chicken caesar wrap and onion rings

Went to the bite yesterday, and have always loved their food. however, yesterday I ordered a chicken caesar wrap (which i used to love) with onion rings, and it was actually the worst meal i have ever had. The wrap was absolutely disgusting. It looked and tasted like dog food and the lettuce wash mush. The chicken in it was also mush. The onion rings looked like they would be delicious, but the onion in every single onion ring was shriveled up and dry to the point you can barely chew it. I had to throw it away it literally wasn't edible. I don't know if staffing or ownership change happened, but that was the biggest waste of $20 i have ever spent in my life.

Great breakfast spot. Small menu which I think is great so they can focus on doing things well. Counter service so be prepared for that. I recommend the breakfast bowl and do get a side of grits. You will not be disappointed! Place was clean and friendly!

The best biscuit I've had in a very, very long time! We had breakfast here twice during our 4 day trip to Atlantic Beach. Both times I order the hoop biscuit with sausage. The biscuit is huge (it looks like a muffin) but very soft and very flavorful. I am a big fan of overly cheesy things so this was perfect for me. The staff was always super helpful and the rooftop looks like a great place to have some drinks and appetizers on a nice day.

We were looking for a last minute place to have dinner after coming out from Raleigh for a family vacation -- this place was open and looked like a fast and easy dine in! The first and second floor views were both gorgeous as it's a small seafront fast casual diner; there was even a cute little bar on the second floor. The tater tots were crispy and tasted great! My bacon chicken ranch wrap was also very good (boyfriend approved). The shrimp wrap was also great -- shrimps were big and not breaded too much. The burgers were good but we're just your typical burger, nothing crazy. One of our orders was wrong -- chips came out with a burger instead of tater tots, but staff was especially kind enough to give us tater tots for free plus some ranch cups when asked. My only qualm about the place was that you have to pay almost $2 for a side of either fries, tots, or one other option instead of just a small bag of chips with your entree. Granted, the prices weren't bad for the seafood, especially by the seafront. Overall, this place was really nice to spend time with family, enjoy the sea breeze, and have a yummy bite on the go!

I had hoped that the flounder sandwich would have been made with local fish, but unfortunately it wasn't. Instead it came out of a bag, loaded with other identical fish pieces. The generic white bread hamburger bun was dressed with a tablespoon of tartar sauce, and a couple of pieces of iceberg lettuce. The service was good.

It's a nice breakfast spot. I would return. They have specials and short menu that makes choosing easy. The lady taking our order was kind and very honest. I appreciated her honesty, and it helped me make my choice, which was the bowl. It could have fed three people!

Perfectly fried treats, from the onion rings to the shoestring french fries. Loved the Reuben and my "bright red" North Carolina hotdog!

Simply awesome food with a killer view from the rooftop bar. Hat tip to the fry cook who knows how to expertly fry everything from the onion rings to the Honey Shrimp - there's nothing more disappointing than over-fried food and this place has their team dialed in! The Reuben on the daily special was not to be missed and I really enjoyed my classic North Carolina "bright red" hot dog!

I cannot say enough good things about the service and the food!!! Just simply amazing!!! 10 out of 10, and let me not forget to mention the amazing view

    A burnt chicken tender.

Food was mediocre-nothing was seasoned. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. Coffee was constantly empty. Out of some items-frustrating as their menu is already small. Chicken tenders were burnt. The space is very small which makes it loud and crowded. Would not come back.

I ordered ahead. It was done by the time I got there.. it took me maybe 12 minutes to get there. I ordered a cheese biscuit and added a sausage patty. It was absolutely delicious. My French toast was pretty good. The staff was friendly and I got a view of the ocean. What more could you ask for?

    Reuben with onion rings

Service was excellent- My Reuben was delicious! My husbands Crabcake sandwich was also spot on! Onion rings were fresh out of the fryer perfectly done. Fries were batter coated and perfect. Highly recommend.

Great location, right in the heart of Atlantic Beach. To order, there's a walk up counter and the staff were very warm and friendly. The service was very fast and the food was delicious. The inside seating area is small but there's also a larger outdoor area upstairs. If you get there before 9, or park alongside the sidewalk, you won't have to pay for parking otherwise you will because it's literally steps from the beach so beach parking rates apply. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area. We will definitely be back!

A handful of tables and bar seating if you want to dine in.

Burgers, fries, tots, shrimp wrap, and onion rings were all the things we ordered. Everything was pretty good! We appreciated the warm welcome when we came in. The cashier was cheerful and friendly. With one other employee working the grill, we patiently waited about 10-15 minutes for our food to be cooked fresh. The restaurant was clean and bright. They have one high chair in the place, but for the size of the restaurant that wasn't surprising. We have no complaints and would go back.

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR OIL I could taste what you cooked 10 years ago. Idk if your supposed to use the same grease for seafood AND fried chicken, but, apparently, that's what's happening. I would suggest one dedicated fryer for seafood. You may be able to get by with frying the hushpuppies in the seafood fryer, and use a dedicated fryer for chicken and fries and onion rings. I'm not that hard to please, but, the first thing I bit into buy lbit into was a hushpuppy that tasted weird, then I decided it test like fries chicken. So did the oysters andcthe shrimp. I couldn't even eat the onion rings, the taste was too awful. I'm SORRY to write this. I hate that I had to. I drove from almost Greenville NC, and was salivating all the way. I wanted it to be good so badly. I wasn't even upset about the $50 I wasted on it. Just PLEASE, try the frying deal. Let us know on Facebook when you do, and I'll come back. Thanks. We ordered a shrimp burger and a super hamburger(special toppings) with an order of fries and one of the hush puppies. Order was quick and the food was hot and delicious! The hush puppies were not like others you normally get - they were long and plump! Almost like rolled tubes! They were delicious. Both sandwiches were very good and cooked just right. My burger came with slaw but it was not like any slaw I've had. Somewhat sweet but no mayonnaise! I'll be looking online for this recipe. Overall great drive in food at a good price. We will be back again this week!

It came highly suggested by the host of the beach house, as well as all the great reviews we saw online. This not a quick sit, eat, and be on your way type of restaurant, it's a long standing, very popular spot, and even getting their early, we still had a about a 45 minute wait. But we were able to get drinks, and take them out to enjoy by the water while we waited for our table. Because of the heat, they even had a cooler by the front door with free bottled water for guests to enjoy while waiting. Once seated, the waitress was very attentive, checking on us regularly, keeping the drinks coming and getting out order entered, and out to us pretty quickly. Not being a big seafood eater, I decided to give their meatloaf a try. It was fantastic, as were the mash potatoes and green beans it was served with. For desert, we got smores, which they brought out a flames, along with graham crackers, Hershey bars, and marshmallows to make them at your table. Overall, a fun experience, tasty food, and great atmosphere. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I'd say that's expected for a quality restaurant in a beach town. It's not tourist trap pricey, but you get what you pay for, which in this case is good quality food, decent portions! I'd go back on another visit, and would recommend to others.

The outdoor waiting area was nice with a little dock in the water, covered/shaded seating, rocking chairs and even a bag set. Food was mostly on point too! Fried green maters could have been cooked a little longer (still a bit crunchy for my liking), breading on the pork chops didn't stick as well to the meat as it could, mashed potato's were FIRE, and the seafood trio with rice and beans was nice. Beer was super cold, staff were nice, and bathrooms were clean. If I were in the area again I would go again.
