I originally went in here to get tints put on my new truck after finding the business online. On my first visit I was greeted by knowledgeable sales employees who walked me through a new process and got me the tints I wanted. After a few months one of the windows bubbles due to unknown reasons and my other window had a couple small chips in the tint that appeared to be from some sort of impact to the window. Brought my truck back in on short notice and the warranty covered the bubbled window and they even met me halfway on the chipped window to replace the tint. Lastly, I added a tint strip to the top of my windshield and when I returned to pick it up, the strip was cut too wide and obstructed my view. I pointed this out to the tinter who brought me into the shop to show me their computer cutting system and walked me through how they determined the width. The tinters (KJ and one of his partners) as well as the owner Doug, stayed at the shop late (after-hours) to work on my truck and to recut the strip to my exact liking. The nicest, coolest, best service I've ever experienced from a business. I was referred to them by East Bay Auto Spa after my schedule wouldn't work with theirs. The Best Guys said they would remove my old tint and re-tint my, techincally 5, windows that same day and even stayed past closing to finish it in less than 4 hours . These guys were Awesome! I got my windows tinted by Cj and Carlos, super speedy and the tint looks fantastic. I got 35 on the front windows and 5 on the back windows of my new 2018 Mazda 3. I had originally called another place but the gentleman told me he has a hard time with the Mazda 3, so when I called the best guys they had no problem with my car, so glad the other company couldn't do it, I don't think it would have come out as good as it did! Great experience all around, worked with Bryan and he was very helpful with deciding which speakers would be my best options and very accommodating to a request I had to have some extra cord so my sub could be moveable. Coincidently my fuel gauge malfunctioned about a week after I had the work done so I asked if it was possible the electrical work they had done may have had something to do with it and they offered to take a look at it for me, turns out the thing was just stuck but was happy with their response. The Best Guys had done all the tinting on 4 of my cars. They do excellent work I might add and warranty the job for a lifetime if you show them a receipt. I recommended the shop to a friend and he had his VW GTI tinted there as well and he's happy with the work done. Staff is friendly and honest. They called me before laying the tint to inform me of a scratch in the back window of my wagon. And if they continue, the scratch would show over the dark tint. I gave them a go ahead and it turned out, the scratch was barely noticeable. The shop is conveniently located close to Concord Bart station in case you want to drop your car off. I don't feel my tint is as dark as I was told it would be and when I discussed it with them, they told me it was the color of my seats (same color seats in both cars), the sun or different windows. Got a groupon deal for front window tinting, high quality and low price. After checking decent reviews, I decided to give them a try. Came in the store and set up appointment date with no hassle. They honored the Groupon and I chose the % tint and everything is very straightforward, they did not try to sell me other products or asked any more money from me. The installation took 2 hours, the result is a pretty clean job, I would say 8.5/10 quality. Bubbles took a week to disappear, but it was still winter time when I got it installed, therefore understandable that it would take that long to cure. I walked out of the store, not paying any more fees, a weird feeling that is. They do audio installs and window tints, looks to be a very reliable place to shop and do installation. I had these guys tint my windows and install a sub and amp to my car a couple of years back. Though they did a good job on my window tints, I believe I was somewhat ripped off in terms of my sub and amp (likelihood being cause I was a girl & I had no clue about the products & prices) When friends would ask how much I got the sub and amp, they would ALWAYS reply back on how overpriced I got the install and items for. I asked the friend who recommended me the place how much he got his sub and amp for (which I have to add were bigger than mine and the exact same brand), and he told me he got it for like $200 cheaper. I got my window tint done here about 2 years ago. I made an appointment for 9 AM sharp and arrived there early before the place opened. I was quoted that it would be done before 2 PM, so I left the area to get some errands done. I came back around 2:30 PM, and I was told by a employee that my car was still being worked on. Times flies by to around 5 PM, and it was FINALLY done. The rear window had some minor bubbling on top, but they told me that "it'll settle over time." 2 years later, it's still there. The cut of the tint does not sit flush around the edges and it's super noticeable it was poorly done when the windows are down. Like the previous reviewer, I did not receive a card promising the "lifetime warranty." I do, however, still have the receipt but do not intend going back regardless of such extended service because they failed to impress me the first time. Sometimes, that's all you need. Don't waste your time going here. Or your money. read more

The stock stereo in my VW was messed up when I bought my car. Being a 2004, it didn't have all the bells and whistles that new stereos have, like Bluetooth and Pandora. The radio antenna adapter was broken by the last person to work on the car. The only thing that worked was the tape deck, which I hooked an adaptor to, that ran to my phone and ate up my monthly data allowance. I went to a big box store and was met with blank stares about the antenna. After going through the list of parts, the owner came and told me he could just solder a new connection but AM might not work. This weekend I picked up my car. How I wish I did this a year and a half ago, when I bought the car. The big box store quoted $387, but the install wouldn't have been done correctly. At $450, I'm thrilled with the quality of the install and Kenwood stereo! The installer came out and showed me how the stereo worked when he was done. The AM also works because oof the quality of the solder job. My daughter's car needs a tint and stereo and I will be returning. read more

Wonderful experience, from start to finish. I bought my son a 350z for his birthday, and wanted to add a little 'thump' to it before we surprised him. I checked out installers (only independent-haven't seen great quality from Best Buy, etc.) all over the area. Walked into Best Guys and spoke with Jim. He was low-key, didn't try and oversell, and didn't flinch when I told him I had some of my own gear I wanted installed. Fast-forward a couple of weeks...I had the install done yesterday. Super clean, super tight, and it sounds incredible. One of the guys from the shop gave me a ride back when I dropped off the car, and picked me up when it was done. Had my MINI Cooper Countryman's windows tinted here. They were able to take me on a walk-in basis and under 3 hours I had tinted windows. I appreciated the fact they do not cut-the tint within your car. No disaster from cut trim pieces. When explaining the difference options, they also explain what would or wouldn't be considered legal. I preferred to stay on the legal side. Daisy, the dog, gave me a great welcome when I arrived. They were fully booked on the upcoming weekend so we scheduled for the next Saturday. After receiving my tint I was instructed precisely on what to do for the next few days while the tint baked. I came here for an alarm install. They appeared very disorganized, clicking away on the computer for at least 15 minutes trying to find something. Finally their tech comes out and we walk over to my truck. He was very professional and I could tell he knew his stuff. We go back to the office and they waste more time, making me wait for a quote. They print the quote for their most basic one way viper alarm and the price is ridiculous. They charged me $240 for a $60 alarm. Some small markup I can understand but this much is way too much. $600 for a basic one way alarm installation, disorganized and wasting my time? I don't think so. Update: I received a few calls from the owner. He has been trying to earn my business and making an effort to offer me a good deal. This is a good sign, it means that they actually care about the business reputation and will strive to make customers happy - earned one extra star. read more
