Well the service was good. Ordered take out and it was out in less than 15? Had a tallarín verde and an Inca cola (can) which cost $36? Mind you, I didn't tip because it was already expensive, and I ordered it to go. Again, the prices are way too high and again the food wasn't good. My sauce was watery and my steak was chewy. I had to add the Parmesan to save the plate which I never do when I eat this dish. Also no papa a la huancaina? Anyways I stand by what I said two years ago. The Lomo saltado is good for being in the antelope valley. I just don't like how the owner is very selfish with the sauces. We paid about $70.00 (which is very pricey) for two plates of saltado and a side of yuca frita and when we asked for 4 salsas on the side he refused. He said the plates only come with 1. While driving by I saw a grand opening sign with balloons and stopped in. I rarely have Peruvian food, so I was excited to try something new. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They suggested a Peruvian Gold Cola and recommended a couple dishes. Of course, I chose ceviche. The ceviche was extremely good. The mixed comes with calamari, mussels, shrimp, and fish. Not to mention it has plantain chips, Peruvian Corn (made two ways), and some sweet potato. My only critique is plating presentation should be nicer at this price point. Let's get to the nitty gritty, Lomo Saltado was off the chain. The green sauce was better than anything the hulk can cook up. The lomo was tender and fries were cooked to perfection. The green spaghetti was full of flavor, but to chew through the bistec you'll need jaw strength compared to that of John Cena. The staff were friendly and the overall look of the place was clean, organized and simple. The cherry on top was the jugo de piña or "pineapple drink," similar to a piña colada, minus the alcohol and bad decisions. In conclusion, I'm going back for more and you all should too. read more

My girlfriend expressed a desire to have Peruvian food, and this was geographically close to where we live. First, it's location is a little tricky to find. It is immediately next-door to a restaurant that serves a different type of Latin food. We went in there and sat down and only after we looked at the menu did we realize we were in the wrong place. Anyway, we both ordered chicken. Her chicken did not taste fresh. My chicken, while it tasted OK, was on top of a very large serving of spaghetti and green sauce, so that each bite of chicken had this green sauce on it. I was not a fan of the sauce. And I certainly did not want that much spaghetti. I should mention that I was served 2 to 3 minutes before my girlfriend was served. Unacceptable for a restaurant. I ordered a diet Inca kola, and the gentleman handed me a cold can and a straw. I had to ask for a glass with ice. I had to wait quite a while for the glass, and I soon figured out why. I saw the server carry an empty Styrofoam cup to the restaurant next-door. A few minutes later, he returned with a Styrofoam cup full of ice. He then had to take that Styrofoam cup back into the kitchen in order to put the ice into the glass. Ridiculous. I believe they don't even have an ice machine. Lastly, the restroom floor was sticky. I think for Antelope Valley it's not that bad. the yucca fries was kind of soggy when I got home. It's okay if the ceviche isn't hot but the exaggerating the pepper to get heat is ruining the dish, the garlic is over powering. It definitely gave me a tummy ache. Great Peruvian food and desserts! The drinks are good! They make homemade chicha morada, which is a drink made with purple corn, pineapple, cinnamon, and cloves. They have other beverages such as Inca kola and Peruvian beers. For appetizers, we like the choros a la chalaca. Its mussels with a vinegar base. For food, we like the lomo saltado plate and bisteck with green spaghetti. We usually get two steaks with one spaghetti plate because they give you A LOT of spaghetti. The rice dishes also have a lot of food. For dessert, they offer delicious alfajores and lucuma ice cream that they get from another local business in California. They also have Peruvian candies for purchase. The owner is very sweet and you can tell he really wants you to enjoy your meal! He goes out of his way to make sure you are happy! The lomo saltado had more French fries than anything and the rice was hard! SMH!! I was so disappointed because I miss my regular restaurant in Glendale. I have had Peruvian food usually runs you $15 a plate and this has to be the saddest lomo saltado I have ever had. I called to ask if this is normal or if someone messed up and they said "no that is their normal serving and if I wanted to I could drive back to get another one." After waiting for sometime to get a refill the guy finally came back to see if we were doing ok, and we said yes and if we could get more water. Came here a couple months back, back to when this placed opened. Not in the most centric location. Food was extremely priced so don't be surprised at hefty bill when's it's all said and done, the food does not compare to the prices. The fried Seafood platter was over salted, the ceviche was not fresh at all and completely bland and taste less. The service was about a 2/5 as well becuase I Believe the owners had family over and we're paying most attention to them.
