I love it when pizza places offer the option of pizza by the slice and the Big Slice offers exactly that. Once you enter the dining room is much bigger than it looks from the outside. Stopped by this place per recommendation while in the area and they did not disappoint. The place is very clean the staff are very polite and didn't mind educating on the menu and items available as I'm from out of town. Got few slices and 3 different knot varieties every bite was just what you would want. The bathrooms are spotless even bigger plus, divining area was clean and friendly and calming. It's A plus experience for me everyone has their own experiences however if I was in the area wanting pizza and didn't want to try a new place I'd come back here for sure. read more

I've eaten at this place, quite a few times...and always thought: The place is ok...but doesn't blow my socks off...it's pizza...but isn't something I think "Oh, I have to have it today". But today and at this location, it was really really good. The key I think....is to get a really "hot out of the oven" pizza. If you get that hot piece of pizza....you'll like this pizza way better! Decided to give this location a try because we have enjoyed the Sunshine location in the past. We ordered the Margarita Pizza wanting to go with the fresh mozzarella. It was NOT what we were hoping for. Upon being handed the box, I could already tell I was going to be disappointed. It felt like nothing was in there. They had shaved the mozzarella so thin, it might as well not have been on there. The disappointment of the lack of toppings was one thing. The cardboard texture of the pizza itself was another. I thought the saving grace would be the garlic "knots" that we ordered. I was not too happy with those either. They are just little balls of pizza dough. No thought put behind them to actually be knots. The one thing we did enjoy was the butter cake for dessert. That's why this review is not a 1 star. Next time I want a quality pizza for the same price, I'll just go to Pappo's. read more

I found this place on accident but am glad that I noticed it. I am a big fan of new york style pizza and over-sized slices! I ordered a slice of the supreme rule and garden of eaten. Both were a delight and over loaded with toppings! Yum!!! The garlic knot was tasty too!!! read more

We ordered a pepperoni pizza for pickup; for a size @18", it barely had any pepperoni pieces ... 10?! Really?! Even the cheese was thin and so was the marinara sauce. While the dough/pie itself was good, we are disappointed about the rest qualities. read more

I would describe this place as mid. My group decided to try big slice because it seemed like a hole-in-wall type place. The ambiance was okay, there wasn't much to look at besides the ghetto looking bar. I don't drink so I cant say much about the bar. But like I said the bar didn't look fun inviting or enjoyable. And that pretty much goes for the whole place. The 2 girls working the place seemed ok. I wouldn't say they were the nicest. One girl said she was going to the coffee left with gloves on. Came back with the same gloves on. She probably touch a couple door handles a card reader and I didn't see her change her gloves. kinda sketchy but whatever. We ordered 3 plain cheese pizza's and 1 deluxe, garlic knots (wouldn't recommend overpriced in my opinion) bone in wings and 3 sodas. That was 37$ Almost 40$ for some pizza. thats wack. I probably wouldn't come back just for the price alone not to mention that the toilet in the women's restroom was not screwed all the way down. Several times we've been ordering right before closing and are always allowed to come last minute and still get excellent food, they're very accommodating. The appetizers we ordered were tasty, and the square pan pizza we ordered was good too. The place was clean, and the staff seemed helpful. Do not order the Sriracha Ranch wings. There is no flavor and they will argue and be rude with you when you call because they taste like plain chicken nuggets. There's no crispness and came soggy. They told us to just order additional sauce the next time we order even though there was no seasoning/flavor in the ones we received. The Stromboli we received wasn't even fully cooked and was soggy also. Had to finish cooking after received because it was soggy. I would definitely not recommend. read more

Not happy with the online ordering interface, pizza, and worst of all was the poor customer service after I called to inquire about the issue. The sauce was nonexistent and the was no cheese on the pizza. Speaking to the manager she said you can't see the sauce (or taste it apparently) and we had to request cheese to be put on it.
