    Quesabirria

Stop talking about Talkin' Tacos and just go there already! This fast casual spot has a menu that has your staples: tacos, quesadillas, bowls, burritos, salads. Then there's the various proteins (or veggies). Simple enough, until you realize the menu looks so good you want to try everything! The quesabirria is a birria-filled quesadilla, topped with cilantro and onions, with a side of consommé and chips. A huge portion (too much to each at lunchtime, so it'll also be dinner), delicious, flavorful, and tender birria, and just enough salty tortilla chips to break up the richness of the quesadilla. I am used to my consommé being a little bit thicker, but it's still a great accompaniment. It came out quickly, so no long waiting. And the interior is so chic: Gives me "Day of th Dead" vibes with its dim interior lighting with pops of neon colors.

This place doesn't look like and place where you go to eat from outside. But the minute you enter, there is another world inside creating a total different kind of ambiance. Everything is halal and for foodies like us, this was just amazing, especially as we are suckers for Mexican food! The portions was great and the service was excellent. The only thing that bother a little bit was coming in with shorts and tshirts. Let's just say that the AC is too good, so wear a hoodie. Will be coming again for sure! By the way, a lot of parking as well so zero stress in that department. Kids loved it and so did we! Very attentive and courteous staff made an awesome experience

Birria rice bowl! So good and tortilla bowl was nice and crispy!

Soooo good! I visited four times when I was in Miami for a 3-week business trip. The best in order was: #1- Birria Rice bowl! This was OMG heavenly! #2- Birria tacos. I really liked these. Highly recommend. #3: Birria Grilled cheese. Didn't blow me away but it was good. I got a side of queso, which was good but it doesn't reheat well the next day. #4: Steak burrito. Flavor 8/10. It was a big burrito. Fell apart and was messy. Advice: eat it on a plate. I will definitely return for the Birria rice bowl. I also tried the refried beans. Good flavor. Could be kicked up a notch with some cheese and diced onions, maybe a little Birria sauce to punch it up a bit.

I've been a fan of Talkin' Tacos since the food truck days, and I've always loved their food. But ever since they opened their first location in Pembroke Pines, the tacos haven't been hitting the same. I was excited when they opened the Doral location since it's much closer to me, and at first their tacos were top notch. My go to orders were always the birria tacos and the shrimp tacos. Unfortunately, recently the quality just hasn't been what it used to be especially considering the prices. I'm not a big fan of the chicken tacos, and the steak tacos are a miss for me as well. The steak doesn't taste like high-quality meat and tends to be dry. I really wish they would improve the quality of their proteins. As for my usual favorites, the last two times I ordered the shrimp tacos, they had a strange flavor and were really soggy, which was disappointing. On top of that, it seems like they may have new employees because service has become noticeably slower. We waited almost an hour for about 50 tacos, which is unusual since they're normally pretty fast. Talkin' Tacos is still one of my favorite spots, and I'm really hoping the quality goes back to what it used to be. If things improve, I would absolutely raise my rating to five stars. But for now, I'm giving it 3 stars due to the inconsistency in food quality and the long wait times.

This place was extremely mediocre and probably the worst Mexican restaurant I've been to in Miami. The set up is pretty simple you order at an iPad and then they bring you the food to the table. The food was nothing special or out of this world, it was overpriced and very underwhelming. I would recommend any other place than this one when it comes to Mexican food. Didn't even bother taking a photo of my food.

Lived Talkin' Tacos, so yummy!! Loved that is open late, nothing like late night tacos service was quick and on point. I've dined in, but mostly had take out, the lights are a bit too much for me. Other then that, it hits the spot!

So glad to have this spot in the neighborhood! You order on an iPad and the food gets brought pretty quickly. The music is pretty loud which can be distracting, but I personally loved it haha. We ordered: Horchata: 5/10 - wayyyyyyy too sweet and thick for my taste (and I love sweet things). I would pass on this. Nachos: 9/10 - I love these nachos! They're so flavorful and the serving is amazing for the price. The only thing to flag about this is that they don't come with enough chips. I had to ask for more on the side. Carne Asada tacos: 9/10 - not much feedback on these, they were yummy. Fish tacos: 5/10 - the fish did not have much flavor at all, but the sauce was good. Would pass on these too. Would come back!

So far from everything that I'm ordered taste great, it has a little bit of a sweet side to it but unless you're a salty sweet person and you're gonna like it if you're more as salty person, I would recommend adding some hot sauce or something to it because it gives it the balance but Everything so far is amazing definitely get it again!

My son Ezra and I decided to check out Talking Tacos as my fiance, his mom ,was talking about it. She had never been but heard good things and thought it looked great sooooooo we decided to ck it out. We were the near the Doral location ( there are several including Wynwood, Brickell , and North Miami ). We found a parking space in the open parking lot that's within the little mall that it's located in, which is always a bonus when you don't have to worry about finding a place to park. The atmosphere and ambiance is awesome. A Day of the Dead theme with meticulous attention to decor. You step up to an automated machine to place your order which is relatively easy to navigate and has great descriptions of all the menu items which is vast a lot of creativity on the menu. Ezra is a vegetarian so he elected to try the Takis burrito, that's right as in the Takis chips that everybody loves so much. We split the loaded fries and I decided to go with an old staple to see how they pulled it off with some carne asada street tacos. As we were celebrating his end of the school year and advancement into jjunior high we treated ourselves to some of their loaded churros. We washed it all down with a mango lemonade and a mystic lemonade ( tropical fruit flavors with a twist. Here's how it all broke down : Price- $72.00 and change. Yes expensive when you really think about the fact that we had tacos a burrito and two drinks and some churros. Service - you are given a number and they bring it to your table the loaded fries came out pretty quickly a little while later the drinks and 25 minutes later my tacos. Food - The Takis burrito- although tasty overall it was underwhelming a very small amount of Takis on it and a lot of cheese beans and everything else but Takis. Carne Asada Tacos - three larger street tacos with a fried crispy tortilla cilantro onions and a very flavorful steak aside from how long I waited for them and how much they cost they were pretty good. The dranks - Mango Lemonade was good , pretty straightforward a bit sweet but a nice mango punch. Mystic Lemonade- overall tasty kind of muddled on Flavor with a strong mango taste. The Loaded Fries- Fries, Cheese Sauce, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Avocado Salsa, Garnished with Crushed Takis and Cilantro. This clenched them the four-star review Thanks to Ezra I would have went three stars but these fries were delicious crispy and hot were the nice mixture of all the above ingredients came together beautifully and a huge portion this is enough for several people to split. Loaded Churros- very decadent but delicious crushed Oreos peanut butter sauce a few other things that don't come to mind and for some reason at the moment it's not on their menu anymore but nonetheless very good. Hot Sauces - one habanero one jalapeno green and one Cayenne all very tasty nice Heat point and complement all the dishes they're on the tables as you sit. And review it was a pretty good experience overpriced and not the best timing on the food coming out together. The four stars again is thanks to Ezra he's more generous with those than I am but we enjoyed it and would be willing to try one of the other locations.

5 Stars - A Wildly Tasty Twist on Birria Tacos! If you're looking for a traditional birria taco, this isn't that--and honestly, I love it even more for that reason. This place takes birria and gives it a bold, creative twist that somehow works way better than it should! The tacos were crispy, juicy, and packed with layers of flavor I wasn't expecting. The consomé? Absolutely drinkable. And the options? Let's just say they're not afraid to have fun--unexpected but somehow perfect. Think bold spices, surprising textures, and just the right amount of weirdness to keep you coming back for more. If you're a fan of birria and love a little adventure, this is the spot. Highly recommend if you're into quirky, crave-worthy food that breaks all the rules (in the best way).

We got in late from a flight and was looking for a place open later than midnight. Thanks to the few reviews this new place has we decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint. When you enter you order at little kiosk and if you eat there they will bring your food to your table. The restaurant has black lights and neon glow paintings on the walls and table which is a nice unique atmosphere. Both the girls working were super friendly and welcoming. They have tacos, burritos, nachos etc Starters Elote(corn in cup) It's not mayo forward which allows for you to be able to taste each ingredient such as cilantro and lime and takis not spicy Jalapeno queso and chips cheese is thick so it stays on your chip, cheese has a pronounced jalapeno flavor but not too spicy. Overall great flavor Birria grilled cheese was amazing. Soft yet toasted Texas toast, could use a tad more cheese but overall fantastic flavor on the meat and perfect size. Come with fries and tomato soup. My only complaint is the soup reminds me more of a marinara sauce than a soup. I would personally rather have consume to dip it in. Birria ramen what a unique concept. Ramen should only be eaten this way. Hubby raved about how delicious it was. Imagine ramen noodles in a package elevated to a whole new level with Birria meat and consume. Give it a try it's worth it. Dessert was cookies and cream tres leche cake which is a milk soaked cake. I didn't really get the cookies and cream flavor because there was an overpowering cinnamon flavor. But overall wast too bad. Overall next time I'm in Miami area this will be my go to spot.

Doral just leveled up with the new Talkin Taco location! I've been a big fan for many years and I love to see that there is now location close to home. I love how convenient it is to order and how fast the services. All you have to do is walk up to the kiosk, place your order, sit down, and the food comes to you. My go to are always the birria tacos, the street tacos, and the quesadilla, but every time I go back to a location, there is always something new and exciting on the menu. This time I leveled up with the Birria Taki Tacos! OMG they were so good, and now officially one of my favorites on their menu. The ambience is super cute. Great for friends and family. And I always love how they decorate. It's just so fun!

    Suppose to be birria tacos

Always go to your location because it's the best, well not tonight!!!! Came home from a trip directly to pickup food and I requested no takis on my birria tacos and what did I find?! Takis and no consume! And I think these are not even the birria tacos, I'm so upset!

Mauricio was at the bar and we definitely missed being under his attention by not sitting there. Eliezer (the Venezuelan waiter from Mérida) took care of us in the dining room. Both are always very friendly and attentive. This time we decided to sit in the dining room because we were a group of three and had a lot to talk about. The place has 4 TVs and we were able to enjoy the France vs Spain match. We all ordered La Tropical Draft beer, a light, smooth, and very refreshing blonde. In total we had 16 beers . We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

In the middle of the table are an array of sauces (5 or 6?) to add to tacos. But be wary- some are VERY spicy (and I like spice). Their margaritas are a bit on the sour side for my taste but I love the agua de jamaica. I have to confess that I always intend to try other types of tacos and the other dishes they have to offer but always stray to my tried and true favorite (sorry piggies). Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. As the banner on the app says, MEXICAN FOOD MADE WITH LOVE, and our visit proved it.

BEWARE: Before I get to the food; the waitress is manipulating the system to receive more of a tip…read more My food total charge with tax was $60 and change, I left a $10 and change tip. When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.
