Im giving it 3 stars purely due to service. Our waitress took our drink order. One person was still deciding. She brought our drinks, she took our appetizer order and the one additional drink. After 10 minutes my husband went to the bartender, waitress never put the drink in. Bartender was super apologetic and delivered the drink himself. She finally showed and took our dinner order. I will say I was impressed the food all came out at the same time and it was right. No issues or complaints on the food. The portions are huge and always very tasty. The fruit in the sangria was cut so small it continued to get stuck in the straw. I ended up scooping it out. The waitress never came back. The place is losing out, we could've used a second drink but by the time she showed up we asked for to go containers and the check. Place was nicely decorated for the 4th of July and they had a singer singing good ol American tunes. They would be a lot busier if they can get better service.

This place is so cute! The people are so friendly and the place while small still has about 20 tables and a full bar area. The food was good and the menu has so many options. I ordered the skirt steak with the fried egg, rice and fries. I also tried the stuffed avocado for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more items.

Don Pepe is truly a delicious and amazing Peruvian restaurant right in Central Jersey with wonderful service and even better food! I ordered the whole chicken with rice and beans and papa rellena and it was delicious! I was recommended this restaurant by my student and she told me I needed to try Peruvian food ASAP, and I'm so glad she recommended this spot to me. Though I didn't dine in, I went in to pick up the food and it's a cute, clean restaurant and also has a nice outdoor seating/ patio area too! I can't wait to come back soon!

I would really give it a 3.5 for today's experience . The food 1/2 chicken and rice came out freezing . I asked them to warm it up and they did but had to wait another 15 min and didn't say sorry , no discount, nothing. After that they didn't clean up the plates or anything. They charged us for the freezing huancaina sauce $7 and when i asked them to warm it up they said they couldn't . The place is pretty and pisco punch was good. The music also was really good for those who like Latin music. Waitress didn't have an attitude but customer service was below average after the cold rice and chicken incident. Also no bus boy/person. The thing with Spanish restaurants and some restaurants that they treat the non-Latin customers better than their own. When are trying to do is support. Also when there's a big table they then forget about the small tables. Other than that the vibe music and drink was good. Food was very good too, just was cold like had been sitting ac for a long time. No wonder food took a while to come out

Any way I had an escargot appetizer. I love snails. I wish they had frogs legs! I had the lamb shank for the main course. You can sit at tables or the large bar, we chose the former. The service was very good, accommodating and friendly. The food was nicely executed. My lamb shank was tender and tasty. I sampled the steak and thought it was nicely cooked, loaded with flavor and also very tender. The brie was tasty, and didn't seem to heavy, which was surprising as it was deep fried. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular here.

I literally said to myself as I drove around Somerville that I wish there was a wine or cocktail bar for...mature people like myself to chill at. So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. Came with my wife and son and sat 3 across right at the bar. Our friendly bartender/server, Priya promptly took our drink order and we decided to start off with a pitcher of Sangria and some Oyster Shooters, that came with vodka, fresh Canadian oysters, lemon and hot sauce, everything tasted amazing. We then proceeded to order some apps, a dozen more of the Canadian oysters as well as a Shrimp Cocktail. The oysters were so fresh and delicious and the shrimps were big and tasty. For our main courses, my wife ordered a Fried Combo platter of Cod and Scallops, mu son ordered the Fried Cod Sandwich and I ordered a Fried Combo platter with Fried Clams and Fried Flounder. Everything was so delicious, all the fish was fried perfectly and so tender and flaky, the scallops, not only were they fried perfectly and delicious, they were plentiful, at least 10 of them in my wife's platter and the fried clams were so good, so tender, I loved them. While we were eating I noticed our bartender had a tee shirt that said Keyport Fishery on the back, so I asked if they owned this spot as well, she said yes. Well that explained why everything was just so good, in fact I might have enjoyed the fish here even more. What a great spot this is, even the prices are reasonable. We will be coming here a lot, if I lived closer I'd come every day, LOL.
