Fast forward to a couple days prior to the move, I texted and no response. Texted again the next day to try to get confirmation they were going to show up and again no response. Texted from a different phone number pretending to get a quote and what do you know, he texts back. Thank god they actually showed up, albeit 15 minutes late. I will say they were polite and put our stuff where we told them. However, they damaged TWO of our dressers (took an entire corner off both) and didn't reimburse for either of them. Didn't give a discount, just apologized and charged the full price. Each one of the dressers cost $300.

There were two pieces which needed disassembly to get down the stairs. It wasn't bad enough that the stairs were narrow and had a low ceiling but also the landlord thought it was wise to paint the stairwell the day before. Moving can be a time fraught with anxieties about the place and furniture you've come to rely on and care for. Their calm diligence was reassuring from the start. At the house there were many additional boxes that had to go to the second floor and they adapted without pause. Their truck was pristine with everything loaded orderly in it's place so as not to be damaged. You knew that someone who cared that much for the tools of their trade would care for yours as well. Lamana's knows what they are doing. We packed our personal items, so the crew only had to move the furniture & boxes. They just needed us to direct them as to placement in our new house. In all, the entire process took about 5 hours. We should note my husband is immune compromised and all staff took precautions when it came to pandemic precautions. I had to call back because the new quote hadn't been sent to my email. Called and confirmed with Tony again and had the quote sent to my email and I signed it. No phone calls to confirm. Movers didn't show up the day of the move after getting the permits for no parking, arranging time off of work and family members to help. Don't waste your time on this company, you'll be running around doing it all on your own anyway.
