I have a stroller and I have to walk in the street to get through. They have no consideration for the residence and children. On Thursday, April 4, 2019 I got a call and a voicemail from Suzanne the Asst. Manager while at work stating my check bounced. I immediately called WF they stated there's no record of them processing my check & nothing pending. I immediately called Suzanne back. She states she received an email stating NSF that means your check has bounced. I explained to her I have sufficient amount of funds in my account there should be no issue. She insisted stating I get in contact with "pay leife" I believe that's the company they currently deal with and scan residence checks to. Stating they're the ones who just sent them an email stating it my check bounced. I call them immediately they stated they never sent an email it's actually their upper management. read more

I would NEVER recommend Sierra Height to my worst enemy. Terrible and disgusting customer services. NICOLE happens to be the worst of them all. I called the office because I had an issue with a bill I already paid OFF and she stated she had more important things to do and wasn't going to argue with me. she had reports to do and advised me to call me back the following day. Who does/says that? I had issues with my a/c for almost a month while it was 100 degrees outside. My apartment felt like a sauna. I was given a portable a/c unit. The air pressure didn't go past the living room. We all had to sleep in the living room. Just terrible service all the way around. PLEASE RENT ELSEWHERE! Lived here for a year. Overall it was a quiet place with nice residences. Maintenance was great as well with their response time. The staff that was working when we signed our lease in December 2019 was horrible. The manager was lazy and wouldn't acknowledge you when you walked in. Katy (no longer working there) was our leasing agent when we signed. We specifically asked what utilities we needed to pay for. She stated we only needed to pay for gas, electric and internet. Not true, you have to pay for all of your utilities. Trash alone is $53 a month. All utilities come as additional fees when you pay your rent. We were also told that it was a one time $10 fee to pay our rent online. Not true. We were charged multiple fees throughout the year. Everything inside our unit was very cheap. Our cupboard doors constantly fell off because the wood they kept screwing into was on its last limb. Our sliding screen door was always having issues. We weren't able to use any of the amenities due to Covid. They also took 95% of our deposit. They charged us for new paint, carpet cleaning, overall cleaning fee, 2 different final utility bills, some holes in the wall that were from mounting our TV, which we asked Katy multiple times if it was okay to do and for removal of some child safety locks that were on the loose cabinet doors. Parking is a nightmare. We used our garage and found it nearly impossible to find parking for our other vehicle. The staff takes up parking during the day which is very inconvenient because then you have to park out on Lemon Ave. They did hire some new staff during our time living there and they seem to be much better. read more

There's NO parking here for the people that PAY to live here. I parked in front of MY OWN GARAGE (my mom parks inside and there's SUPPOSED to be parking for inside for tenants but there was NOTHING) to run a few heavy items inside, use the bathroom, and help my mom with my sister. I come out to move my car (outside the apt complex, because they have nowhere for people who live here to park), and it's gone. Come to find out, they had my car towed and had to pay $390 to get it out. They are aware they have NO parking for tenants, yet they set up a towing service to automatically tow any car they see outside of their OWN garage. My resident sticker was also displayed very prominently, so they're aware they I pay rent here. Disgusting management! Save yourself and DO NOT get stuck in this hell hole. read more

I can not wait to move out. There is always people in the parking lot on the side of haven hanging out and really loud and obnoxious! I do not understand why they allow it. My son is afraid to leave the apartment. it is one thing to live here because it is low income out of need but I just can not afford the stress. I am hoping to find another apartment soon. I needed a place to live in 3 days and I went into the office for a tour with Darlene. She was amazing! So professional, sweet and empathetic to my needs. I told her my price range and she was able to get me into an one bedroom apartment within 3 days timeframe and rush the entire process for me. They were even having a raffle and I won an instapot! The apartment complex is very quiet and family friendly. The icecream truck even comes by daily to sell us icecream. So grateful for Darlene and the amazing Management team who helped me. read more

My girlfriend and I are new to the Inland Empire. During our apartment search with my girlfriend, Sierra Heights stood out because of Kaytee's professional and friendly demeanor. She was flexible with our schedule and was willing to show us multiple units. Whenever there is an issue with our apartment, Kaytee always greets us with a smile and does her best to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. The only reason why this is not a five star review was due the fact that there was some type of miscommunication with management in regards to our original move in date. It got pushed back by almost a full week which disrupted the planned time off we scheduled to move in our apartment. Overall, we have had a positive experience because of Kaytee. I have had the pleasure of being a resident of Sierra Heights for a little over two years now and I couldn't be prouder to call this my home. Since the new management came in December of last year I've seen multiple community wide improvements as well as individual upgrades, from the paint, to the upgraded pool area and furniture, the most recent project being the parking/street resealing, it just keeps getting better! All the projects seem to run so smoothly thanks to the amazing ladies in the office and the super helpful maintenance team always communicating well in advance the plans and any information helpful to all residents. My personal experience with Susan, Kayla, and Katie in the office has been Phenomenal! I can't say enough about how grateful I am to be able to reach out to any of one of them and know that they will always do their best to accommodate and handle my issue with care, compassion, consideration and their continued good hearted nature. I lived here prior to new management taking over and they have done nothing but try to make this place better than the previous management they had a huge mess to clean up walking into this place. My work orders are actually getting done the new maintenance staff is great and knowledgeable and the property is making huge progress... they started to do resident events they had one for mother's day which my kids loved... these girls in the office are always helpful and kind and also my kids love them. Over crowded parking which most of the spots are narrow, resulting in various dings on your car from tenants opening their doors trying to squeeze into their car. They rarely answer their phone and do not have a voicemail. Dog poop is not being picked up enough by tenants. This makes one feel uneasy in walking in on the grass. The property staff lock up the facilities hours earlier than they are supposed to. When construction is being done the workers are constantly working earlier than the city ordinance and the property manager does not resolve this issue. Just some helpful thoughts if anyone was wanting an inside perspective from a current tenant that I'm sure they won't share with you. read more

It's a cool place to live, I've been here 5 years. I love the location. Being surrounded by all the trees and vegetation makes it very peaceful and serene for me. And the fact so many different kinds of shops and businesses are in walking distance is pretty nice. I don't really have to drive anywhere unless I need to buy a lot of stuff or make a Target run. And the maintenance guys always do a really good job and are very personable. Also I really appreciate the upgrade they did to the gate access. read more

This is one of the worst apartments in Rancho Cucamonga, the property is old and everything is falling apart. The residents with dogs do not clean up behind their animals, there is no parking and the management is rude, and do not have any customer service or people skills for that matter. The website makes the property look nice and accommodating. This is false and misleading the grounds are not managed and the management team appears to not mind or care about an unclean environment . Also they do not have the amenities stated on their website. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Low level management yet they want high rent. read more

A great & safe area in north Rancho Cucamonga with plenty of shopping nearby, close access to the 210, nice office staff, and quick maintenance responses. Limited parking (although you can easily park on Lemon Ave and walk in), and only one recycling collection bin. Pros: A new management company took over in early 2019 and have been steadily making improvements throughout the complex. It has been difficult dealing with the improvements, and it's definitely worth it to know that the maintenance is being kept up to date. You can walk to Vons & Trader Joe's on Haven, or it's just a short drive. Suzanne, Kayla, & Kaytee are all nice and helpful whenever anything happened. During the asphalt resurfacing, they kept me updated on timing so I was able to plan around it. The maintenance staff is quick at responding and are insistent about whether or not they have permission to enter (sometimes I have to reiterate multiple times that they have permission to enter). I submitted maintenance tickets for a broken heater and maintenance loaned us a heater within a couple hours of determining they had to call someone out to fix it. I also received quick responses to other items like a broken water heater (which was fixed the same day by 8pm). Cons:The parking is limited across the complex. If you don't find a spot by 6pm, it's unlikely you will find one inside the complex. I regularly park on Lemon Ave and walk to my apartment, without any issues. The only recycling bin available is at the front of the complex, so it can be a far walk from the south of the complex. Overall I would recommend this apartment to any of my family or friends. read more

I live here with my family and use to really like it until the new management arrived. They are rude and give my parents a hard time whenever they try to talk with them. I am a high school student and love my school so I feel bad because I know the only reason we stay here, and my parents put up with them is so I can stay at the school I love. I wish the company would do something about their employees already instead of letting them just walk all over everyone anytime they feel like it. They are intrusive, they are always scheduling to come into your place and basically legit do nothing but be in the way for five minutes and leave. I really hate it here. And I can't stand the women in the office, they look at you strange and the maintenance people think they themselves are the management. I give this place no stars and can't wait to move. read more

BEWARE!!!! The New Management . lived at this complex for going on two years . When we first moved in. Their were a lot of repairs that needed to be address . Water dripping from the window seal. The cabinets always coming unhinge. Oh not to mention the sinks are always plugged. At this point we stop trying to get them fixed being in a week it's plugged again . The difference is the old management weren't rude and condescending to there tenants they actually cared.. Oh and we have holes in our ceiling. Being that was not how we agreed to rent this unit . Took about 6months for them to cover it up which is a poor job by the new management and the garage still has the hole. They had to cut holes in the ceiling to get to the washer and dryer that wasn't working . They had to get to the air vents and hoses that had been taped up. This place was great then just went to hell!!! Being that my front door doesn't close properly and every old ass blind that is on the sliding door has fell off . Oh there is more bs . My car got Broken in twice . Rancho Cucamonga is supposed to be a great safe place to live for me and my children . The neighbor above us got his apartment broken in . Oh and the neighbor I met at the pool said she was in the shower in her place got broken into . They both were on the third floor . Also this place told me that they sent me an email and posted a paper on my door that there painting the lot . I didn't receive it in person or in my email or mailbox ... section they are painting . Parking is terrible but they have parking spots in the complex your able to park at . No lease agreement saying authorized cars per lease . I get my car towed for parking 7/18/19 in a legal spot no signs saying I can't park there no notifications . She says we don't have to post anything in a legal parking stall that a vehicle may be towed. I told her It's a legal designated spot that allows tenants to park there like every other white line painted stall that the complex has. Oh then I get told don't get mad because You messed up . Great customer service treating your tenants with care and compassion but making them feel like it's just another tenant that pays rent . I pay 2100 for this place a month. With all the negative things this complex offers you can be a little more considerate being that I have to pay 340 dollars to get my car out for doing nothing wrong and parking in a legal stall. . Kayla that was rude and being that I don't bother anyone or cause this complex any problems . You would think they will show you some type of value to their tenants . I was treated unfairly and not professional. This place has really gone to shits even with all the things wrong with this place and holes in the garage dryer that still takes 100 cycles to dry we have not complained to this complex but enough is enough . This has to be addressed and I'm just disgusted that we get treated as such . I will Be writing to the better business bureau also will be contacting corporate how I have been treated. Instead of trying to understand and help you shrug me off like I'm not a person. Do me a favor the price will get you to come but you will soon realize that extra 200-300 for better tenant treatment is worth it . read more

We moved out because of the awful new management that took this place over. I can say without a doubt that Suzanne is the rudest and most disrespectful person i have ever dealt with. She has no place in management! Please do yourself a favor and stay away unless you want a manager that will tell you shut up until she done speaking. She sent us to collections when we had a payment plan already in place. I told her that I would make the payment over the weekend and i did not get there in time on Sunday. so i dropped off our payment on Monday and left. i got a call today from a collection company stating that we are in collections. I conferenced Suzanne in and she said she had already sent us into collections when i dropped off the payment. Keep in mind I was one day late. I had the collection rep on the phone when i spoke withe her and she would not let me speak. she kept telling me to stop talking because she wasn't done yet. I was then told that my cashiers check has been sitting in their office since November 5th. I asked why weren't we informed and why has the check just been sitting there. she said the leasing agent was not aware we were sent to collections. This may be true but Suzanne has been aware and is the one who sent us to collections and never informed us. I then got upset and told Suzanne that this was why people are leaving the complex and this is why all the people that I know who live there or lived there all left because the new management was so bad she got upset and just hung up the phone on me. Shes the manager and just hung up on me!! This is the person your supposed to turn to if you have an issue and need help!! She was so rude that the collection rep was shocked and apologized to me and even helped guide as to what I should do. they have been holding my money for a month and sent us to collections and she has the nerve to say it was our fault and hang up on me. I have called back numerous times but no one will answer my calls. My check is still there and they have sent us to collections. The staff here truly does not appreciate its residents and treats the residents as if they owe something to the management. We loved living here and the only negative thing i can say about the previous company was the biggest mistake they made was selling to this company. I understand you cant make everyone happy but there's also something to say when your making everyone upset and i don't know a single person who lived here when i did that is still here or isn't in the process of moving. i have a friend who currently lives here and is moving out two month early and paying rent just to get away. Do yourself and your family a favor and stay away. I will be filing complaints with local agencies for thing that happened while we lived here as well. read more

*** WARNING*** I am updating my review after speaking with a few tenants and comparing stories. I urge you to give your money to a complex that is not all kinds of shady, borderline crooks. Because of new management and the atmosphere and mood of the new Sierra Heights a lot of residents are moving out, and getting out of their leases. As per mine and many other residents lease agreements, exiting your lease is not a problem as long as you give one months notice as well as essentially paying two months rent before leaving. So this tenant did just that, gave notice and payed double her rent to exit her lease as specified in the lease agreement. After finding out that this residents was filing a lawsuit against Sierra Heights, they then send her a statement weeks later (after she has been gone) saying that she owe them what comes out to 6 months rents for exiting her lease early. Mind you the agreement clearly states the price of existing your agreement and she payed that price. As well as the price that was given to her verbally and in writing by the management at the time she gave her notice. The management is clearly trying to intimidate and or scare her into dropping her lawsuit against them. What they are neglecting to realize is that they are burning so many bridges with so many good people, and large corporations that do that end up in class action lawsuits. Please save your time, effort and energy and find somewhere else to lay your head. If you work all day and come home to get away from your bosses you do not want to live here, because you will leave management at work to deal with way worse management at home. Also if you notice in reading the reviews they are very polar opposites, so you will either get a terrible experience or rainbows and sunshine, so why take the risk.
