I found out about this restaurant using Too Good To Go app. I reserved two evening surprise bags and didn't know what to expect. When we got to the restaurant and showed the employee my order info, she grabbed a to-go container, and put white rice, black beans, corn, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes. When we got home, we made tacos using store bought tortillas and chili sauce. The food was delicious. Would love to try their other food next time.
The owner told us he would make me the best burrito I've ever had and he definitely delivered! I let him do his thing and it was like watching a chef prepare my meal. He takes great pride in his foods and it is apparent in the taste. The guacamole is perfect as well especially with the plantain chips. A beautiful place to sit and chill.
They have quick fresh service. I recommend the steak. The burritos are huge and very filling, so you'll have left overs. So if you're hungry and it's late, I recommend
Establishment is location in a plaza with plenty of parking. Went for dinner around 7 on a Friday and the place was pretty much empty. The decor was really nice but the tables were dirty for previous customers. I had to clean my table off. There a machine on the wall to order food but the servers behind the counter took my order. Unfortunately, servers were unable to explain certain things due to language barrier. Next time I'll read the menu beforehand because I also felt rushed to complete my order. The food was okay, not special about it. I didn't like the lack of sauce selection for the rice bowl I ordered. The sweet plantains had a weird taste, that I couldn't describe. The chicken was a little dry. Meal didn't include a drink, so I had to pay an additional four dollars for a small lemonade. I might give this place another try.
Really, really yummy tacos! Not the street tacos you're expecting - they are grilled with cheese and meat inside! Very indulgent. The topping bar is so fresh as well - cilantro, pico, jalepenos, etc! Their menu was a little hard to understand, but I really don't think you could go wrong! A "basket" is a taco salad, the "taco platter" is essentially a bowl, and it's a LOT of food! The "Royos" is a burrito. And I described the tacos above! They do have beers/alcohol. Walkable to from nearby hotels. Friendly and fairly quick service. Good prices ($11-$17 for a meal). The sides of rice and beans and again huge portions - share them! Cute dining room, seats about 10 groups! Overall a great, casual vacation stop!
Just delicious! Quiet and clean restaurant in a strip mall. Owner is so kind and engaging! Taco platter was so fresh and good! Small Plantain bites were sweet little gems of flavor in my bowl. Guacamole was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back!
This is essentially Chipotle, but it feels more authentic to Mexican food. The food was okay. I did like that when you dine in there, they provide customers actual dishware that can be reused by the restaurant, unlike Chipotle. The service was okay. It didn't seem like they were that happy to serve us since it was our first time there and we were unfamiliar with the menu. That didn't make me feel quite welcomed. I ordered the Basket (big bowl) and my boyfriend ordered the Authentic Street Tacos (3).
After checking into my hotel in Miami, I ordered food here via DoorDash. I got the 3 birria street tacos and the chips with queso, pico, and guac. I loved all of my food so much! The quac was excellent and the queso was unlike any other queso I had before! The queso does come cold, so make sure you have a way to heat it up. Also, no cutlery provided so a little food went to waste unfortunately without it as not everything fit right in the tacos. That would be nice if they provided some cutlery and napkins. But it didn't ruin my experience. Food was excellent and I wish it were local to my home.
Food arrived to my hotel quickly. Portions were good for the price. Birra was a little dry worked out well having the extra side to Pico.
This is an unbelievably good location to have tacos! WOW! Those street tacos are on point. Grilled with the melted cheese, protein, and onions with cilantro. Talk about amazing. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They do one order at a time. The food is fresh and hot. The flavors are amazing! I stopped for lunch once and got traditional tacos and they were great. Went back a week later and tried the street tacos and that's my new go to. The bowls look phenomenal too. Just can't get past the street tacos to try them. This is a place you MUST try. Close to the airport, come to Here and try it. Even if you're a little distance from this location, it's a hidden gem and you should try it. The location is well lit. Decent seating. Overall very good. The food is a little pricey...but the flavors are there. Amazing amazing amazing!
Great spot for authentic tacos and delicious Mexican bowls. Birria Tacos 10/10 Chicken Tacos 10/10 Service was fast and friendly. The Mexican music was wonderful and made the experience even better. The bathrooms were clean as was the restaurant overall. Can't wait to come back!
Servers were so helpful with guiding us our first time here. Street tacos were amazing and overloaded with meat! Everything we ordered was top notch!! I highly recommend this place. Great for kids too. Such a cute cozy place with reggaeton playing. Super close to the airport also. Loved it! The owner said he makes the paleto bars himself and so we tried them & they were divine!!
Ordered this via uber eats so my review is just on the food and I guess their go to container. I got birria tacos, chips with guac, chili chamoy Mexican gummies and orchata to drink. The tacos are A+. They come with like an aoli sauce or something. They delicously messy and it was difficult not to eat all three through my full pains. Chips and guac were well chips and guac. I feel there's no going wrong there except maybe the guac but the guac was good and kept well in the fridge when I put the container top back for several hours. Usually guac gets yucky by then but this kept well on my fridge with their to go container. The orchata was actually delicious. I say this cause usually I don't really like orchata but I always feel like it should be something I like so I keep ordering it whenever places have it and this is the first place I've actually liked and finished. This alone gives them the 5 stars. Lastly I had the gummies. It's the type of gummies I usually don't like but I guess with the chamoy it makes it goood. This is the perfect kind of desert for me since I usually don't like desert but I love candy. Overall great food and super filling. I basically ate only this meal throughout the day and still had candy left over by the end. Next time I want to check out the restaurant but food alone I recommend! Update: Went in person. Updated some photos for the view of the place. 1) place is cute with some mild decorations. The way the front looks is like cafeteria style (or if you prefer an example kind of like Chipotle). 2) a women helped me and a friend. She was super nice and patient. Even checking if we were going to pay together or separate after she took my friends order so she can charge ahead and then make my food. 3) I tried this time 3 regular street corn tacos, steak. I put both the Cilantro and jalapeno sauce. Delicious! Also of course I couldn't come here without my orchata drink. This place will be my new go to for orchata. Note: my friend didn't like it, he said it was too creamy but maybe this is why I like it ? I also tried the orchata paleta and omg was it good. Apparently it's a seasonal thing so try and grab one this week! Otherwise they'll probably have another flavor available. I saw they had starberry and some others that are probably permanent. Definitely gonna be a nice go to spot to have lunch or dinner with friends. Highly recommended.

Headed out on the Icon tomorrow and needed some dinner. The Better Taco was worth the 6 hour drive today! The food was outstanding! While the menu looks a bit limited, it has infinite possibilities and combos. I had the taco platter with carne asada. Each item that I chose for the platter was fresh and delicious. The frijoles rojo were the tastiest I have ever had, the plantains were, too. The platter was filled to almost overflowing. The accompanying tortillas (4 street taco size) tasted freshly made. I chose the chipotle sauce to add to my tacos. It was the right combination of smoke and heat. Delish! My husband had a carne asada burrito which once he added all of the toppings, was huge! He said it was excellent. This place is quite close to the airport so even if you have a short layover in Miami, it is worth your time to ditch the subpar airport food and indulge in some taco tastiness! read more

I visited this establishment a few weeks ago and it was amazing. It's located in a strip mall type of area. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in the inside and has a Mexican vibe. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the taco platter and it was a lot more food than I expected. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely go back. read more

I've been here more than a couple of times and I have to say I like! Me gusta! (I'm holding off the fifth star because it been only takeout and I haven't been able to try their desserts and or boozy stuff). This is the kind of place I call "paint by the numbers". You get a bowl, burrito or no carb. I enjoyed brown rice, black beans (they're cool and will give you an extra helping), fresh tomato, pico and cilantro. An advantage they have over their national competitors whose name begins with a C is that their toppings and sauces show us with a significant sweet tooth some love. That's right - you can do like I did and add sweet plantains "maduros" to your bowl. One of their sauces is also pineapple. Very much a yes! The cashiers who have helped me are always pleasant and with great recommendations and condiments. read more

Food? Chef kiss. The tortilla is fresh, toppings were amazing. And what really won me over is the homemade sauces, so tasty! Was already full from the huge portions but still grabbed dessert and that was amazing. I see reviews about people saying the ladies don't speak English which I experienced as well but there was a guy there who speak English who was really helpful and explained everything. read more

The Better Taco is a hidden gem in the Springs. Stopped by to get lunch to go - a simple cheese quesadilla with a side of guac. The quesadilla was nothing too special but the chipotle sauce that came with it was delicious (with a kick)! Guac was good too. I found it a bit overpriced at almost $18 including tax and tip but I'd give them another try. The inside is clean and nicely decorated, and it wasn't busy when I came by on a weekday lunch hour. read more

Ordered The Better Taco on UberEats the other night and was very satisfied! I ordered a chicken royo, I believe they call it, but its the same as a burrito! All of the ingredients were very fresh and I like that they have unique fillings such as maduritos to go inside the royo. The royo is also very large. I think two people can eat this unless you are very hungry! I literally made it into two meals! Another thing I enjoyed was their sauces. I cant remember the names of the ones I tried, but one was spicy and I think the other one was called cremosa. I love sauces and this definitely made the meal that much more special. I will def try the tacos next! read more
