The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. You won't get points for atmosphere as the location is main street central and directly across from an Irish pub that is still serving the same slab of corned beef that they first boiled in 1991. If you're a foodie or even a fraudie, 12 Farms offers infinite pleasures and is richly deserving of a resounding five stars. Speaking of rich bring lots of cash as plastic is not accepted.

The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.

That's probably the only downside. Otherwise, food every time is amazing!. They have a seasonal menu which keeps the options fun. The menu changed after only coming 2 months apart, I was planning on ordering the same dish I had last time but had to switch it up. Wow, the pretzel crusted chicken was so tender and skin was crispy. Vegetables and sauce topped on the chicken was delicious. 10/10 meal. I'm already craving more!! Also their sweet heat calamari with honey, I haven't had any calamari like that before and it was super flavorful and perfect crispiness. Place is right by a lake, though I only went during the winter so we didn't get to personally enjoy the views. The inside of the restaurant though is cozy and good for date night or groups. Looking forward to coming back here!

Oh yeah, the food. What's for sale is a nice cross-section of omelettes, Benedicts and a smattering of sandwiches and steaks that left everyone extremely happy. And if you're a day drinker the bar seemed unusually crowded. Good for them. Five easy stars

The omelette was a bit dry, and it wasn't really my favorite. The sausage was nice and snappy though. One of my friends got the eggs Benedict which she thought was alright. Desserts were shared around the table: carrot cake, cannolis and blueberry pie. The taste was a bit artificial and each dessert was very dry. Despite having a large party, the dessert was not finished. I like how there's plenty of parking in the back. I believe this diner has been open for quite some time. I'm not sure if it's bc when we came here it was a holiday weekend and it was super busy, but everything to me just was a bit subpar.

It's a typical diner with breakfast and brunch items being slightly better than other food options. Today I ordered the turkey burger And I was pleasantly surprised. Payment via credit card card is charged an additional 3.99%, so it's worthwhile to bring cash. There is outdoor seating for the nicer weather days. The owner and service are both friendly and nice.

I was there with two friends, my first time there, and they shared that it is a historic spot, and it sure shows. Nice throwback to an earlier time. I can't recall what breakfast I ordered exactly, but it was pretty good quality, and it was served pretty quickly. Overall, a nice spot that I appreciated and would visit again. Lots of your standard diner options on the menu, and I think it's pretty good for what it is. We were there pretty early, so not a lot of people in there, but plenty of space inside too. It's located in a nice spot in the center of town, and at least at the time there was plenty of street parking. No dedicated parking lot as far as I could tell, but street parking wasn't too hard.

It has a nice, elevated atmosphere, so you should dress semi-formal. Prices are on par with other upscale restaurants. The food has always been excellent and the service as well, most of the time. You absolutely MUST get the Clothesline Bacon as an appetizer. Make sure you slice some pickle with it and squeeze a little lemon juice on top! The manager urged us to try it that way during one of our visits - we never looked back. Rather than eating in the dining area, we chose to sit at the bar for their Foxy Hour (Happy Hour) offerings. There are plenty of tables surrounding the bar as well. We had the Clothesline Bacon, 6 Oysters, Hipster Fries, Spicy Lobster Mac, and we each got the happy hour burger. Everything tasted great, but the hipster fries were a little greasy and lacked the shishito peppers they had last time. We finished off with the Eclair Trio dessert from the Specials Menu. On two separate occasions we were seated at an awkward table in the back of the restaurant, right near the kitchen service area and door to the outside patio. We weren't thrilled to be there, as there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen and through the doors. I think they should just do away with those seats, so everyone can have a relaxing dining experience no matter where they're sat. If you've got a special occasion coming it, Orchard Park is worth checking out!
