Made an appointment and today met Matthew and had my front and rear brakes done, along with a oil service. I was completely pleased with Matthew and his wife who was helping out in their office. Both owners have been certified as Master BMW Technicians, are extremely knowledgeable and have worked at BMW dealerships for many years, before opening their own shop this past October. My experience today was this is one exceptional solid place to take your BMW for any and all repairs and services performed by these two experts. The Bimmer Guys is my new place to take my BMW for any future work. There is also a coffee shop just up the street, how convenient. They use top notch parts and products. I recently took my 335i to The Bimmer Guys for some repair work alongside a few regular scheduled maintenance items. They were fast, friendly, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. Their labor rates are considerably lower than dealerships and they have a far greater attention to detail. Being a small independent shop, they have the ability to actually assess issues as opposed to a dealer who only checks for fault codes to identify problems (often incorrectly). These two BMW Technicians are top notch! Why have I been taking my 2015 BMW 528i to the dealerships! They are better! Honest, reliable, trustworthy and top notch work..at very reasonable pricing. I finally had a chance to bring my 2011 328i Sportswagon today since my CPO maintenance program expired. I found the shop via Yelp and had bookmarked them for a while. I got good vibes from Anil on my first call and glad to say his work and service did not disappoint! It turned out a bad coil was the cause of the hesitation issues at acceleration. Let me just start by saying that I am not that kind of person who writes reviews. In fact, this is my first one! I really had to get online and create a yelp account to write this review, because The Bimmer Guys really impressed me. This is absolutely the best place to take your BMW in! No doubt! I got engine light on my 2004 X3, and took it for diagnostic (cost of $250) to one of the shops in San Mateo. The estimate they gave me was $2,060.00 in labor plus $1,188.50 parts, which is $3,248.50 total.. Intuitionally I didn't believe this verdict, kept searching online, and found these guys. They got my trust from the first call. So, I brought my car in. Everything was done in 3 hours and cost me only $550.00 labor plus $660.00 parts. It turns out that my car was needed less repair and just software update! All fault codes gone. Smog check passed with no problem! My old bimmer runs like new now! I am very happy that I found this place. Super professional and incredibly honest! I would not just highly recommend, but insist every BMW owner to give them a try. Best place to take your BMW. I took my 2007 BMW X5. For inspection and I had washer fluid leak also every couple of months i had to add a quarter of oil. So they did the inspection and they checked the car. So they said the washer fluid tank is fine and they found a leak in the upper radiator hose. They fixed that. Also they recommend to add a fluid with the oil to fix the Burning of the oil and I did work. Great place and great customer service. I will go again. read more

Best experience I've ever had from any auto repair shop! I took my 2011 BMW 135i in for a misfire issue and some fluid changes. At first I called over the phone and let them know I would like to get a walnut blast done. They had the best price for this service and were able to get me in the next day. When working on my car they took a look into my engine and realized this was not the issue and there was no need to do a blast (this saved me a good amount of money). Instead they traced down the problem to a cracked spark plug and replaced it the same day. Overall, the guys took great care of me over the phone and in person. They are very honest as they easily could have charged for a walnut blast along with spark plug (this has happened to me before at a different shop). Not to mention they have very reasonable prices and they don't milk their customers wallet. This is the only shop I will be coming back to for any work with any of my cars. Thanks again! read more

So after my service warranty expired on my 2008 328i, I was in dire need of a REPUTABLE, BMW certified, auto repair specialist. After searching on Yelp, I stumbled upon this 5-star establishment. I've been here on 3 separate occasions for BMW service (which is their absolute specialty) and left satisfied each time. They do excellent work. But beyond that, they are extremely honest. It's for this reason that I consider myself a returning customer. Anil - the owner- is sooo chill and really goes the extra mile. And for the level of service and the prices of the parts (there's no getting around the cost of BMW parts), the prices are very fair...and a helluva lot cheaper than BMW! After owning 2006 BMW 325i for several years, I realized the leaking on the valve cover was getting worse and worse. When I brought the car to the dealership for recall, the technician informed me right away about the burning oil smell which was a telling symptom of valve cover gasket issue. In the midst of Corona virus debacle around late April, I finally decided to bring the car for fixing. I was surprised that the process of initiating the service with BimmerGuys Dan and Matt were very smooth. Everything was via text messaging and phone calls. Finally I dropped the car following the social distancing procedure. Dan looked into the car and informed me in the afternoon that he could remove one of the broken bolts easily and he didn't need to replace the expensive sensor because it still worked fine. So Dan reduced the labor hours and I was surprised paying 50% less than the estimate I got from the dealer. They were very up fronts about the estimates and you can review each one of them and if the components turn out still good they will remove them from the estimates. I was very happy with the quality works the BimmerGuys did and the way they maintained social distancing for the sake of our well beings and being responsive and up fronts about estimated costs. My car was making a clicking noise underneath the hood whenever I lock/unlock the door. I reached out to Daniel and he asked me to bring the car in for a quick diagnose. These guys really know (and love) bimmers. They are very knowledgeable and nice. They are easy to work with and will find used parts when possible. Anil drives a BMW so that right there is a good sign. He always shows me what he takes out of the car, like the worn down brake disc or the nasty air filter, etc. He is candid about other things that he finds wrong but doesn't try to force you into getting something you don't need. I always feel like I am talking to a friend that genuinely cares. Your BMW is begging you to take it here. Do it. You'll have piece of mind and your wallet will thank you. I decided to take my BMW 535i to The Bimmer Guys to change the engine oil and perform the brake service rather than to the local BMW dealership and it turned out to be a great decision. Daniel responded to my initial text immediately and gave me an accurate quote. So I brought my car in on a Saturday and he proceeded to inspect my car and found a couple other issues which he clearly pointed out to me. He ended up also replacing my radiator (covered by extended warranty) which had a leak and the condenser which was damaged from a previous owner accident (AC has never worked better ). Daniel was very courteous and professional and gave me all the options on what to fix now versus down the road. He even gave me a discount which I really appreciate. **First review!!** GO Yelp Castro Valley! Auto Analysts is a family-run place that you have probably driven by 100 times if you live or work in CV. After my BMW's transmission was choking on me, I drove the extra 4 blocks and had it looked at by these guys. They certainly know what they're doing. They were able to diagnose the problem and offered what seemed to be a solution. I have since brought the car to them one or two other times. Most recently, it was to install rear brake pads and rotors I had ordered online. They got the work done in half a day and were super nice about everything. If you need a ride, they can drop you off or pick you up! They're fair, honest, and reasonably priced. They do a very good job, and they have certainly become my go-to place in the East Bay for my BMW issues. My A/C needs to be recharged sometime in the next few months. Guess who I'm going to? I brought my bmw 535i to Matt and Daniel this morning because my car was making a buzzing sound. Thought it might be cvv valve. They took a look and knew exactly what the cause was and fix the noise in like 2 seconds. Turns out be some type of loose valve tube connector. Matt told me I have a minor oil leak on valve cover but does not need immediate repair. I appreciate their honesty. I will definitely bring my car to them for any repair. read more

Had the pleasure of taking my E92 328i to the guys at The Bimmer Guys shop, and all I can say is the 2 hour round trip we made to their shop was well worth it! We just bought this car with 132k miles on it and needed to get the oil pan gasket replaced since it was leaking very badly. We went ahead and replaced the water pump, thermostat, and engine mounts as preventative maintenance while the subframe was dropped and they didn't overcharge for those extra services like some other shops I've gotten quotes from. They're both very honest guys and are certified to work on just about any BMW so don't hesitate to go here for great service backed by a very fair rate, especially in the Bay Area. They answered all my questions with genuine care and also pointed out a couple of things to look out for on my N52 engine, more specifically the expansion tank since it's the original one and might need replacing soon at this age and mileage. Towed it to another specialist and numerous codes popped up? But these guys said they had no codes? Wow. Totally crazy.
