bun, jalapeño cream cheese, milk tea, & a chocolate bun before going over to the Tesco mart to have some shopping fun. Everything was good & if I did have one near me I'd be 100lbs bigger from binging my favorite Japanese style pastries all the time. The selection here is unmatched.

There were very limited fresh selections available, and many items were still being baked during opening hours. In my opinion, a bakery should open with the shelves fully stocked and ready for customers, especially those of us stopping in early. The prices are reasonable, ranging from about $2.50-$4.00 for both sweet and savory pastries, but price doesn't make up for the lack of availability. I expected to have more options to choose from instead of empty or partially filled displays. For consistency in early morning breakfast items, I could have easily gone to Krispy Kreme, where you know exactly what you're getting when the doors open. That said, 85°C is convenient and their mango smoothies are great. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I wouldn't recommend going first thing in the morning if you're expecting a full pastry selection.

We were given menus to look at while we waited so by the time we got to the counter, we were ready to order. The baked goods aren't on the menu, so when we walked by the counter filled with croissants, kouign amann, bear claws, apple pie, cheese cakes, it was hard to choose what we wanted!! We ordered: the Alamo Burger: a 8 oz wagyu beef smash burger , served with a fried egg, caramelized onions, cheese on a crispy croissant bun. It was incredible and worth the 15-20 minute wait! Almond croissant - a monster sized, flaky croissant with a generous almond filling. Guy Fieri highlighted this croissant on his DD&D show. It's probably a million calories not worth it! Tequila strawberry tres leches croissant - a small, cream filled croissant with strawberries. This was our least favorite. My husband didn't like the filling, I didn't like the sogginess of the croissant. Coffee - really good brewed coffee with free refills. We plan to go back a few more times while we're in town!!

Luckily for me, I went the day after memorial day so the lines weren't that bad and the red carpet laid out in front of the restaurant was all clear. I grabbed a menu before it was my turn to order. It's a lot to choose from and without pictures it's difficult to tell what most of the items are. Especially for a first timer. So, I ordered what the gentleman in front of me had which was a plain croissant with butter. It looked better than it tasted. I chose not to use the butter because the croissant was cold so butter wouldn't take to it well. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and avocado. The eggs were delicious, cooked well and flavored nicely. But my avocados were oxidizing so the presentation wasn't appealing. My husband's breakfast scramble was filled with eggs. cheese, and turkey, but wasn't filled with flavor of any kind. It's a lively atmosphere. Great for large groups. There's seating outside so if you're feeling like sitting amongst pedestrians walking by, it's perfect. The service was slow. Really slow. I overheard they were backed up so by the time my macchiato was delivered I was almost done eating.
