We called them at 8:45 for delivery and they accepted the order even though they close at 9:30. They were very accommodating on the phone and took the order quickly and efficiently. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple of individual dinners. My husband got a few pieces of fried chicken, my sister got the chicken and ribs dinner plate, her boyfriend got the fish and chips dinner with a side of coleslaw, my mom got jalapeño poppers and wings, and I got the chicken cutlet sandwich with waffle fries. The food came pretty quickly, less than 45 minutes after ordering. It also came piping hot. Everything was crispy, nothing greasy, and fresh. Even the lettuce on the sandwich was nicer than most restaurants we order from. I think the price was also pretty great. My sandwich with a generous portion of waffle fries and cheese sauce came to under $10 which is unheard of these days. I've lived in Massapequa most of my life and have been ordering from Chicken Au Go Go for a long time and I know my next order won't be too long again.

It was juicy, nicely seasoned with that signature peri-peri flavor, and the heat level was perfect for me. Not too spicy and not too mild. The rice and sides that came with it were tasty too. Definitely worth it if you're craving flame-grilled chicken. For some reason, they forgot my daughter's entire kids meal order so we shared my chicken while waiting for it to arrive. After a while, the entire chicken was done but still no kids' meal arrived. I went to the lady in the front and she said it was coming so we waited another 15 minutes and still nothing. I went back up to just ask for a refund but they said it was definitely on its way this time. It finally came but it was definitely a battle to get this thing. the staff was apologetic and eventually got it sorted. That being said, the food was still very good and I would definitely come back. Perhaps takeout would be better next time though.

The chicken tenders were a nice big portion and very fresh. And their fries are insane, some of the best around. This is a small business people should be supporting. The food is good, the people are nice, and everything is clean and fresh. I highly recommend.
