Celebrated my brother's birthday today at Sunday Brunch. Large restaurant full with a super menu for all. Jake was our server and excellent. Bunch $25 includes several items, breads, dessert and most of the menu items. On Sunday jazz music but on one side only. Very good service and easily hosts large parties as well as special events. Large parking to accommodate guests. Worth a visit.

Me being a native to this area, it's been a treat to see and experience the growth of this restaurant. Americana had a humble beginning as "just another dinner", but over the years, they've expanded and upgraded. The decor is nice and somewhat upscale. And of course, this place is huge! There's multiple dining areas and a huge covered patio. I've been to Americana more times than I can count and they have always been consistent with their food and service. Fast forward to now and though not needed, the quality and menu has changed to offer a more high-end experience. But the important thing is with all the changes that they've undergone, they've still managed to keep the prices reasonable. Americana is a great restaurant and I look forward to visiting it whenever I visit my hometown.

Friend booked this place for a large birthday brunch. There were around 16 of us total, and they were definitely able to accommodate for every one. I got a forest omelette. The omelette was a bit dry, and it wasn't really my favorite. The sausage was nice and snappy though. One of my friends got the eggs Benedict which she thought was alright. Desserts were shared around the table: carrot cake, cannolis and blueberry pie. The taste was a bit artificial and each dessert was very dry. Despite having a large party, the dessert was not finished. I like how there's plenty of parking in the back. I believe this diner has been open for quite some time. I'm not sure if it's bc when we came here it was a holiday weekend and it was super busy, but everything to me just was a bit subpar.

I've been to Americana more times than I count through its many transitions from full-fledged diner to it's current bistro-restaurant environment. The renovations are beautiful and the outdoor dining deck is nice (despite the fact, you are in a parking lot.) I've been here for breakfast, Sunday brunch, happy hour, and dinner. The service has always been professional and efficient. Good: Overall this is still a breakfast spot for us. The omelettes, eggs Benedict, huevos ranchero, and avocado toast are all great. We've had the Sunday Brunch, which priced at $25 per person, is fairly reasonable for the food they give you. I just wish that coffee or tea was included in that price. Their French Press coffee is good, but strong. The tea is above average with loose leaf tea steeped in individual kettles. Meh: A few or our trips have been for Happy Hour. Their "Happy Hour", honestly, does not have much of a Happy Hour Menu or prices you would associate with Happy Hour. Two apps and two drinks cost a little over $30 - 40. I find the dinner menu priced too high for the location and was underwhelmed with my entree. Overall, Americana offers a great vibe in a nice atmosphere.

I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all were awesome! They also offer live music entertainment sometimes, which I hope to check out. Service was excellent, wines by the bottle are reasonably priced, and food selection is nicely varied. Americana is pretty special in how they can provide great experiences throughout the day and night.

The service and hospitality won me over at this establishment! I would've rated this closer to a 4/4.5 star review, but the food was a little bland and underwhelming. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate people in our party! It's a pretty big establishment with a decent amount of space. It looked like they had a small room to host events. The music does play a little loud. It was difficult to communicate with our party and the server. They had a nice selection of food on their menu. After this experience, we'd still be willing to try this restaurant again after some fine tuning of their seasonings and flavors.

One of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Americana is super modern and has a clean space with super service and delicious food. If you're looking for a nice restaurant to have brunch, lunch, breakfast or dinner, look no further than Americana. A town favorite!

CHICKEN BONE BROTH SOUP with a matzo ball

Was the food bad? No. Was it good? Also, no. I met friends here for dinner. I ordered bone broth with a matzo ball, rigatoni bolognese, and espresso crème brûlée. The broth and matzo ball had no seasoning. I had to heavily salt and pepper my food to make a slight dent. On the other hand, the only seasoning that was used in the bolognese sauce was salt- a lot of it. The pasta was also a little overcooked. The dessert was the best part, though the biscotti served with it had an odd flavor. The way that food is delivered- in a tiered tray (think afternoon tea) by someone who is not your waiter- was different. When we asked for bread, a cold 10-inch hunk of Italian bread was served three dime-sized scoops of butter with copious flakes of sea salt. They seem to be going for atmosphere over food, so if that's your scene, this place may be for you. Personally, I prefer a spot with good food and a less pretentious vibe.

This place has become my go-to spot for dinner -- and for good reason. Whether it's a casual night out or a special occasion, they *always* deliver. Most recently, I came here to celebrate a birthday, and once again, they didn't disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. They truly make you feel like a valued guest, not just another table. The food? Consistently delicious. Every dish comes out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked -- you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. It's one of those rare places where you actually look forward to ordering your "usual," but also feel tempted to try something new every time. It's comforting knowing I can count on this spot to be reliably excellent -- whether I'm grabbing a quick bite or celebrating something special. Already looking forward to my next visit!

There is all your usual stuff that you'd expect to find at any diner. From your sandwiches, omelettes, crepes, typical deserts such as cake and pie, to just about anything else you'd expect to find on a menu for a diner. The service was overall fine but nothing super special but it still is a decent diner to go to for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is better to go around dinner time because then they give you complimentary garlic knots which are delicious. And the televisions they have around the diner are also nice to watch too so you don't feel bored. The only major criticisms I have is that there are times when there are tables that are still very dirty rather its from dirty dishes or too much dust lying around the diner. Another criticism is that the deserts maybe dry from sitting in the fridge too long which is disappointing because they look delicious. The final criticism is that it can be noisy too inside when its always busy. But that is expected as that happens anywhere. In the end, its a solid diner to go to. But it's not the best diner out there as there are plenty other better options for food and to hang out.

The drinks refrigerator can be seen in the back and the entrance to the adjoining store is found on the back by the left wall, with decorations on strings hanging over the entire restaurant. A soccer game was playing while we were there. We ordered the following: Lengua Forrada; Arroz y frijoles- Hubs thought this was ok. We weren't expecting an uncut tongue. Normally, when we order lengua, it's all diced up and put on tortillas. This time, we got a couple of whole tongues. It was a little weird. LOL. The rice and beans were good. Flautas- corn tortillas filled with chicken or steak and fried topped with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and cheese. I chose steak. I actually liked it because the flautas were nice and crispy. Enchiladas Mexicana Bistec; salsa Verde- corn tortillas rolled and stuffed with choice of shredded chicken or steak, topped with either red or green salsa. Daughter chose the steak with green salsa and said that this was pretty good. She thought it was flavorful and meaty and that it hit the spot. Tres leches - I got it to go. I found mold on top of the tres leches. You wouldn't be able to see it if you didn't open the lid because it was underneath their label. I don't know what made me open the lid but I'm glad I did. I returned it to the server and showed it to her but she never removed it from the bill. I didn't say anything about it but counted it as part of the tip. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the mold on the tres leches and the server didn't take it off the bill after I returned it to her. I didn't say anything about it because there was a language barrier and I didn't know how to approach her saying it. While service was quick and friendly, I won't be returning here because of the mold and we got billed for it, anyway.

I would consider coming again, but with so many other restaurants in the area I'd probably try something else first.

We succeeded in both respects, saving over $20 a week in Java fees and thoroughly enjoying our handiwork as we controlled our filtered water and fresh ingredients throughout the process. But, yesterday I found myself out and about - out of coffee and about to take drastic action to remedy this problem. I looked up as I drove through Cranbury, NJ, and saw a sign for Lyberry Cafe in a newish commercial strip on the south side of town. The Universe provides. I pulled in, parked and walked in to a chill large warehouse-looking space with painted library walls on one end with comfy leatheresque easy chairs and small tables for privacy, and a long row of tables/wooden benches/chairs along running the length of the deep room and partially across from the service area. I had to acknowledge feeling passing strange being in a cafe for the first time in a long while, but I managed to check their menu and order a small Americano to go before taking a seat at the end table closest to the door. Why not sit and relax for a few before returning to my wheels? It wasn't crowded around noon, and the folks seemed like they were settled in for a while. Some working; most chatting. I sipped the strong steaming hot joe. Yep! Definitely strong enough to remove the wearies and retune me up for my afternoon agenda. Still, couldn't help feeling a little out of place. Just spending money for commercial coffee, once so commonplace; but now so strangely wasteful put me in touch with how transitory some habits are. Three average caffeinated stars for the ho-hum of this or any such consumption outpost. I think I have lost my Lyberry card.
