I originally went in here to get tints put on my new truck after finding the business online. On my first visit I was greeted by knowledgeable sales employees who walked me through a new process and got me the tints I wanted. After a few months one of the windows bubbles due to unknown reasons and my other window had a couple small chips in the tint that appeared to be from some sort of impact to the window. Brought my truck back in on short notice and the warranty covered the bubbled window and they even met me halfway on the chipped window to replace the tint. Lastly, I added a tint strip to the top of my windshield and when I returned to pick it up, the strip was cut too wide and obstructed my view. I pointed this out to the tinter who brought me into the shop to show me their computer cutting system and walked me through how they determined the width. The tinters (KJ and one of his partners) as well as the owner Doug, stayed at the shop late (after-hours) to work on my truck and to recut the strip to my exact liking. I'm not going to say it was a painless process getting the bluetooth to work properly in my car but they worked hard to make sure it happened. Some issues were crazy issues related to my car, others were not, but they did not give up and in the end wound up switching out the bluetooth for a different brand and I have had zero issues since. These guys were Awesome! I got my windows tinted by Cj and Carlos, super speedy and the tint looks fantastic. I got 35 on the front windows and 5 on the back windows of my new 2018 Mazda 3. I had originally called another place but the gentleman told me he has a hard time with the Mazda 3, so when I called the best guys they had no problem with my car, so glad the other company couldn't do it, I don't think it would have come out as good as it did! The nicest, coolest, best service I've ever experienced from a business. I was referred to them by East Bay Auto Spa after my schedule wouldn't work with theirs. The Best Guys said they would remove my old tint and re-tint my, techincally 5, windows that same day and even stayed past closing to finish it in less than 4 hours . Great experience all around, worked with Bryan and he was very helpful with deciding which speakers would be my best options and very accommodating to a request I had to have some extra cord so my sub could be moveable. Coincidently my fuel gauge malfunctioned about a week after I had the work done so I asked if it was possible the electrical work they had done may have had something to do with it and they offered to take a look at it for me, turns out the thing was just stuck but was happy with their response. The Best Guys had done all the tinting on 4 of my cars. They do excellent work I might add and warranty the job for a lifetime if you show them a receipt. I recommended the shop to a friend and he had his VW GTI tinted there as well and he's happy with the work done. Staff is friendly and honest. They called me before laying the tint to inform me of a scratch in the back window of my wagon. And if they continue, the scratch would show over the dark tint. I gave them a go ahead and it turned out, the scratch was barely noticeable. The shop is conveniently located close to Concord Bart station in case you want to drop your car off. Got a groupon deal for front window tinting, high quality and low price. After checking decent reviews, I decided to give them a try. Came in the store and set up appointment date with no hassle. They honored the Groupon and I chose the % tint and everything is very straightforward, they did not try to sell me other products or asked any more money from me. The installation took 2 hours, the result is a pretty clean job, I would say 8.5/10 quality. Bubbles took a week to disappear, but it was still winter time when I got it installed, therefore understandable that it would take that long to cure. I walked out of the store, not paying any more fees, a weird feeling that is. They do audio installs and window tints, looks to be a very reliable place to shop and do installation. Went there for a backup camera wiring installation(has my own equipment). They couldn't figure out how to get the mirror image to show on my monitor. They said that the camera I have might be only for front view so the picture shows left as right and right as left on my screen. Found the owner manual that says the camera can be mounted and set up as either front or backup camera and went back to them. They correct the wiring setup in minutes which took them over two hours the first time when they said they couldn't get it to work right and blamed my equipment. After the second trip, the camera works but realized a day later that they disconnected a wiring cluster for the interior dome light when working on my car and for got to reconnect it back so the dome light stops working. Went back to the shop for the third time to have them fix that. Three trips for a backup camera wiring hookup. I could've messed with it on my own and probably went through similar trouble without having to pay 150 for mediocre work they provided. Nowhere near "The Best Guys" they claimed to be. read more

I had these guys tint my windows and install a sub and amp to my car a couple of years back. Though they did a good job on my window tints, I believe I was somewhat ripped off in terms of my sub and amp (likelihood being cause I was a girl & I had no clue about the products & prices) When friends would ask how much I got the sub and amp, they would ALWAYS reply back on how overpriced I got the install and items for. I asked the friend who recommended me the place how much he got his sub and amp for (which I have to add were bigger than mine and the exact same brand), and he told me he got it for like $200 cheaper. Just picked up my car and absolutely love the tint, as always. I've been going to The Best Guys since high school 15 years ago and they've tinted the windows on 5 of my cars over the years. They did an excellent job on my first car and I've been going to them ever since. I've always liked the same type of look (dark, but not too dark), and they get it right every time. Depending on the interior color of your seats, the color of the tint will have to change to get the desired look. This time around, my seats are a white leather, so we had to go darker on the tint in order to achieve the look I was wanting. I was a bit nervous because we picked a darker tint than I had ever done in the past, but these guys clearly know what they're doing and it turned out perfectly. They took the time to listen to what I wanted, reviewed what I had done in the past, really looked at my car, and guided me to the right choice of tint for me. They nail it every time. I got my window tint done here about 2 years ago. I made an appointment for 9 AM sharp and arrived there early before the place opened. I was quoted that it would be done before 2 PM, so I left the area to get some errands done. I came back around 2:30 PM, and I was told by a employee that my car was still being worked on. Times flies by to around 5 PM, and it was FINALLY done. The rear window had some minor bubbling on top, but they told me that "it'll settle over time." 2 years later, it's still there. The cut of the tint does not sit flush around the edges and it's super noticeable it was poorly done when the windows are down. Like the previous reviewer, I did not receive a card promising the "lifetime warranty." I do, however, still have the receipt but do not intend going back regardless of such extended service because they failed to impress me the first time. Sometimes, that's all you need. Don't waste your time going here. Or your money. read more
