chicken caesar wrap and onion rings

Went to the bite yesterday, and have always loved their food. however, yesterday I ordered a chicken caesar wrap (which i used to love) with onion rings, and it was actually the worst meal i have ever had. The wrap was absolutely disgusting. It looked and tasted like dog food and the lettuce wash mush. The chicken in it was also mush. The onion rings looked like they would be delicious, but the onion in every single onion ring was shriveled up and dry to the point you can barely chew it. I had to throw it away it literally wasn't edible. I don't know if staffing or ownership change happened, but that was the biggest waste of $20 i have ever spent in my life.

Great breakfast spot. Small menu which I think is great so they can focus on doing things well. Counter service so be prepared for that. I recommend the breakfast bowl and do get a side of grits. You will not be disappointed! Place was clean and friendly!

The best biscuit I've had in a very, very long time! We had breakfast here twice during our 4 day trip to Atlantic Beach. Both times I order the hoop biscuit with sausage. The biscuit is huge (it looks like a muffin) but very soft and very flavorful. I am a big fan of overly cheesy things so this was perfect for me. The staff was always super helpful and the rooftop looks like a great place to have some drinks and appetizers on a nice day.

We were looking for a last minute place to have dinner after coming out from Raleigh for a family vacation -- this place was open and looked like a fast and easy dine in! The first and second floor views were both gorgeous as it's a small seafront fast casual diner; there was even a cute little bar on the second floor. The tater tots were crispy and tasted great! My bacon chicken ranch wrap was also very good (boyfriend approved). The shrimp wrap was also great -- shrimps were big and not breaded too much. The burgers were good but we're just your typical burger, nothing crazy. One of our orders was wrong -- chips came out with a burger instead of tater tots, but staff was especially kind enough to give us tater tots for free plus some ranch cups when asked. My only qualm about the place was that you have to pay almost $2 for a side of either fries, tots, or one other option instead of just a small bag of chips with your entree. Granted, the prices weren't bad for the seafood, especially by the seafront. Overall, this place was really nice to spend time with family, enjoy the sea breeze, and have a yummy bite on the go!

I had hoped that the flounder sandwich would have been made with local fish, but unfortunately it wasn't. Instead it came out of a bag, loaded with other identical fish pieces. The generic white bread hamburger bun was dressed with a tablespoon of tartar sauce, and a couple of pieces of iceberg lettuce. The service was good.

It's a nice breakfast spot. I would return. They have specials and short menu that makes choosing easy. The lady taking our order was kind and very honest. I appreciated her honesty, and it helped me make my choice, which was the bowl. It could have fed three people!

Perfectly fried treats, from the onion rings to the shoestring french fries. Loved the Reuben and my "bright red" North Carolina hotdog!

Simply awesome food with a killer view from the rooftop bar. Hat tip to the fry cook who knows how to expertly fry everything from the onion rings to the Honey Shrimp - there's nothing more disappointing than over-fried food and this place has their team dialed in! The Reuben on the daily special was not to be missed and I really enjoyed my classic North Carolina "bright red" hot dog!

I cannot say enough good things about the service and the food!!! Just simply amazing!!! 10 out of 10, and let me not forget to mention the amazing view

    A burnt chicken tender.

Food was mediocre-nothing was seasoned. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. Coffee was constantly empty. Out of some items-frustrating as their menu is already small. Chicken tenders were burnt. The space is very small which makes it loud and crowded. Would not come back.

I ordered ahead. It was done by the time I got there.. it took me maybe 12 minutes to get there. I ordered a cheese biscuit and added a sausage patty. It was absolutely delicious. My French toast was pretty good. The staff was friendly and I got a view of the ocean. What more could you ask for?

    Reuben with onion rings

Service was excellent- My Reuben was delicious! My husbands Crabcake sandwich was also spot on! Onion rings were fresh out of the fryer perfectly done. Fries were batter coated and perfect. Highly recommend.

Great location, right in the heart of Atlantic Beach. To order, there's a walk up counter and the staff were very warm and friendly. The service was very fast and the food was delicious. The inside seating area is small but there's also a larger outdoor area upstairs. If you get there before 9, or park alongside the sidewalk, you won't have to pay for parking otherwise you will because it's literally steps from the beach so beach parking rates apply. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area. We will definitely be back!

A handful of tables and bar seating if you want to dine in.

Burgers, fries, tots, shrimp wrap, and onion rings were all the things we ordered. Everything was pretty good! We appreciated the warm welcome when we came in. The cashier was cheerful and friendly. With one other employee working the grill, we patiently waited about 10-15 minutes for our food to be cooked fresh. The restaurant was clean and bright. They have one high chair in the place, but for the size of the restaurant that wasn't surprising. We have no complaints and would go back.

The bartender was busy working and singing in between taking orders as she prepared drinks for customers. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and offered the specials before we placed our order. We love to sample the menu when we travel and the vast menu of tapas gave us the perfect opportunity to try just about everything. They had a smaller wine selection, but there was something for just about everyone. Our waiter was very attentive and offered suggestions on what to try if we were torn between several menu options. The Spanish lamb meatballs, truffle honey pork belly and rosemary beef were the tapas that stood out as the most flavorful and making us each want just one more bite. The Spanish meatballs were glazed with sriracha which caused me to pause before ordering. However, I'm so happy that we gave them a try. They had a bold flavor, but the whipped feta and cilantro were enough to balance the heat. The truffle honey pork belly was sliced differently. We have only had this cut into cubes at other restaurants in the past. The way that they slice the pork belly is so much better. The pork belly was served with cheese grits. We don't even like cheese grits, but could not get enough of these smoked Gouda grits. The rosemary beef with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect. The beef was tender, the asparagus cooked to perfection and who doesn't love mashed potatoes. We visit the crystal coast about twice a year and always try a couple of new places. We look forward to coming back to Circa 81 each time that we visit!

Diversified and well presented. - Crabe cake: pretty good but missing citrus coleslaw so a 7/10 - Brie with pepper jolly: probably the one we appreciate the most of the 3. Could have more toast though. - sesame seed seared tuna : good, 8/10 Overall the idea of trying many dishes is probably the most valuable option here. A little remark about our waiter is that we were not cared for but we were at the bar so that might be the reason.
