Stopped into Ottos deli when a note on the door caught my eye. I purchased 3 meats a blueberry muffin from the many different kinds to choose from, and a bag of fresh Unique shell pretzels. Place is clean, server friendly. I saw a sign on the inside of the counter ( see pix) noting if one buys a cup at one of two delis the refills are 2.00 dollars.I also saw a few very pretty ornaments as a miniature coffee grinder. I'll be in another time to check out the Otto specials.

Came here as the search said it was a hero shop. It's not. Just a typical deli. Not bad. But, NOT a hero shop. Nice guys working there

This place is 5 star all around. Workers are great. Home fries are the best in town or actually in Nassau county.

This place has truly delicious food. It is an assuming store/storefront where most thing are…read morealready packaged but holy moly did it exceed my already high expectations. A friend recommended it and despite her high praise, even she undersold it. You must get the hummus (I opted for the pine nut) and Turkish eggplant dip (a small container of each will run you $9-10 so it is not cheap but it is worth it). Each dip has the perfect thickness (not to watery or too thick) and was delicious. I heard good things about the bourekas and they had a new brisket boureka out so I bought a pack (10 or so in the package for $22, sold frozen). You heat them in the oven or toaster oven at 350 degrees for 20min. They were absolutely delicious, perfect texture (crunchy outside, soft inside) and the meat inside had so much flavor. For dessert we bought the baklava and pistachio mamoul. Everyone raved about the baklava and I really liked the pistacho mamoul as they were not too sweet (don't let the powdered sugar on the outside fool you). A very kind lady helped me find everything (though if you spend 5min walking around the store which is not that big, you can find everything yourself). Again, everything we bought was absolutely delicious and while it is not inexpensive, you get your money's worth. Absolutely worth checking out, I would be a regular here.

Even if you're not Jewish, most have heard of Tavlin. It was a small Kosher grocery store with…read morecanned goods and homemade salads- and the best Jelly Donuts around Hanukkah. They recently expanded to now serve hot food like shakshuka, falafel, bourekas, schnitzel. It's bright and clean since the renovations. Pricy, but, oh, so yummy. Laura took over and is an absolute doll. Stop in for their biscochos and babka. If you don't know what something is, just ask. She will guide you. Go in and be guided.
