We had our daughter's 10th birthday party there. Everything was easy and smooth from the reservation process to the day of. Our host, Seth, was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We had 2 lanes in the VIP room and he offered to open a 3rd lane, if needed, which we didn't. We've also attended a few birthday parties there before and food is always delicious. Yeah, soooo I completely regret coming here. The service..... is .... crap!!! I was a the bowling alley for about 30 minutes and no server came to us. Then I got up 3 times to tell the manager that we wanted to place an order and they said okay, we'll send someone over. Thirty more minutes passed and a lady finally came, to ask for our shoe basket. Perhaps the food would have taste better if I had been playing one of the games they have here in this arcade/restaurant. Even though the parking lot was full, the restaurant part of the venue was only 1/4 full. Thinking most were there to game vs eat. Ordered fish and chips and a Christmas ale from Breckinridge brewing. The beer was decent, the fish and chips left a bit to be desired. For $15 I was expecting some decent pieces of cod and a pile fries. The cod looked more like cod strips? They were about 3/4 x 1/2" in terms of the fish itself thought the substantial breading was crisp and not overly oily. I've never seen cod shaped like this before which made me suspicious it was really swai or some other nondescript, indistinguishable fish. The Cole slaw was stale and wilted and very small. And the fries were even small in size. Finally, fish and chips should always come with malt vinegar And tartar sauce. But alas, only a small 1/8 cup size of remoulade sauce was served. All in all a great place to wash sports due to the many giant TVs, but not really a place i would recommend for the food alone. Service was prompt. read more

This is one of my lunch spots since it's so close to my work. My go to is the SW chicken salad, it's really good! Today I thought I'd try a different salad so I ordered the crispy chicken salad. A few things I didn't like about this experience was that they forgot to include a fork with my order. Additionally, they forgot the tomatoes which was a bummer. Went last night for the first time for a company Christmas party. It was a blast. Such a great venue for a party! 3 bars, room for a band, and adults letting loose playing games like kids. The menu was buffet style and the food was honestly bad. We heard a lot of complaints about it during the evening. I'm not sure if it was the regular menu items or something special for the event. They did have some tasty jalepeno wontons though. I hope those were a regular item on the menu! Overall. we enjoyed our time there. It was clean, the staff was nice, etc. I'll be back. read more

My coworkers and I had a chance to check this new place out for lunch during the week. Parking is ok, but might be limited on weekends. We were kindly greeted as we walked in the door. The entire place is full of bright colorful lights. My coworkers and I were curious and wanted to check out the entire place. One of the employees was very friendly and gladly showed us around. We were surprised to see how big this place really is, also including a VIP area with your own bowling lanes. The entire place has about 4 fully stocked bars. Environment: The place was filled With large screen TV's , three bars , dining area , arcade, laser tag and even a VIP room. The look and feel we're amazing for bakersfield. FOOD WE ORDERED ZEUS, AND IT WAS AMAZING FOR THE PRICE AND SERVING SIZE. The wait for our appetizer was about 40 mins. We ordered nachos for our appetizer and it was really disappointing. There was barely any cheese basically just tortilla chips. Experience. SINCE THE PLACE WAS NEW there were many glitches. We paid for an hour of bowling but only got to play 15 mins because the lanes were faulty. We apporached employees and management multiple times but our issue wasn't looked at until the end. They were hesitant. One of the managers were not sympathetic and did not extend our playing time. The bowling technican was the one who pointed out to the someone in charge r and since we were still going to play laser tag she offered us a free game. We thought we were content until we realized the entire game of laser tag was defective., Until the last 10 secs. We were offered another game if we stood in line again for 30 mins. I understand this place is fairly new. We will definitely to give it another chance. REALLY HOPE THESE ISSUES ARE SOLVED. With better customer service and less glitches this place is definitely a 5 star. read more

I got a chance to hang out in the VIP room as I was here for a private event. The room has its own separate bowling lanes and bar. For the food, the selection were sliders, wontons, chicken tenders, French fries, and three different pizzas. If I reviewed the food alone it was probably three stars, but definitely not more. The fries were a bit stale, but the rest of the food was good for appetizers. The sauces they served were syrup, spicy mayo, and this ketchup that tasted a bit like BBQ. They offer laser tag , arcade games, sky trail, bowling, and one karaoke room. Laser Tag - Laser tag is $7 per person and you get about 10-15 minutes of play time. This reminded me of the old school laser tag back in the day. You wear a vest with an attached gun. I think Respawn Laser Tag out by the airport is way cooler and much more tactical, but this place makes it easier for kids as targets are much larger and the arena is smaller in comparison. My only complaint is that the wait time to even play is almost unbearable. We waited about 40 minutes. Granted, they can't do anything to really prevent the wait time without overcrowding the arena or shortening the game time. I just recommend laser tag on days that aren't so busy. Sky Trail - This is also $7 per person. For those only kind of afraid of heights this might give you a small rush of adrenaline! For those who aren't afraid, this will just be a walk in the park. The only thing that was actually kind of exciting was the rolling pole. All the other course were fairly easy. I should note that the kids doing the course seemed to be enjoying the sky trail. Arcade Games - They have a few games here. Instead of getting tickets, everything is electronic which is pretty cool. There's a display room for all the prizes. I like that they let you take the card home so you don't have to spend your tickets on the same day. I would come visit The BLVD again, but I'm definitely going to wait a couple of months and come in the evening when there may be less children. I would love to take my kid cousins here, but if I come with a group of adults, I would not be comfortable waiting in line with a random group of kids and a beer in my hand. Maybe they should have an adult night only for one or two nights a week. Just a suggestion. Overall, this a great place, but be prepared to spend a good amount of money for a couple of hours of fun. read more

This place was so much fun! Our family took us here for a fun night out of good food and bowling! We ordered the nachos, pizza and the fish and chips. The food was pretty mediocre but the place itself was so much fun! We loved the bowling and all the games they offered. The place is so clean and so bright! They have a lot of games to choose from and the games all work! A lot of times you go to places like this and half the games are broken and don't work. Reserved 2 lanes and ordered food for our son's bday party. Pizza came out on time but was barely cooked super flimsy and lukewarm. there was supposed to be fries as the side which we asked for 3 times. Finally an hour, literally an hour later the fries came out and we were told we had 5 minutes left and had to leave because our time was ip for the party. Our host was kind but MIA the majority of the time. The stand the pizza was set on was so flimsy that one of the pizzas actually fell onto the floor. When we purchased the Adulteen bday pkg it states there will be a 20% gratuity added to the total. Understandable with 10 people to serve and have a dedicated host. We ordered food as individuals and they automatically tacked on 20% gratuity to those items too even though it was not part of the party. We moved out of the party area since our hour and a half was up even though it took an hour and 25 minutes to get all of our food to us. We purchased laser tag for 4 of our kids they waited an hour to get in. My son got a text on his phone saying his group was up in 10 minutes. When the group before them came out my son and his friend started to head in and they were told by a worker that they were closing and could not go in. They went back to the counter for a refund and they tried to give a game card with $44 credits. I told them I didn't want credits I wanted a refund since they weren't allowed to play. They looked at me like I was lying. My son showed the notification on his phone and the time on it and the response was "hhhmm thats odd. I don't know why it would do that I've never had that happen before. That's odd." He said that he gave a credit that we can use when we come back. I told him I wanted a refund. Finally he offer a cash refund. Needless to say, a VERY disappointing experience especially for a birthday party. Their quality and service has definitely gone down hill from the bday party experience we had there 2 years ago. read more

Horrible service.. went Sunday around 4:30pm. Was told there would be a 15 minute wait and that we'll receive a text when they're ready.. after we got the text we went in showed the girl that seat people and instantly got an attitude for her like we did something wrong.. it was our anniversary. She literally speed walked to our table, threw the menus down and walked off before we even made it to the table.. we then sat for 20 minutes without anyone checking on us or even take our drink order.. I walked to the bar to make an order and the bar tenders just ignored me. I'm sure they have it all on video.. Came here with a group of friends and had a lot of fun! We sat down to eat first while we were on the waitlist for bowling. Our waitress was super nice. Drinks were good, not too strong. For food- definitely recommend the wings and blooming onion. The garlic & cheese twists, soft pretzels w/ cheese fondue were okay. We also got the nachos and added on steak but there was barely any steak when it came out. The guac on the nachos was good though. My Husband, Daughter, and I decided to check this place out after hearing some good reviews from friends. First I want to point out that it is much bigger than it appears from the outside; they managed to fit bowling, laser tag, skyline obstacles, pool tables, restaurant, beer garden, and a much better than average arcade into their space. Second, they had the A/C cranked up which made it paradise for those of us who keep PG&E costs down at home. Third their staff are AWESOME; Ruby waited on us in the bar area. She was attentive, fun, courteous, and offered us great advice on appetizers, entrees, and dessert. I wish I had gotten the name of the woman at the front desk area because she too was helpful and pleasant. The three of us had a great time for several hours and for reasonable amount of money.
