I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all were awesome! They also offer live music entertainment sometimes, which I hope to check out. Service was excellent, wines by the bottle are reasonably priced, and food selection is nicely varied. Americana is pretty special in how they can provide great experiences throughout the day and night.

I've been to Americana more times than I count through its many transitions from full-fledged diner to it's current bistro-restaurant environment. The renovations are beautiful and the outdoor dining deck is nice (despite the fact, you are in a parking lot.) I've been here for breakfast, Sunday brunch, happy hour, and dinner. The service has always been professional and efficient. Good: Overall this is still a breakfast spot for us. The omelettes, eggs Benedict, huevos ranchero, and avocado toast are all great. We've had the Sunday Brunch, which priced at $25 per person, is fairly reasonable for the food they give you. I just wish that coffee or tea was included in that price. Their French Press coffee is good, but strong. The tea is above average with loose leaf tea steeped in individual kettles. Meh: A few or our trips have been for Happy Hour. Their "Happy Hour", honestly, does not have much of a Happy Hour Menu or prices you would associate with Happy Hour. Two apps and two drinks cost a little over $30 - 40. I find the dinner menu priced too high for the location and was underwhelmed with my entree. Overall, Americana offers a great vibe in a nice atmosphere.

The service and hospitality won me over at this establishment! I would've rated this closer to a 4/4.5 star review, but the food was a little bland and underwhelming. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate people in our party! It's a pretty big establishment with a decent amount of space. It looked like they had a small room to host events. The music does play a little loud. It was difficult to communicate with our party and the server. They had a nice selection of food on their menu. After this experience, we'd still be willing to try this restaurant again after some fine tuning of their seasonings and flavors.

One of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Americana is super modern and has a clean space with super service and delicious food. If you're looking for a nice restaurant to have brunch, lunch, breakfast or dinner, look no further than Americana. A town favorite!

a bar and grill that hits all the marks. good options ranging from flatbreads, pasta, and steaks. we both got a steak - fillet mignon & NY strip steak. they had a good chat and perfectly cooked. their peppercorn sauce was so flavorful! the dessert was so memorable, you have to try their espresso crème brûlée. the service was wonderful. they also have a patio for remember months. a nice interior ambiance as well. good spot for a date night

CHICKEN BONE BROTH SOUP with a matzo ball
    Sarah T.

Was the food bad? No. Was it good? Also, no. I met friends here for dinner. I ordered bone broth with a matzo ball, rigatoni bolognese, and espresso crème brûlée. The broth and matzo ball had no seasoning. I had to heavily salt and pepper my food to make a slight dent. On the other hand, the only seasoning that was used in the bolognese sauce was salt- a lot of it. The pasta was also a little overcooked. The dessert was the best part, though the biscotti served with it had an odd flavor. The way that food is delivered- in a tiered tray (think afternoon tea) by someone who is not your waiter- was different. When we asked for bread, a cold 10-inch hunk of Italian bread was served three dime-sized scoops of butter with copious flakes of sea salt. They seem to be going for atmosphere over food, so if that's your scene, this place may be for you. Personally, I prefer a spot with good food and a less pretentious vibe.

This place has become my go-to spot for dinner -- and for good reason. Whether it's a casual night out or a special occasion, they *always* deliver. Most recently, I came here to celebrate a birthday, and once again, they didn't disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. They truly make you feel like a valued guest, not just another table. The food? Consistently delicious. Every dish comes out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked -- you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. It's one of those rare places where you actually look forward to ordering your "usual," but also feel tempted to try something new every time. It's comforting knowing I can count on this spot to be reliably excellent -- whether I'm grabbing a quick bite or celebrating something special. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Solid spot with great service. 30 day dry aged ribeye is flavorful and the standout on the menu.

    Reuben sandwich

My review only speaks on the food. The staff were lovely and the decor, while a bit bland, have no effect on my review. I tried the guacamole entree, the Reuben sandwich, and the seared tuna. The menu itself, is best described as "beige" - inoffensive yet uninterewting. The guacamole was very bland. They included a tiny, tiny lime wedge and a fraction of a spoonful of salt. It needed both to have a semblance of flavor, so I think they knew that. 2/10. The Reuben filling was tasty. For some reason they gave me 8 fries assembled like Lincoln logs so I wouldn't tell they only gave me 8, soggy, limp, unflavored, and oil soaked poor examples of fries. Arguably some of the worst fries I've ever eaten, and it looks like they were seasoned from across the room. It was either a ton in one section of a single fry, or nothing. The Reuben itself - an oily mess to the point it was ruined. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it felt more deep fried than it was toasted. The bread was oil soaked, the sauerkraut felt canned, the meat was good, but it felt like I could wring it out with how much oil was in it. I needed extra napkins to deal with it. 2/10. The tuna - tiny portion, dry (clearly frozen), underseasoned, and just genuinely bad. 0/10. I remember when this was a diner. It should've stayed a diner because this is pizazz sold at exorbitant prices but basically serving garbage. The staff are lovely and whoever owns this, and cooks here, should be utterly ashamed.

The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. You won't get points for atmosphere as the location is main street central and directly across from an Irish pub that is still serving the same slab of corned beef that they first boiled in 1991. If you're a foodie or even a fraudie, 12 Farms offers infinite pleasures and is richly deserving of a resounding five stars. Speaking of rich bring lots of cash as plastic is not accepted.

The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.

There is all your usual stuff that you'd expect to find at any diner. From your sandwiches, omelettes, crepes, typical deserts such as cake and pie, to just about anything else you'd expect to find on a menu for a diner. The service was overall fine but nothing super special but it still is a decent diner to go to for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is better to go around dinner time because then they give you complimentary garlic knots which are delicious. And the televisions they have around the diner are also nice to watch too so you don't feel bored. The only major criticisms I have is that there are times when there are tables that are still very dirty rather its from dirty dishes or too much dust lying around the diner. Another criticism is that the deserts maybe dry from sitting in the fridge too long which is disappointing because they look delicious. The final criticism is that it can be noisy too inside when its always busy. But that is expected as that happens anywhere. In the end, its a solid diner to go to. But it's not the best diner out there as there are plenty other better options for food and to hang out.

We succeeded in both respects, saving over $20 a week in Java fees and thoroughly enjoying our handiwork as we controlled our filtered water and fresh ingredients throughout the process. But, yesterday I found myself out and about - out of coffee and about to take drastic action to remedy this problem. I looked up as I drove through Cranbury, NJ, and saw a sign for Lyberry Cafe in a newish commercial strip on the south side of town. The Universe provides. I pulled in, parked and walked in to a chill large warehouse-looking space with painted library walls on one end with comfy leatheresque easy chairs and small tables for privacy, and a long row of tables/wooden benches/chairs along running the length of the deep room and partially across from the service area. I had to acknowledge feeling passing strange being in a cafe for the first time in a long while, but I managed to check their menu and order a small Americano to go before taking a seat at the end table closest to the door. Why not sit and relax for a few before returning to my wheels? It wasn't crowded around noon, and the folks seemed like they were settled in for a while. Some working; most chatting. I sipped the strong steaming hot joe. Yep! Definitely strong enough to remove the wearies and retune me up for my afternoon agenda. Still, couldn't help feeling a little out of place. Just spending money for commercial coffee, once so commonplace; but now so strangely wasteful put me in touch with how transitory some habits are. Three average caffeinated stars for the ho-hum of this or any such consumption outpost. I think I have lost my Lyberry card.
