Sweetest, smiling waitresses who call you Darling... reminds me of growing up in North Carolina & Virginia. As a Carolinian, I am always in search of a legitimate biscuit. These were decent. The breakfast was delicious eggs perfectly prepared, quality sausage patties, grits, and some milk gravy. Solid. Vibe is pleasant with all the nice waitresses. Like the Arnold said... I'll be back

Stopped in again recently and had a great experience. Seated immediately, menus, water, and coffee at the table right away. I like the atmosphere, decorations, open setting. We had the Eggs Benedict with potatoes, and Western Omelet with added jalapenos. Everything came out hot and the potatoes were the perfect amount of crisp! Nice serving sizes as well. I have to mention the service. Our server kept our coffee mugs full and the manager stopped by twice to ask how things were going, Now for the menu! I have to go back because I LOVE some of the names they gave entrees and I must try them! The "3 Car Pileup" breakfast platter, the "Dark Side" pancakes, and Omelets named, "Popeye" and "The Titanic". The Big Biscuit is now on my short list of favorite breakfast stops.

First time at The Big Biscuit, did I order a biscuit, nope! When we entered we were greeted and seated quickly! The vibe was very rustic and cozy. Immediately received menu and got the coffee started. It was hit and delicious. We couldn't really decide what to get from this carb filled menu, so we decided to split a plate/platter of pancakes. The buttermilk pancakes were big and fluffy and had a sweet taste. Food came out hot and I forgot all about pictures, we dung in. Everything was delicious and fulfilling. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was cool. I'll go back and bring more friends.

We've been twice now and both times the food was amazing. The service is good and love the amount of space the restaurant has.

My husband and I came here for the first time for an anniversary celebration weekend. We started out with salted caramel coffees. They tasted really watered down and were mostly ice, hardly any coffee in them, tasted mostly like cream. Would never order again. We (well just me) started with the Cronuts that I saw all the other reviews rave about. Omg soooo good. I would come back just for these. I had the burrito and my husband had the ranchero Bowl. Both were good but pretty basic. His came with a biscuit and it was so yummy as well and huge. Overall, wouldn't come here for their regular breakfasts or coffee but would return for cronuts or biscuits. Maybe get takeout and coffee somewhere else next time

The place was quiet and the service was fast. The biscuit was so soft on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. The loaded potatoes were great but a little too much cheese for my taste. My friend got the chicken and waffles and it was nothing to write home about.

Biscuit & gravy - SO good!!

Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.

Chef Kevin Lee took his original Korean fried chicken concept and evolved it into this upscale Korean steakhouse that somehow feels trendy, comforting, and wildly creative all at once. We ate our way through dishes like: Tteokbokki with wagyu ragu Sweet potato burrata Incredible cocktails Korean-inspired steaks cooked perfectly Every single plate had intention behind it. Nothing felt thrown together for social media hype. This was flavor first. And somehow after all of that...that banana pudding still stole the finale. Nearly impossible to finish, but absolutely impossible to stop eating. Also, Tony gave some of the best service I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire dinner feel like an experience instead of just another table turn. A lot of people forgot about Birdie's after the buzz around Maht exploded, but trust me...this spot deserves your attention. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits.
